You might know me as Becky Jackson on the TV series "Glee".

This is my mom, Robin.

When you first meet Lauren, you may just see her disability...

but it is not what defines her.

Growing up, Lauren was unfortunately reminded of her differences

because of mean-spirited jokes, pranks and name calling.

The fact is, kids with special needs are more likely to be bullied than any other students.

– That's just not OK, but it happens every day.

My mom and I are taking action to disable bullying.
