Here in Tampere
in Ratina Shopping Centre
the first one of
the big 5 rebuilds
is now completed.
The project started
in February
and was completed
in the middle of March.
The whole store is new.
We have more space
in the home department.
A smaller
hardware department.
A new multimedia
department,
there's also
new products coming.
Every product
has a new place.
We had a good plan
and a nice group
of people
who did this.
It went very well.
We have increased
our sales with 110 index.
So it's super.
The biggest departments
was the home department
and the multimedia.
It's easier for customers
to find the products.
I think that's the key
for all of this.
Multimedia is the biggest
growing section right now.
Also makeup storage,
it's a big hit.
Customer says that the
new layout is great.
I hear that a lot,
almost every day.
They find products
better than before.
I think it's really good
to make this change.
I think the sales
will increase a lot in the future.
Our store in Kamppi in Helsinki
was the second one to be rebuilt
to make space
for the new assortment.
Before we came here,
I was checking our workchat.
I saw that we had
a lot of products here.
They had a bit of trouble
to put those on the shelf
because we didnt'
have the place.
We really need this change
so we had space for all products
and also the new
store assortment for Finland.
It's good that we're focusing on
what finnish people are buying.
We're giving opportunities
to new products.
People are already buying those.
They are excited.
Customers are interested
and they're buying the products.
Yes, I like it very much.
In my own store,
I like the layout.
Especially Home
that got a lot of more space.
Also we finally have
a seasonal room.
We didn't have that before.
Now we have one place
for all seasonal products.
Also , I like that there's
a lot of low sections.
In the home section you can
actually see the whole area.
You can see over there
—and over there
beacuse we have
so many low sections.
Also, we have many more pallets
than we used to have.
I have had this wish
that in December we will
have one million in sales.
It's getting closer
and closer every year.
This new assortment will support
so we can reach that goal.
I'm waiting for
Christmas already now.
The project in Tripla
started in April.
Home department
will be increased
and Multimedia has been
moved to the checkout .
We're on time,
from what I can calculate.
We have a lot of work
and we do long days.
We have to change
the place for the checkout.
Behind the checkout,
we're building a room for Click & Collect.
In Tripla,
that is the biggest challenge.
The best thing is that we now
can optimize the assortment.
What customers needs,
what they are asking for.
If hardware doesn’t sell much,
we can tighten the space
I think that's really important.
And what about the result then?
There's no doubt
on how that will be.
Better than in Tampere!
Our store at Kaivotalo
in Helsinki
will be the last one
to be rebuilt before summer.
Home is the most important
category in our store.
The storage has
been more asked for.
It has increased the
past year.
Storage products are selling
the most of all our products.
I hope the customers
will be inspired
by the products we will have
in the store
and can navigate themselves
in the store.
The mechanical sales
is very important.
Of course I hope it will
generate more sales in the end.
I’m looking forward
to the rebuild very much.
I hope it will get us
more visitors and sales.
And sales has increased.
In addition to the 10 per cent
increase in Ratina,
the store did also very well
during the LTO on makeup storage.
We came second in the whole company,
we're selling makeup storage that well.
Only Drottninggatan beat us.
