9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Welcome to Lesson 5 of the Kingdom school.[br]I'm very excited to be with you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I think that this lesson [br]will bless you a lot. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Some of you will experience [br]freedom today. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Some of you will have never [br]heard this before. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But I know some people will have [br]an issue with what I'm sharing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But please bear with me. You’ll see [br]that these things are actually biblical. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let’s start. I hope you're ready. [br]Lesson 4 was called: ‘Saved out of Egypt: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Our journey of salvation.’ [br]I love that lesson. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to start now by reading [br]this beautiful feedback: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A man wrote here: ‘Brother Torben![br]I'm 72 years old. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is the first time I've heard [br]the Full Gospel message like this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Preached out of the Old Testament. [br]That is such a great teaching. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Church needs to hear it, [br]even more than the lost.’ 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, this man is 72 years old. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This was the first time he’s heard the [br]gospel preached out of the Old Testament. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This comment really affected me. I [br]experienced the same thing in jail. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God revealed it to me in a new way: the [br]gospel in the Old and New Testaments. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The gospel of the Kingdom. [br]Much of this was new for me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what the church needs. God [br]brought me to jail to reveal this to me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So I get extremely excited [br]when I receive a comment like this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The first four lessons: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 1: The Beginning of Eden [br]to the new Heaven and Earth: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Fall, Noah, and the Flood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 2: Abraham Our Father: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This happened after the fall, [br]wickedness and destruction. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How God desired a people who are [br]His, beginning with Abraham. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is the father of Faith - a man had [br]a family that later became a nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 3: I explained how that [br]nation was called out of Egypt. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Likewise, we are called out of Babylon. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was called: ‘Called out of Egypt’: How [br]that nation was called out from Egypt. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How we today are called [br]out to be the Church. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We are set apart as God's holy people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I love that lesson. I want to start [br]with a personal testimony. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Last week, my daughter Simone got married. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Here’s a picture of the area just outside [br]this studio. I'm standing there, smiling. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Simone and Joshua have just said “Yes” [br]to each other. They were so excited. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This wedding, this past week, [br]is the strongest picture for me of this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The church is those who are called out. [br]They are holy and separated. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This wedding was holy and so beautiful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The fear of God was there [br]in a beautiful way. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What happened just [br]a few hours before this? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I saw my daughter Simone in her [br]wedding dress for the first time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Her hair was done. She had makeup on [br]and everything. It was so, so beautiful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Here is a one-minute video of my reaction. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For the first time I saw my daughter [br]standing in the beautiful wedding dress. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 My reaction surprised me. [br]I really broke down. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to show you this clip [br]and then will continue talking it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 [Unclear speech and Danish, crying] [br]So, you can see here that I broke down. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s in Danish so it’s hard to understand.[br]Not a lot was said: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “You're beautiful”, “I love you Simone”, [br]“I love you Dad” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was a strong experience for me. [br]I saw my daughter there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 She was so holy, beautiful, clean and [br]ready to be given away to Joshua. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is what the bride is. [br]She is called-out and separated. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 She is ready for her husband. [br]Here are some verses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul wrote: “For I am jealous for you [br]with the jealousy of God himself” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God is also jealous for His people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “I promised you as a pure bride [br]to one husband – Christ.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So Paul promised the church [br]as a pure bride to one husband. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That husband is Christ. [br]Here are so many beautiful pictures. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Revelation 19: “Let us be glad and [br]rejoice, and let us give honour to him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For the time has come for the wedding [br]feast of the Lamb, and his bride” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the church “has prepared herself.” [br]We, the church, prepare ourselves: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “She has been given the finest of [br]pure white linen to wear” What is that? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For the fine linen represents the [br]good deeds of God's holy people.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Here’s a photo of myself walking with [br]my daughter Simone. Here’s the kiss. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I actually made a video about it. [br]This is the thumbnail. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you’ve not seen the video, please do. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I explain that this was the first time [br]they’d kissed each other. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He has been living with us for four years. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They never touched each other [br]intimately or kissed each other. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 After the wedding, they left. [br]Then these two virgins became one flesh. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The blood was spilled. [br]They entered into a covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Watch the video. Look at this wedding. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 See that we, the church, have fallen [br]far away from God's grace and intentions. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This wedding was an extremely [br]clear example of what we should be: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Called-out, holy and separated. [br]We should be purifying ourselves. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re not only invited to a wedding: [br]We’re the bride and living for that day. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk a lot more about the wedding [br]feast and God’s kingdom in another lesson. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this is an extremely beautiful example[br]of the topic we’re speaking about here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There’s a link under this video. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Please watch my video: [br]“Now you may kiss the bride”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I explain that the wedding is [br]connected with the God’s kingdom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re invited to the wedding feast. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 4: The Process of Being Called [br]Out: The Israelites were called out. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Likewise, we must remove the yeast [br]from our house (repentance). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There’s the blood (the cross) and [br]the Red Sea (baptism into Christ). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then the Israelites walked through [br]the wilderness toward the Promised Land. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They were guided by the [br]Pillar of Cloud and Fire. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Likewise, we’ve received the Holy Spirit. [br]We walk by the Spirit toward our goal: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The heavenly Jerusalem will [br]come down from heaven. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Those were the first four lessons. We’ll [br]move on now. I’ll talk about Moses today. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Next time, we’ll look at the New and [br]Old Covenant and how they work together. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Today, we’ll look at Moses [br]and the giving of the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 From the law with Moses, [br]to truth and grace in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There’s a difference between [br]the old and new covenants. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 5’s focus is on Freedom from sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re called to be free [br]and to live holy lives. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 After a few more lessons, we’ll look at [br]how David is connected with God’s kingdom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then there’ll be a permanent shift. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Instead of focussing on the nation [br]of Israel, we'll focus on the kingdom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I hope you're ready. I’ll pray [br]and then we'll start. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God, I thank You for this [br]revelation. I thank You for Your truth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I pray that it will bring [br]understanding, God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That it will bring truth and [br]freedom to people, God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That they will experience the freedom, [br]Jesus, that You have for them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Come with Your Holy Spirit. [br]Help me to share this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Help people to receive this, God. [br]In the name of Jesus, Amen. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 5 will also be long. [br]I will talk about a lot of things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But there’ll be a break in the middle, [br]if you need it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 5: The law of Moses. There is [br]the word ‘Death’. That law brings death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law of Christ: That law brings [br]life. Here you can see: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 True understanding brings: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Freedom from sin, holiness, purity, [br]victory and eternal life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What happened with my daughter and [br]Joshua? Now you may kiss your bride. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This was the first time they kissed [br]and were together. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That’s the fruit of a true understanding. [br]It is not about an external law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s actually about the heart. [br]This comes from a true understanding. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A false understanding brings slavery to [br]sin, a double life and eternal death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A true understanding of what the [br]law means for us today, will bring that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A false understanding of [br]the law will bring this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A true understanding of [br]grace will bring this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A false understanding of [br]grace will bring this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Some people with a false [br]understanding talk a lot about the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can know a tree by the fruit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Those people are enslaved [br]and living a double life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But others talk a lot about grace. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They are also enslaved [br]and living a double life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They don't have the right [br]understanding of it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s important to say this at the start, [br]when we look at the law of Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let’s move on: It’s possible to [br]divide this law into three parts: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 1. Commandments governing [br]their personal lives. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 2. Law for their social lives [br]with one another. