Do you think you can tell if someone's going to be a bully by the way they look? >> Maybe when try to look all tough. >> What do you think makes somebody act like a bully? >> Maybe something like wrong at home. >> Okay, awesome. Great ideas. So, you're going to read a little story called "Keep Your Distance." So, I'm going to have you read out loud for me and start with the title. You can start whenever you're ready. >> Keep your distance. Elwood was considered a tough guy at Anderson School. Everybody call him Woody. They didn't dare to call him by his full name because that riled him. He was colossal in size. From far away, Elwood looked like Mr. Wilson, a teacher, but the moment you saw Elwood's shoes and faded, torn jeans, you knew it could only be Elwood. He felt inferior because of his clothing, so he tried to make up for it by shocking people with his rude behavior and toughness. Elwood didn't have many friends, except for Bob who lived in the same old apartment building. >> Awesome. Fantastic. All right. Now, I want you to tell me everything that you remember starting at the beginning. >> Okay. Elwood was in school and everyone called him Elwood because if you called him by his first name, like his full name, then he would like yell at you. And Elwood looked like Mr. Wilson, a teacher over there. But once you saw his faded shoes and ripped jeans, then you would know that it was Elwood. >> Anything else? >> Elwood was a -- [ Inaudible ] So, if you could tell me in just a few words or a sentence, what is this story about? >> I would tell you Elwood trying to be tough. >> And what did people think about Elwood? What was Elwood considered? >> A bully. >> What school did he go to? >> Anderson School. >> What did he look like? >> He had faded shoes, ripped jeans and [inaudible]. >> And what did everybody call him? >> Elwood because if you called him by his first name, he would get mad at you. >> How did Elwood shock people?
