has just reported that there's a fish

out there called the African annual fish

that has the most rapid sexual

maturation of any vertebrate species

basically these fishes are being born

then they hit puberty and then they go

crazy with the sex and then they make a

bunch of babies then they kick the bucket

are built to handle
this kind of stuff

a report made by Martin Richard

stated that they can grow up 
to 23% of their body length

in a day and start reproducing 
around 17 days old then

their eggs can make it to the hatching

stage in as few as 
15 days which means

these fish are making it from one 
generation to the next

in about a month

so , what happens to the eggs
when the water dries up

and they haven't hatched yet

not to worry the dormant embryos of 
the African annual fish can survive in

in dried mud for months

but hey you can't blame them 
cuz when life's short you got

to play hard