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 3. Ordination for religious lives. We can [br]divide the law like this. I am not a Jew. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I've never been a Jew. I'm a Gentile and [br]a born-again believer. I'm grafted in. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The promise is mine. But I'm not a Jew. [br]The law was given to Israel as a nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Actually, it was never given to those who [br]are Gentiles and live in another country. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's really important to understand [br]this concept. Right now, I’m in Mexico. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I used to live in America. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In America, you can drive through [br]a red light if you’re turning right. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is not breaking the law. [br]But it's different in Mexico. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I can’t drive through a red light and [br]turn right, apart from a few exceptions. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Europe, it's even worse. There, I’m [br]not allowed to drive through a red light. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But here in Mexico, I can’t say, “But [br]they do that in Denmark. Or in America. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, I can do it.” No. I'm here now. [br]It matters where you are. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I can see a great lack of [br]understanding here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Gentiles didn’t have ancestors [br]living in Israel. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But those Gentiles try to apply [br]the law of Moses to today 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 – how we should live with each other. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Some try to apply the religious [br]laws of offerings and sacrifices today. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But those have nothing do with us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It all goes wrong, if we don’t understand [br]to whom the law was given and when. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If we don’t understand the covenant [br]that it was part of. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is extremely important. [br]True understanding brings freedom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can fall into one of two ditches, [br]when listening to teaching about this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 One ditch is legalism, where you try to [br]go under the law and become bound to it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The other is lawlessness, where you say: [br]I'm not under the law of Moses. I'm free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They don’t understand that we are under [br]a different law now, the law of Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That law is written on your heart. [br]I’ll talk about that later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, there's a narrow road [br]between two ditches. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 On one side is legalism, and [br]on the other side is lawlessness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re called to live in the middle [br]of the road. I hope you're ready. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Exodus 20 is about Moses [br]and the Ten Commandments. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Exodus 19: “Now if you obey me fully” [br]Not 30% or half but fully 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “and keep my covenant, then out of all [br]nations you'll be my treasured possession. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Although the whole earth is mine, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you will be for me a kingdom [br]of priests and a holy nation.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Whom did God say that to? The [br]Israelites, not the Danish or Americans. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He said that to Israel. The promise was [br]given to them. The law was given to them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They needed to fully obey God’s [br]commands. Then He would do His part. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We read here: “The people [br]all responded together, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “We will do everything the LORD has [br]said.” Did they do what God had commanded? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No. But God did not give up. [br]Keep my commands (laws). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then you'll be my treasured possession… [br]a kingdom of priests, a holy nation… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk about that later. Let’s read a [br]longer text that describes this" 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What actually happened when the law [br]was given and Moses was on the mountain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is a very significant event compared [br]to others recorded in the Bible. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Exodus 19: “On the morning of the third [br]day, there was thunder and lightning, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with a thick cloud over the mountain, [br]and a very loud trumpet blast. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Everyone in the camp trembled.” [br]The spectacle was frightening. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Then Moses led the people [br]out of the camp to meet God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and they stood at the foot [br]of the mountain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke [br]because the LORD descended on it in fire. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The smoke billowed up…” [br]It was an incredible spectacle. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “As the sound of the trumpet [br]grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and the voice of God answered him.” [br]Moses talked with God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “The LORD descended to the top of [br]Mount Sinai and called Moses 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to the top of the mountain. [br]So Moses went up.” What a spectacle! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “And the LORD said to him, [br]“Go down and warn the people 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so they do not force their way through [br]to see the LORD and many of them perish.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So Moses was commanded to prevent [br]the people from going up. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Otherwise, they would die. Why? [br]Because this was a holy place. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A holy moment. We read here: [br]“Even the priests, who approach the LORD, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 must consecrate themselves, or [br]the LORD will break out against them.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So God was there. His holiness was there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The other Israelites couldn’t simply [br]approach God like Moses could. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The priest needed to consecrate [br]themselves. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Otherwise, God would break out [br]against them. Then we read: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “When Moses went and told the [br]people all the LORD's words and laws, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they responded with one voice, [br]“Everything the LORD has said we will do.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses then wrote down [br]everything the LORD had said.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses built an altar. Israelites [br]sacrificed offerings on it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’m going through this quickly. [br]“Moses then took half of the blood… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the other he splashed against the altar. [br]Then he took the Book of the Covenant 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and read it to the people. They responded,[br]“We will do everything the LORD has said; 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we will obey.” Moses then took the blood, [br]sprinkled it on the people, and said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “This is the blood of the covenant that [br]the LORD has made with you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in accordance with all these words.” So, [br]Moses went up to God. God spoke to Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses wrote it all down, and built [br]an altar. They slaughtered animals. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses splashed half of the blood [br]against the altar. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He sprinkled the other half on the [br]people. They had replied, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “We will obey everything the Lord [br]have said.” But did they do that? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No, they didn’t. Read this: [br]“This is the blood of the covenant 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that the LORD has made” [br]This points to the New Testament. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Jesus said, “This is my blood of [br]the New Covenant.” It points to Jesus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let’s continue: “The LORD said to [br]Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and stay here, and I will give you [br]the tablets of stone with the law 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and commandments I have [br]written for their instruction.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When Moses went up on the [br]mountain, the cloud covered it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then Moses entered the cloud [br]as he went on up the mountain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And he stayed on the mountain [br]forty days and forty nights.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Please read the whole of Exodus, because [br]it's very important. This is our history. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s not just a Jewish story. It’s our [br]story. All of this points to Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In chapter 24, Moses went up the mountain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In chapters 25 to 31, are some of the [br]things God revealed to Moses. Chapter 25: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Ark of the Covenant, the Table for [br]the Bread and the Golden Lampstand. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Chapter 26: The Tabernacle [br](Tent of Meeting): 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 where God came down later and met with [br]them, while they were traveling around. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Chapter 27: The Bronze Altar. [br]Chapter 28: The Priests’ Garments. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Chapter 29: Consecration of the Priests. [br]Chapter 30: The Altar of Incense. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Chapter 31: The Sabbath. We read [br]after that: “When the LORD finished 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave [br]him the two tablets of the covenant law, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the tablets of stone inscribed [br]by the finger of God.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But what happened while Moses was [br]on the mountain in God’s presence? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Only a short time before, [br]the people had said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “We will do everything the LORD [br]has said; we will obey.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But not long after, they did the opposite,[br]while Moses was on the mountain. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We read here: “When the people saw [br]that Moses was so long in coming down 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 from the mountain, they gathered [br]around Aaron and said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Come, make us gods who will go before us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As for this fellow Moses who [br]brought us up out of Egypt, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we don't know what has [br]happened to him.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Try to imagine this situation. [br]They’d said, “God, we want to obey you.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then Moses had sprinkled the blood [br]of the covenant on the people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses had gone up the mountain. [br]After less than 40 days, they said 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “We don't know what’s happened [br]about Moses. Let's make a golden calf.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then they broke God's law. [br]I’ll talk more about that later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They actually broke the first [br]two of the ten commandments: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You shall have no other gods before me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You shan't make yourself an image in the[br]form of anything in heaven or on earth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You shall not bow down to them. But that’s[br]what they did. They made a golden calf. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What did they call it? “This is the [br]LORD who brought us out of Egypt. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is the LORD our God, Yahweh, [br]who brought us out of Egypt.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They did not change God's name [br]but they changed his image. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We do the same in our minds today. We [br]say, “We serve God, the god of the Bible. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We serve Christ Jesus.” [br]We don’t change God’s name. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But we change His image in our minds. [br]Suddenly, this is a different Jesus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A different God. I want to ask: Is your [br]God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Is He the God who brought [br]the Israelites out of Egypt? