The interviewer is trying to assess
whether you’re qualified to do
the electronic drafter position
you’re interviewing for or not.
Do you have the skills necessary
or will you need training?
Your response should be focused
and brief while delivering
a fully complete answer.
And avoid getting stuck in the details
too much so you can keep
the interviewer interested
and listening.
You may want to ask a question
or two of your own about challenges
the employer may be facing or projects
that have proven to be difficult.
It’s a good way to build rapport
and make it more of a back
and forth conversation
with the interviewer.
