the other question i want to address is
this thing about
um you know like
hanging out with people that are not
really into sikhi is that okay or not
i think we have to be clear to our kids
those that are into sikhi
we need to sort of tell our kids that
there are other people
that are not following sikhi properly
but they're also sick
so you have to explain to them that
there's people that are not
khalsa but they just six anyway
so we tell our kids that there's cars
are six and there's none called sussex
so there's like people who cut their
beard or these people that drink
people that you know eat meat or other
things but they're not really
they're not following the car somewhere
but they are still sick otherwise you
know they can go either like oh they're
fake seeks
like you know they don't realize so
they'll just make up a word and say oh
there's a fake sick over there
and you're like no no he's not a fake
he's a sick but he's just not cast
and then obviously with your kids just
make them clear
that we follow the sikhi line or we
follow the khalsa way
and these people they follow the
non-khalsawi and it's okay
you can they could they like say so i
mean
it's a big word for a young kid you know
you can just say like non khan
says um
but that doesn't mean that you tell them
oh we can
they're not the same if you say all
sikhs are the same
if you say all religion the same they'll
get confused if you say everybody's the
same
then they'll say well why should i be
different then why do i have to keep my
case
this person have to keep the keys so you
do have to tell them
that the kaasawa is the guru's preferred
way
the guru wants khalsa children guru
gave up his four sons but he still
accepted everybody else as his children
so it's not that you you reduce the
status of the call-serving
you still say this is the best way of
following sikhi but
other people don't we don't criticize
them
but we understand this is the best way
to follow