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If not, you’ve made yourself an idol. [br]You are serving a different god. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’ve done the same as the Israelites. [br]Many people do that today. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They serve a New Testament god, [br]full of grace and mercy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They say that the Old Testament god was [br]evil. But the Bible is true story. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk about that later. Three thousand[br]people were killed that day. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk about that, shortly. Before we [br]continue, I want to remind you of this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The covenants point to Christ [br]and the New Covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to show you these pictures [br]and shadows, that'll become clear to you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’ve looked now at Noah, [br]Abraham and Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 With Noah, the sign of the covenant [br]was the rainbow: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A sign of hope and a new beginning [br]for those who were saved in the ark; 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the rest perished in the waters. [br]With Abraham, circumcision was the sign: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The cutting of the foreskin [br]was a sign of the Covenant 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 - so that the people would [br]not be cut off from the promise. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Instead, they would inherit through [br]Abraham. Now we have Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God gave him stone tablets [br]with His laws written down: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Israelites first needed [br]to keep His laws. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then God would make them [br]His treasured possession. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A kingdom of priests and a holy [br]nation. Let's look at Christ here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 With Noah: “In Christ, we are now saved [br]from the waters (symbolizing baptism). 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We leave behind the old life and [br]embrace hope for eternal life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The ark is like Christ, in whom we are [br]now saved. We put off that old life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We are saved through the water. [br]Now, we have hope and eternal life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Abraham and the circumcision: In [br]Christ, we have circumcision of the heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We will inherit as children of Abraham. [br]Moses and the stone tablets: In Christ: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God has written His laws on our hearts. [br]We can become God's treasured possession. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A kingdom of priests and a holy nation. [br]This is so beautiful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Each covenant adds another part to the [br]picture of what we have in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now, I’ll talk about some things [br]in the New Testament. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 After that, we’ll return to the Old [br]Testament. Hebrews 9: “But when Christ 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 came as high priest of the good [br]things that are now already here, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 he went through the greater [br]and more perfect tabernacle” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Christ came as high priest and went [br]through a greater, more perfect tabernacle 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “that is not made with human hands, that [br]is to say, is not a part of this creation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He did not enter by means of [br]the blood of goats and calves; 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but he entered into the Most Holy Place [br]once for all by his own blood, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 thus obtaining eternal redemption. The [br]blood of goats and bulls and the ashes…” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 could only clean people on the outside. [br]All the things we have read about: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses, the tabernacle, the priestly [br]garments, the high priest and the Sabbath. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 These are all pictures and shadows [br]of a new reality that is in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He who went through the real tabernacle [br]in heaven. We read here: “How much more, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then, will the blood of Christ, who [br]through the eternal Spirit offered himself 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 unblemished to God, cleanse our [br]consciences from acts that lead to death, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so that we may serve the living God!” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Offerings of goats and calves and their [br]blood could not cleanse the conscience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But Christ did. It's not external.[br]It's an internal thing, that is deep: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For this reason, Christ is the mediator [br]of a new covenant, that those who are 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 called may receive the promised eternal [br]inheritance - now that he has died as 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a ransom to set them free from the sins [br]committed under the first covenant.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll go on to explain this. “Now if you [br]obey me fully and keep my covenant, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then out of all nations you will [br]be my treasured possession… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 you will be for me a kingdom of [br]priests and a holy nation.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That was God’s command. [br]Did the Israelites fully obey God? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No. Did they break His laws? Yes. [br]Have you fully obeyed God? No. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Have you broken His laws? Yes. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That means that if it depended on you, you[br]wouldn’t become a treasured possession. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Nor a kingdom of priests. Nor a holy [br]nation. You didn’t keep the conditions. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But Christ did. In Him, we’re forgiven. [br]In Him, we’re grafted in. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Him, we’re free. In Him, [br]this belongs to us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What did Peter say to the church [br]of Jewish and Gentile believers? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The same is true of born-again Jewish [br]and Gentile believers today: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “But you are a chosen people, [br]a royal priesthood, a holy nation, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God's special possession, that you may [br]declare the praises of him who called you 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 out of darkness into his wonderful light. [br]Once you were not a people, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but now you are the people of God; [br]once you had not received mercy, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but now you have received mercy.” When [br]you understand this it’s really beautiful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law could not do this. We all [br]failed. We’ve all broken the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But Christ kept it. In him, we [br]become what God said. In Christ: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re God's chosen people, [br]a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re God's special possession. I want to [br]say this: God hasn’t forgotten the Jews. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk about the Jews, shortly. [br]The promise is still for them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this is our reality now, in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But not everyone in a church [br]building, is part of the church. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not everyone who professes [br]a faith in God, is a child of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not everyone who confesses Jesus, actually[br]obeys Jesus. This is really important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The promise is real. But to receive it, [br]you need to be fully born again. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You need to live this new life. [br]You need to be in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then, this will be your reality. [br]Let's continue reading Hebrews: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “It was necessary, then, for [br]the copies of the heavenly things 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to be purified with these sacrifices” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What were the tabernacle in the desert, [br]the sacrifices and the offerings? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They were copies of the heavenly things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For Christ did not enter a sanctuary [br]made with human hands” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, he wasn’t like the other priests. That[br]earthly sanctuary was a copy, a picture. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was different. “that was only a copy of[br]the true one; he entered heaven itself” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We need to understand this. Let’s continue[br]reading. Hebrews is an amazing book. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The author wrote about offerings. [br]Then it’s written: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Just as people are destined to die once, [br]and after that to face judgment, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 so Christ was sacrificed once to [br]take away the sins of many; 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he will appear a second time, [br]not to bear sin, but to bring salvation 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to those who are waiting for [br]him.” Remember this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At the time of Moses, [br]the tabernacle was temporary. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was a copy of the real heavenly one. [br]Like everything else, it points to Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This will get clearer as we continue. [br]Now, we'll return to the events in Exodus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses came down the mountain. [br]The Israelites had made a golden calf. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We read about the events beforehand: “When[br]the people saw that Moses was so long 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 in coming down from the mountain, [br]they gathered around Aaron and said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Come make us gods who will go before us. [br]As for this fellow Moses who brought us 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 up out of Egypt, we don’t know [br]what has happened to him.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then they took the gold rings off that [br]their wives, sons, and daughters wore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They brought them to Aaron. [br]“He took what they handed him and made it 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 into an idol cast in the shape of a calf. [br]He shaped it with a tool. Then they said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “This, Israel, is your god who brought [br]you out of the land of Egypt.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Try to imagine the situation. [br]God had brought them out. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now they’d made a golden calf [br]that had no connection with Yahweh. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The LORD had brought them out. [br]They said of the golden calf: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is Yahweh who brought us out. [br]They called it by His name: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Tomorrow there will be a festival [br]to the LORD.” to Yahweh. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They worshipped Him, in the [br]form of a golden calf. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “So the next day the people rose early [br]and sacrificed burnt offerings… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then the people sat down to eat and [br]drink, and then they got up to play.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 People do this today. We call an idol [br]using God’s name. But He's not the same. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's scary. I could take ten Christians in[br]a line and ask them to say who God is. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In some cases, they’ll have weird ideas. [br]They are not serving the same god. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not the God who brought [br]the people out of Egypt. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’ve made an image of a god [br]in their minds, that suits them: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Oh, no, my God isn’t like that. He’s[br]like this” “Then the LORD said to Moses, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Go down, because your people, [br]whom you brought up out of Egypt, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 have become corrupt. They have been [br]quick to turn away from what 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I commanded them and have made themselves [br]an idol cast in the shape of a calf. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They have bowed down to it and [br]sacrificed to it and have said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “This, Israel, is your god who brought [br]you out of the land of Egypt.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, God sees everything. He saw exactly [br]what they were doing. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “I have seen these people,” [br]the LORD said to Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “and they are a stiff-necked people.” [br]Notice what He said here: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Now leave me alone so that my anger may [br]burn against them that I may destroy them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then I will make you into a great nation.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When this happened, God wanted to destroy [br]Israel, those he saved out of Egypt. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’d slaughtered the Passover lambs. [br]He’d passed over their houses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’d went through the Red Sea. A few [br]weeks later, He was ready to destroy them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But He wouldn’t destroy all of them. Why? [br]Because He’d made a promise to Abraham. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He'll keep that – to make Abraham [br]into a great nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But whom will He keep the promise with? [br]He wanted to destroy the Israelites. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then He said, “I will make you, Moses, [br]into a great nation.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s important to understand this: God [br]gave a promise to Abraham. He'll keep it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God is a promise keeper. But with whom? [br]With Abraham’s descendants. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But not every descendant of Abraham [br]is a child of Abraham, in that sense. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Here, He was ready to destroy everyone [br]and then keep His promise with Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God is faithful and will do everything[br]He has said. But the question is: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Are you part of that or not? Are we [br]part of what God wants to do? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God will do what He’s promised to Abraham,[br]Isaac, Jacob, David and Jesus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But the question is, are we a part of [br]that? Let's learn from this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let’s have a healthy fear of God in our[br]lives, so we won't be cut off. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Many Israelites were cut off when these [br]events happened. Moses interceded: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “But Moses sought the favour of the [br]LORD his God. “LORD,” he said, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “why should your anger burn against your [br]people, whom you brought out of Egypt 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 with great power and a mighty hand? [br]Why should the Egyptians say, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “It was with evil intent that he brought [br]them out to kill them in the mountains and 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to wipe them off the face of the earth”?[br]Turn from your fierce anger; relent 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and do not bring disaster on your people.”[br]Moses interceded “Remember your servants 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, to whom [br]you swore by your own self: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “I will make your descendants as numerous [br]as the stars in the sky and I will give 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 your descendants all this land I [br]promised them… Then the Lord relented 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and did not bring on his people [br]the disaster he had threatened.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Reading how Moses interceded, [br]reminds us of something: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Wickedness was all over the earth [br]but Noah found favour. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God wanted to destroy the Israelites [br]but Moses interceded. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The whole world will be destroyed, [br]but Christ can save us from that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is a picture of Christ, who stood [br]in the gap for us. It's really beautiful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses intercedes and later [br]went down from the mountain: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “When Moses approached the camp and saw [br]the calf and dancing, his anger burned, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and he threw the tablets out of his [br]hands, breaking them into pieces…” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He also destroyed the golden calf. [br]Joshua was also there. We read: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “that day about three thousand [br]of the people died.” This is interesting. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What is the clear message here? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As soon as the Old Covenant law [br]was given, 3,000 people died. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As soon as the New Covenant Spirit [br]was given, 3,000 received new life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is all connected. [br]This all points to Christ. Exodus 32: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “The next day Moses said to the people, [br]“You have committed a great sin.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 By this time, around 3,000 people had [br]been killed. Moses said to the rest: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “You have committed a great sin. [br]But now I will go up to the LORD; 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 perhaps I can make atonement [br]for your sin.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So Moses went back to the LORD [br]and said, “Oh, what a great sin 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 these people have committed! [br]They have made themselves gods of gold. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But now, please forgive their sin” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then Moses interceded in an amazing [br]and beautiful way: “but if not, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 then blot me out of the book you have [br]written.” Moses really stood in the gap. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He said, “Either forgive them or blot me [br]out of the book.” What a man! “The LORD 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned [br]against me I will blot out of my book.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now, we read about the book of life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Books will be opened at the great [br]judgment, at the great judgment seat: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At the end of Revelation. I’ll talk about [br]these books later in this series. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's possible to be blotted out of the [br]book of life. People say today: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “If your name is written in the book [br]of life, everything is fine.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That’s true if your name is there and [br]stays there. But what is very clear here? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That a person can be blotted out of God's [br]book. Then God said to Moses: “Now go, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 lead the people to the place I spoke of, [br]and my angel will go before you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 However, when the time comes for me to [br]punish, I will punish them for their sin.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So about 3,000 people died right away. In [br]Lesson 3 (‘Called-out’), I explained this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The sinful generation didn’t enter the [br]promised land, but later punished. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's a very clear picture of our salvation[br]journey. Someone commented on Lesson 3 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (‘Called-out’): “Yeah, but you can’t use [br]the example of the promised land. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There were giants in the promised land.” [br]Yeah, we can use that example. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What will happen when Jesus sets up [br]God’s kingdom on earth? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He will need to deal with some things [br]at the beginning. We’ll take the land. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 People will submit under Jesus’ Lordship [br]and rule. All will bow down at His feet. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But there’ll be a time of judgment. The [br]righteousness will bring peace on earth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It'll be cleaned up. It won’t just happen, [br]from one day to another. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Those of us who are there, will receive [br]heavenly bodies and rule with him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There’ll be a time of cleaning up. Giants [br]in the land is a really good picture. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Other good pictures are possessing, [br]taking and subduing the land. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk about the promised land [br]in a later lesson. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But the Israelites didn’t enter because [br]of disobedience. God is very serious. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes, judgment come right away [br]and sometimes it’s delayed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This should really create a fear of God [br]in our lives, a healthy fear of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 After this God called Moses up the [br]mountain again. “The LORD said to Moses, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Cut out for yourself two stone tablets [br]like the first ones, and I’ll write on 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the tablets the words which were on [br]the first tablets which you broke.”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So there were two sets of tablets. [br]The first set of tablets were destroyed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then God called Moses up again [br]and said, “Cut out two new tablets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I will write the same on them.” [br]This is very interesting. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God wrote on the first tablets. Later, [br]Moses made new ones. God wrote on those. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This points forward to God writing [br]His law on new tablets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is writing His law on our hearts, [br]not with written code on stone tablets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He is writing on our hearts by His Spirit.[br]This is all about the gospel. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It points to Christ, to the time we are[br]living in and to God’s kingdom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Many years after Moses, Jeremiah [br]prophesied this: “The days are coming,” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 declares the LORD, “when I will make a [br]new covenant with the people of Israel 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and with the people of Judah. It will [br]not be like the covenant” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, it’s not just a continuation of the [br]Mosaic covenant. It’s different: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “It will not be like the covenant I made [br]with their ancestors when I took them 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 by the hand to lead them out of Egypt.” [br]Why will it be different? “because 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they broke my covenant, though I was [br]a husband to them,” declares the LORD.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, it’s a New Covenant. They broke [br]the other one. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “This is the covenant I'll make with the [br]people of Israel” With Israel the nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now, we’re grafted in and have received [br]it in Christ. I’ll talk about it later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “After that time” declares the LORD. “I'll[br]put my law in their minds and write it” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 on stone tablets? No, He’d already done [br]that and it hadn’t worked. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law, written externally, brought [br]death. It didn't work. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You cannot obey a law as an [br]external written code. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's to be written on the heart. Or [br]it won't work: “write it on their hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'll be their God, and they'll be my [br]people. No longer will they teach 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 their neighbour, or say to one [br]another, “Know the LORD”” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We don’t need a human priest in order [br]to have a relationship with God: "because 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 they will all know me, from the least of [br]them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For I will forgive their wickedness [br]and will remember their sins no more.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Ezekiel prophesied similar things around [br]the same time. He added some things: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “I will give them an undivided HEART [br]and put a new spirit in them;” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, we read about God writing [br]the law on our hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We read about an undivided heart [br]and a new spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “I will remove from them their [br]heart of stone” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 - God won’t write His law on a heart [br]of stone. He will remove that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He'll then write on a new heart by the [br]Spirit - “and give them a heart of flesh.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is not a license for us to sin: “Then[br]they will follow my decrees and be 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 careful to keep my laws. They will [br]be my people, and I will be their God.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God writes His laws on our hearts, [br]so that we can obey Him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not so we can continue sinning. He did it,[br]so we can be holy as our Father is holy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now you may kiss your bride. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now you can enter into a covenant [br]and be one flesh in a marriage. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can’t do that if your heart [br]is not transformed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It has to come from your heart, [br]not from an external law: “You may not….” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No, we need a changed heart. [br]We’ll look at that later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I have some more slides here[br]before we shortly have a break. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to talk more here about [br]Israel as a nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The fact is, the law of Moses was [br]never actually given to Gentiles. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was given to Israel as a nation. [br]These are not laws for me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They were for Israel as a nation. But in [br]Christ, I am grafted into the promise. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I am not part of the physical [br]nation of Israel. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But I have been grafted into the [br]promise in a spiritual sense. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I talked about in previous lessons. So[br]now, we’re a holy people. We’re called out. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re God's possession. But that doesn’t [br]mean that God has rejected Israel. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to talk about that before we move [br]on. Romans 11:25-29 is very important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul writes: “Brothers and sisters, here [br]is a mystery I want you to understand. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It'll keep you from being proud.” But [br]many people have rejected the Jews. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’re very proud: “We’re now the [br]people of God. I am a holy nation.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But it's only because of Christ that [br]you are. So please don't be proud. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Remember this: “Part of Israel” not all of[br]Israel. There are people who love Jesus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They are born again and follow [br]the Messiah Jesus. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Part of Israel has refused to obey [br]God.” We see this today. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “That will continue until the full number [br]of non-Jews has entered God's kingdom.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, at the moment they still reject [br]God as a whole. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This will continue until we as [br]Gentiles have come in. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This will create jealousy and so on. [br]“And so all Israel will be saved.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There’s a hardness right now. But there’ll[br]be a time when all Israel will be saved. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “It is written, “The One who saves [br]will come from Mount Zion. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He will remove sin from Jacob.” [br]God has said that. He’ll do it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Here is my covenant with them. [br]I will take away their sins.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, this covenant has been given [br]to the Jews. This is for our good: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “As far as the gospel is concerned, [br]the people of Israel are enemies.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So many of the Jews are enemies. [br]They're not in the New Covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God’s laws are not yet written [br]on their hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They haven’t received the spirit, nor are [br]obeying God's laws as a whole. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’re enemies according to the gospel. [br]“But as far as God's choice is concerned, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the people of Israel are loved.” [br]They’re still called. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “That is because of God's promises [br]to the founders of our nation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God does not take back his gifts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He does not change his mind [br]about those he has chosen.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, the nation of Israel is still [br]chosen and called. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God’ll establish a new covenant [br]with them, in their hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But right now, this belongs to us. [br]Each one of us can receive it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A new covenant where the law is written [br]on the heart. I will be their God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They'll be my people. Then they'll follow [br]my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 All will know me and I will [br]remember their sins no more. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re talking here about [br]following God’s law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, should we go back and do everything [br]God spoke to Israel as a nation? No. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That law was given to Israel as a nation. [br]I'm not a Jew and never have been. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm a Gentile. But I'm following Christ [br]and His word. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We need to understand that there [br]is a change in the law. Hebrews 7: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We read here that Jesus is in the [br]priestly order of Melchizedek. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There is a change in the priesthood. [br]Please read it yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For when the priesthood is changed, [br]the law must be changed also.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because of this change, we’re not bound [br]to the written code given to Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Instead, we’re bound to the law of Christ.[br]The law of God's written on our hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let’s read a few verses from Romans. [br]There’ll be a break shortly. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “A person is not a Jew who is one only [br]outwardly, nor is circumcision merely 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 outward and physical. No, a person is a [br]Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is circumcision of the heart, by the [br]Spirit, not by the written code.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That was the Pharisees’ problem. [br]Jesus said this to them: “Woe to you, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 teachers of the law and Pharisees, [br]you hypocrites! You clean the outside of 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the cup and dish, but inside they are [br]full of greed and self-indulgence. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside [br]of the cup and dish, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and then the outside also will be clean.” [br]Our hearts need to be transformed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law is not written on books or [br]tablets, but on the heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Of course, we have a physical Bible. [br]God is speaking to us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But we are loosed from the law of Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk more about that after the break [br]and read more of Romans 6 and 7. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In Romans 7, we read: “But now, by dying[br]to what once bound us (the law), 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we have been released from the law so [br]that we serve in the new way of the Spirit 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and not in the old way of the written [br]code.” We’ve been released from the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now we can serve in a new way. [br]The covenant with Moses was everlasting. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 However, it has changed (in Christ). [br]It's not written on stone tablets. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s being written on our hearts, not as [br]a written code. The new way of the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 From law to grace. From death to life. [br]I’ll talk more about that after the break. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's extremely important. I believe that [br]this will set you free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’ll understand that you don't need to [br]be under the law anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can be under grace. You can walk in [br]freedom and listen to the Spirit in you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So let's take a break here [Music] We’re [br]back again. This’ll be very interesting. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I hope you're ready for this. We’ll read [br]in Romans. We see the cross here. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I already talked about it in Romans 6. [br]But we’ll read it again. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Bear the law of Moses in mind: “Don’t [br]touch this. Don’t eat that food etc.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Romans 6: “Or don’t you know that all of [br]us who were baptized into Christ Jesus 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 were baptized into his death?” So, a [br]death takes place when we are baptized. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re baptized into Christ’s death. [br]Death is important. Bear that in mind. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “We were therefore buried with him [br]through baptism into death in order that, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 just as Christ was raised from the dead [br]through the glory of the Father, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 we too may live a new life.” We’re [br]baptized into His death. That’s important. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Why? Because we’re only bound [br]to a law, as long as you live. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But when we die, we’re loosed from that[br]law. Romans 6 and 7 focus on that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Because anyone who had died [br]has been set free from sin.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this is not only about sin. [br]The law is connected with sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Here’s something important. Romans 7: [br]“Do you not know, brothers and sisters 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 - for I am speaking to those who know [br]the law - that the law has authority 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 over someone only as long as that person[br]lives? For example, by law a married woman 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 is bound to her husband as long as he is [br]alive, but if her husband dies, she is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 released from the law that binds her to [br]him.” Why does Paul write about this? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Romans 6 - 8 is about the new life and [br]freedom from the law of sin and death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul not only teaches about marriage [br]and divorce, but also about the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s an example to show this: We’re [br]bound to the law as long as we live. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But we can read beforehand that we're [br]baptized into Christ, into His death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The baptism is a death. The law was [br]never given to me as a Gentile. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm not physically part of Israel. [br]I was without hope in this world. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I was lost without hope and without God. [br]But the law is also spiritual. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In that sense, it’s working in everyone. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When we start to sin, [br]you become a slave to that sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law is at work in a way [br]we don’t realise. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 To take an example, imagine that [br]you’re going to stay at someone’s house. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The person says, “Hey, you can stay at [br]my house. Here's the kitchen. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Just take some breakfast in the morning. [br]Here are all the things you can take. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can eat anything you want. But [br]you’re not allowed to open this closet. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s very important [br]that you don’t open it.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If someone tells you not to [br]do something, what happens? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’ll think, “Why can’t I [br]open that closet?” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When we’re told not to do something, [br]something happens inside us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For example, imagine a man [br]going to a Walmart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Before he goes in, he repeats to himself, [br]“Don’t look with lust on a woman”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What will happen? He’ll go in [br]and continue thinking of that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In the end, he’ll look at a woman. It does[br]not work. That law doesn't bring freedom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Christ brings freedom. If we’re bound to[br]the law of sin and death, it works in us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re bound to that law as long as [br]we live. That's why we need to die. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Read Romans 6 about dying to [br]the law. We’re dead to the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We're not under the law. We are freed [br]or loosed from the law. We read here: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For sin shall no longer be your master” [br]Sin won’t have authority over us. Why not? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because the law only has authority [br]over a person as long as he lives. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But in baptism, we die. [br]It's no longer we who live, but Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So the law of sin and death [br]has no authority over me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For sin shall no longer be [br]your master” Why not? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “because you are not under the law” [br]You’re dead to the law “but under grace” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, the law came with Moses. [br]Grace and truth came with Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Many people try to follow Christ [br]by trying to keep the law of Moses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They don’t realise that they’ve [br]been loosed from that law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That's when they were baptized into [br]Christ. They entered into a new covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s not about the written code written [br]on stones, what's written on your heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That’s where true freedom is. Let’s move [br]on: Under the law, sin was our master. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Under grace, you're baptized into Christ. [br]You’re dead to the law, alive in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’re free from the law and the sin [br]that once kept you enslaved. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you’re a slave to sin, [br]you’re still not under grace. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Remember that true grace [br]is not a cover up for sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 True Grace empowers us to [br]live a new life, free from sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can still be a Christian [br]and have your mind set on Egypt. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That’s because you’ve never really left. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's time to leave and [br]live a new life by the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’m saying here that many Christians [br]are still under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’re still trying to obey [br]the law instead of living by the spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They’re not living [br]the new way of the spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Their minds are still set on the old ways [br]of Egypt. They’re never really left. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They haven’t experienced the freedom, [br]with the law written on their hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The ministry we bring, [br]should set people free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul wrote about this ministry [br]we’ve been given. 2 Corinthians 3: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “You show that you're a letter from [br]Christ, the result of our ministry, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 written not with ink but with the Spirit [br]of the living God, not on tablets of stone 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but on tablets of human hearts.” Our [br]ministry's different from Moses' law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That was the old covenant written on [br]stones. Now, we have a new ministry. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A new way. God’s laws are written on the [br]heart by the spirit of the Living God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul continues: “Now if the ministry [br]that brought death” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What happened when the law of Moses [br]was given? 3,000 died right away. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 His ministry brought death that "was [br]engraved in letters on stone, came with 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 glory, so that the Israelites could[br]not look steadily at the face of Moses 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because of its glory, transitory though it[br]was, will not this ministry of the Spirit 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 be even more glorious?” Of course. “If[br]the ministry that brought condemnation” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 bringing death and condemnation “was [br]glorious, how much more glorious is 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 the ministry that brings righteousness!”[br]We have the ministry of the new covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This doesn't bring condemnation. [br]It can truly cleanse our conscience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It can bring righteousness. Then [br]we’re free, not to live in condemnation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re free from the law, free [br]to live by the spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You need to receive this through [br]the new birth, by faith. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm going to share a personal testimony [br]and experience shortly: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Therefore, since we have such a hope, [br]we are very bold. We are not like Moses, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 who would put a veil over his face to [br]prevent the Israelites from seeing the end 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of what was passing away.” So, the [br]law of Moses was passing away. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses’ face was veiled, so the Israelites [br]wouldn’t see it. "But their minds were 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 made dull, for to this day the same veil [br]remains when the old covenant is read.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Also today when people read about [br]Moses and the old Covenant, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 there’s a veil over their faces. [br]So, they don’t understand it: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “It has not been removed, because [br]only in Christ is it taken away.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Many read the law in the Bible. They have[br]a blindness. They don’t understand it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Only in Christ, is the blindness taken [br]away. Some people have a fear. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They say: “We need law. If we don’t, [br]people will live in sin.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But what happened with the law? Did [br]the law help people to live holy lives? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Did the Israelites live holy lives because[br]they had the law? No. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But God gave a new spirit and [br]wrote a new law in our hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, we’ll obey God's decree and follow His[br]laws. How do we live that holy life? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Not by following Moses, but by following [br]Christ by the spirit. Paul continues: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, [br]the veil is taken away. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the [br]Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Freedom. You need to receive this by [br]the Spirit. Here's some examples. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I heard the gospel for the first time [br]from my friend Tommy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I told him, he was brainwashed. I couldn't[br]see it. I said, he was brainwashed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was wrong. He was in a cult. [br]He should be careful. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I thought that he was crazy [br]and brainwashed. I thought: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I needed to help him and save him out [br]of that cult. I didn't understand. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A few days later, I got born again. [br]My eyes opened. The veil was taken away. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then my father told me, “Torben, [br]you’re brainwashed. It’s a cult.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 My father couldn’t see it. Why? Because [br]he still had a a veil over his face. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He couldn’t see it. I told him, “Father, [br]you’re saying what I said to Tommy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But it's the truth. I see it now.” Before [br]I was blinded, like my father was blinded. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But some years later, he repented. [br]Then he saw it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This happens when someone truly repents [br]and is born again. Their eyes open. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 However, my mind was still set on Egypt [br]for the first years of my Christian life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I did not understand that I had buried [br]the old life in the baptism. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That I had died to the law of sin and [br]death, and wasn’t bound to it anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I was free from sin. I didn't need [br]to be a slave anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 During the first six years of my [br]Christian life, I was repenting. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law was written on my heart.[br]I had received a new spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Many things in my life changed. [br]But in some areas, I was not free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I kept falling into the same sins. I felt,[br]I was becoming a slave of sin again. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I was not free. Then one day I read [br]Romans 6. I really understood it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God revealed it to me by the Spirit: [br]“Hey, I'm dead to the law! I'm free! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I don't need to sin anymore! [br]The law is spiritual!” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, this broke down something [br]wrong inside me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I realised, I wasn’t not under the [br]law of sin and death anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm free to follow Christ. This gave [br]me a totally new freedom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I've been free ever since for many years.[br]It doesn't mean that I'm sinless. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We can still do wrong things. [br]But then we feel convicted right away. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We ask God for forgiveness. He’s[br]faithful to forgive us. Then we move on. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm not bound. I don’t ask forgiveness, [br]to repeat the sin 2 weeks later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I don’t feel like a slave to sin. No. [br]I feel free. I'm not focused on the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm don’t do into a mall, tell myself [br]repeatedly “Don't look at woman” and fail. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm free to go into the mall. I focus [br]on Christ. I don’t think like this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Don't touch! Don't watch! Don't do [br]this or that!” I'm free to follow Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You need a revelation so you can [br]really experience that freedom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You can love Jesus, walk by the spirit,[br]occasionally doing something wrong. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I don't have the ten commandments [br]written in my phone or on a poster. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Why not? Because I'm not under [br]the law. It's written in my heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm following Christ and obeying [br]His words. I read His words. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But if I do, say or think something wrong,[br]I feel it right away: “Oh, I know it.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No one needs to teach me to know the Lord [br]and to do different things. I know Him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I feel it in my heart. Why? The law’s [br]written on my heart. I am convicted. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 From this perspective, the Christian [br]life is actually really easy: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't follow the law of Moses. Listen [br]to Christ and obey His word. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Listen to the Spirit, God has [br]given you. Follow the Holy Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If Holy Spirit says, “Don't say that. [br]Don't look at that. Don’t look at this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don’t look at that” then stop doing it. [br]Listen to the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let the Spirit guide you through [br]the wilderness toward the promised land. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let the Holy Spirit guide you. [br]God speaks to us about different things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We really need to follow God [br]and live in that freedom. 1 Corinthians: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “He has made us competent [br]as ministers of a new covenant, not 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the letter but of the Spirit; for the[br]letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The letter kills, [br]but the Spirit gives life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What happened when the law was given [br]on Mount Sinai? 3,000 were killed. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What happened when the Spirit [br]was given on Pentecost in Jerusalem? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Three thousand received new life. The[br]letter kills but the Spirit gives life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We read that in Acts 2: “Those who [br]accepted the message were baptized, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and about three thousand were [br]added to their number that day.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When did that happen? On Pentecost, [br]Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 At that time, Israelites from all over [br]Israel came to Jerusalem to celebrate: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The giving of the law. It happened on [br]that day, not a week or month before. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, when we read about Moses and the [br]law, we read about temporary things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 These are just pictures that point [br]to Christ and the New Covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Today, we are under the New Covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sadly, many people today prefer [br]following the law than the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They don't have the Spirit. So, they [br]follow the law. You need to be born again. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You need the Holy Spirit. It must come [br]from your heart. Walking by the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Live a life with a clean conscience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you step out of God's plan, [br]you’ll feel it in your heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then you must return to the narrow road. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But if you stop listening to the Spirit [br]and go into the law, you’ll become bound. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’ll walk away from Christ and the road [br]that leads to righteousness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I've seen so many people start in the [br]spirit but end in the flesh under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We are loosed from the law. [br]I don't keep the Sabbath. People tell me, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “You need to keep the Sabbath.” [br]They only read some of the verses. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What did God say? Keep the Sabbath. [br]Have one day of rest per week. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No, he also told them to work six days. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But most people I know who are eager [br]to keep Sabbath, don’t work six days. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They work five days. Why do they do that? [br]How can people say, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Oh, we keep the Sabbath. This is [br]our Sabbath” if they only work five days? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God didn’t say that. He told them [br]to work six days and take one day off. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This law was never given to Gentile. [br]It was given to the Israelites. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This doesn’t mean, I can’t learn from it. [br]It is important. I do some things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes the Holy Spirit tells me to rest[br]one day. I have a day that I take off. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I don't work seven days and then start [br]a new week of seven days. We need rest. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this is not because of the Mosaic [br]law. It’s not an obligation or a law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s nothing to do with righteousness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It just shows us that God want us [br]also to rest and take time with him. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't be too busy. We need to [br]understand this rightly. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But some people are so fixed on [br]keeping the Mosaic law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But the Sabbath law said that people [br]shouldn’t light a fire on that day. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Do you do that? At that time, they [br]lit fires using wood. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Do you turn on the oven on the Sabbath? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you start going down that road, [br]you’ll suddenly become bound. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you keep a little of the law, [br]you’re obligated to keep it all. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Christ kept it for us, to set us free from[br]the law: Not that we could live in sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was so we could walk by the Spirit in [br]freedom. Listen to this. Romans 2: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “All who sin apart from the law will [br]also perish apart from the law, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and all who sin under the law [br]will be judged by the law.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, if we sin apart from the law [br]we’ll perish apart from the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If we sin under the law, we’ll be [br]judged by the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This refers to Jews and Gentiles. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For it is not those who hear the law [br]who are righteous in God's sight, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but it is those who obey the law [br]who will be declared righteous. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have [br]the law” as the law wasn’t given to us 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “do by nature the things required by the [br]law, they are a law for themselves, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 even though they do not have the law.) 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They show that the requirements of [br]the law are written on their hearts” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 How do we obey the law? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Love God with all your heart and love your[br]neighbour as yourself. What is the law? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What is the heart of the law?[br]“written on their hearts, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 their consciences also bearing witness, [br]and their thoughts sometimes 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 accusing them and at other times [br]even defending them.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This is extremely important. [br]Gentiles are not under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It was never given to them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’ll still be judged even if we’re [br]not under the law - if we live in sin. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But Gentiles who are born again, have [br]the Christ's law written on the heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They have a conscience. [br]The conscience bears witness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Sometimes our thoughts accuse us [br]and other times they defend us. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'm free. I'm free to eat things. [br]I don’t think about the Sabbath. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When I was born again, [br]the law was written on my heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I never felt when I made food on a[br]Sabbath (or Saturday): “I can’t do this.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ve never felt that I can’t do a [br]kickstart or training on that day. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ve never felt condemned in that [br]area. It's not written on my heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s the same with head coverings. [br]We need to understand the context. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk about that later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I've never met anyone who'd just received [br]the Holy Spirit and God’s love, saying: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “The Holy Spirit says that I need to cover[br]my head. I can’t work on the Sabbath. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I have to do this. I can’t play cards. [br]I have to wear a long dress.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I never met someone who said that [br]that is written on their heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then they read the law and get confused: [br]“Oh no! I need to do this and that.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Condemnation comes. [br]Then they try to keep the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This leads them away from the [br]pure and narrow road in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They try to do this, not to do that, [br]not to eat that and all the rest. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But I have been convicted [br]in my heart many times. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I had said, done or looked [br]at something wrong. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For example, after I got born again, [br]I slept with my girlfriend. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I felt so condemned: What have I done? [br]Red light, red light, sin, sin, sin! 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I knew it was sin. I did not need [br]to read it in the Bible. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I hadn’t read that yet, [br]but it was written on my heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This happens with so many other things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For example, if I say something wrong [br]or reply in anger, I feel condemned. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It happened once when I was in jail. You [br]can read my book, if you haven’t already. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 There was a nasty guard in jail, [br]who was not nice. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They came in and checked us, [br]when we were sitting in there. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They scanned our card for their records. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 For a long time, we’d been allowed [br]to leave some food to eat later. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But he suddenly changed all the rules [br]and they took all our food away. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He was nasty. I remember sitting there [br]in my cell. He opened my cell and came in. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He wanted to scan my card. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He had just taken some food away [br]or something like that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I felt irritated. He said, “Give me your [br]card” [Showing irritation] “Here” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He said, “Don't be so nasty.” [br]I just took the card out of his hand. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I was just irritated. Then he moved on. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 As soon as I reacted like that,[br]I felt that it was wrong of me. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I asked God to forgive me [br]for reacting like that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I have many examples like that. [br]It’s because of my conscience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But other times, I stand up, [br]preach and do things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then my conscience bears [br]witness that all is good. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But other times, I feel that I [br]shouldn’t have done something. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I've seen that happening [br]with other people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When anyone is at the start of their [br]new life, they have a clean conscience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The Holy Spirit teaches, helps [br]and purifies them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But then I see them suddenly turning [br]away from that, going under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They start trying to keep the rules [br]and guidelines, and get confused. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That doesn’t lead to holiness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Suddenly they feel condemned, [br]whereas before they did not: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Oh, I cannot drive. I cannot wear a [br]dress. I have to cover my head. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I cannot do this or that.” They start [br]to feel condemned all the time. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Why? Because they're going [br]back under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They don't know that they're in a New [br]Covenant and are free from the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I want to do a Q&A video very soon. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I know that many people are asking [br]questions about this topic. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Please come with your questions. [br]I'll do a Q&A video. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Lesson 6 will be about Hagar and Sarah. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll talk much more about the spirit, the [br]flesh, the law, grace and freedom etc. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll go over all of this, because [br]it’s new for many of you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’re saying, “Torben, [br]what are you saying? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Are you saying that we don't need to [br]obey the law of Moses?” Yes, I am. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Are you saying that we’re just free to [br]live the way we want to?” No, I'm not. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You're free to walk by the spirit. [br]You’re free to listen to your conscience. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Keep your conscience clean, [br]above all things. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If your conscience starts to condemn [br]you, do something about it. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But don’t do it in your own strength. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Ask God to give you a revelation [br]of who you are in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Listen to these verses in 1 John. [br]This lesson is almost finished. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But this is important: “Dear friends, [br]now we are children of God, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and what we will be has not [br]yet been made known. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But we know that when Christ [br]appears, we shall be like him, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for we shall see him as he is. All who [br]have this hope in him” That is our hope. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’re invited to a wedding. We, [br]the bride, need to purify ourselves 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “purify themselves, just as he is pure. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Everyone who sins breaks the law; [br]in fact, sin is lawlessness. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But you know that he appeared so [br]that he might take away our sins. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And in him is no sin. No one who [br]lives in him keeps on sinning.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That is the secret. Live in Christ. “No [br]one who lives in him keeps on sinning.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 This doesn’t mean that we can never sin. [br]But we are not to keep on sinning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That’s not how we live. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “No one who continues to sin has [br]either seen him or known him.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Many people who sit in church [br]buildings, don’t really know Him 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 - they keep on sinning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Dear children, do not let [br]anyone lead you astray. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The one who does what [br]is right is righteous” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's not so much about what we believe, [br]but what we do “just as he is righteous. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The one who does what is sinful [br]is of the devil, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because the devil has been [br]sinning from the beginning. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The reason the Son of God appeared [br]was to destroy the devil’s work. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 No one who is born of God will continue to[br]sin, because God's seed remains in them;” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God’s law is written on our hearts. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 His seed is the Spirit we’ve now [br]received, the word of God. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “they cannot go on sinning because [br]they have been born of God.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's not about praying the sinner's [br]prayer. It's about the new birth. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “This is how we know who the [br]children of God are 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 and who the children of the devil are:” [br]The way we live. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Anyone who does not do what [br]is right is not God’s child, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 nor is anyone who does not love [br]their brother and sister.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, let’s close this lesson. [br]What do we need to do? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Repent and be baptized, [br]and receive the Holy Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then: Know that you are free from [br]the law of sin and death. Pray. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Ask God to reveal this truth to you. [br]You need to live it by faith. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It’s a revelation. I am free. [br]Yes. I don't need to sin anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You are dead to the law. You are free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Know, you're free from the law of sin and [br]death that once bound and enslaved you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Believe it. Understand that Christ [br]has set you free. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now walk by the Spirit in a new life. [br]Paul wrote so clearly about the law: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Though I am free and belong to no one, [br]I have made myself 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 a slave to everyone, to win [br]as many as possible.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now, he wrote something interesting here: [br]“To the Jews, I became like a Jew, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 to win the Jews. To those under the law, [br]I became like one under the law 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (though I myself am not under the law)” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul wrote that he became like them [br]when he was with them. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He became like them to win them. [br]But he wasn’t under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Me, neither. I'm not under the law. [br]I'm free from the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You're free from the law. We are [br]free from the law. Why? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Because we’re dead to the law.[br]The law bound us as long we lived. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But it's no longer I who live, it’s Christ[br]who lives. I'm dead to the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What does that mean, to not be [br]under the law? Are we without law? No. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul continues: “To those not having the [br]law, I became like one not having the law 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 (though I am not free from God's law [br]but am under Christ’s law)” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Paul wrote in one place that [br]he wasn’t under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 In another place, he said he wasn’t free [br]from God's law, but under Christ’s law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 What does that mean? We're not under the [br]law of sin and death, that Moses brought. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But we’re under the law of Christ. [br]What is that? 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That is to listen to Him and His word. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Law is not only written commandments [br]written in the Bible. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It is what Jesus said. [br]Read what Jesus said. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Did he say, “If you love me, keep what [br]Moses said.” No, He didn’t say that. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 He said “If you love me, [br]keep my commands…” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Some people are very eager [br]to keep the Mosaic law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 They keep the feasts, the food laws, [br]the Sabbath and the dress code. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But they are not eager to keep Jesus’ law:[br]Love your neighbour as yourself. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Go out and make disciples. [br]Preach the gospel. Obey Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “If you love me, keep my commands.” Jesus [br]said. I need to finish the lesson here: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “So the law” with Moses “was [br]our guardian until Christ came 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 that we might be justified by faith. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Now that this faith has come, [br]we are no longer under a guardian.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We're now in faith. “So in Christ Jesus, [br]you're all children of God through faith, 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 for all of you who were baptized into Christ [br]have clothed yourselves with Christ.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We can say it like this: You are [br]baptized into Christ’s death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Therefore, you're no longer bound to the [br]law. You don't need a guardian anymore. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You are now in Christ. “There is neither [br]Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If you belong to Christ, [br]then you are Abraham’s seed”. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 So, I’ll finish the lesson now. [br]Old Covenant (Moses): Until Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Law on stone tablets. Written code. [br]Brought death. Could not obey the old way. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 God rejected the whole generation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Did not inherit the Promised Land but [br]Joshua brought the next generation in. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Joshua’s and Jesus’ [br]names are directly related. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Moses could not bring them [br]into the promised land but Joshua did. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law cannot bring you into the [br]kingdom of God but Jesus can. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 The law is good if we use it the rightly: [br]to reveal sin so we can come to Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But in baptism, we die to the law. New [br]Covenant (Jesus): Everlasting covenant. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Law is written on hearts of flesh. [br]New way by the Spirit. Brought life. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Can now obey in the new way. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We’ll one day enter into [br]the Promised Land: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 If we are victorious and [br]continue in Christ. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Jesus fulfilled the law’s requirements. [br]We are now: God's treasured possession. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A kingdom of priests. A holy nation. [br]But it's not complete yet. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We will be those things one day [br]when he comes. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then we’ll rule with Him here on earth. [br]A few more verses: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “Therefore, there is no condemnation [br]for those who are in Christ Jesus… 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 because through Christ Jesus the law [br]of the Spirit who gives life 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 has set us free from the law [br]and sin and death.” 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When you’re in Christ, you are under the[br]law of the spirit written on your heart. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 You’re set free from the law of sin [br]and death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 “For what the law was powerless to do [br]because it was weakened by the flesh, God 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 did by sending his own Son in the likeness[br]of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 And so he condemned sin in the flesh, [br]in order that the righteous requirement 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 of the law might be fully met in us, [br]who do not live according to the flesh 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 but according to the Spirit.” [br]So, get born again. Live by the spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Listen to the Holy Spirit. [br]When your heart condemns you, repent. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Don't try to live by the law of Moses [br]and go under the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 That’ll bring condemnation and death. [br]Live in the New Covenant, by the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Obey Jesus. If you love Him, [br]keep His commands and you will live. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I’ll pray for you. God, I thank You [br]for everyone who’s seen this. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I pray that this will bring freedom to [br]them. Freedom from the law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Freedom to live a holy life [br]as You are holy. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Freedom to live by the Spirit. I pray [br]that everyone will understand this: 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 When we are baptized, Jesus, we [br]are baptized into Your death. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 It's no longer I who live, [br]but it's You who lives. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 A woman is only bound to the law, [br]as long as that person is alive. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 But when we die, we’re loosed [br]from that law. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 We're free to be married to somebody [br]else. Christ Jesus is our bridegroom. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Help us to purify ourselves. [br]Purify us by the Spirit. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Help us to walk by the Spirit, [br]without condemnation. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Then, one day, Jesus, we’ll inherit this [br]earth together with You. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Thank You for what You're doing. I pray [br]that it will bring freedom to people. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Come and speak to people out there [br]through this. In the name of Jesus, Amen. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 See you next time. Come with [br]your questions. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 I'll do a Q&A video soon where I will [br]answer some of them. God bless you. 9:59:59.000,9:59:59.000 Let's live the new life by the Spirit [br]that God has for all of us. Bye bye.
