My name is Merick, and I'm located in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.

I'm originally from East Africa, Tanzania, 
and I came over here back in 2007.

Since that time, after about five years passed, I then started to notice some changes.

I was experiencing pain in 
my stomach, a lot of pain,

especially when I ate beans, 
tomato or lemon juice.

I was experiencing a lot of pain, 
so I lived with it for a while.

And then I decided to go and see a doctor for it and they made an appointment.

On the day of the procedure,
where they put a camera in me,

the result came that I had gas - 
there was too much gas in me.

They called it gastritis, 
which caused a lot of pain.

Even sometimes I felt heart pain.

Before, I was thinking it was a heart issue - as if I was about to have a heart attack.

Then, I was experiencing a lot of headaches.

So they put me on medicine 
and I was taking medicine

to reduce gas because there is no medicine to heal that kind of situation.

I continued to take medicine.

At the end of the day, I thought, ‘I'm going to keep taking medicine always.’

Then I said, ‘No, I can trust in God because I know God is able to bring change in me.’

And I kept on praying - but I was still experiencing the pain in me.

I quit taking the medicine, so whenever 
I ate those kinds of food...

Because I couldn’t stop eating the food they told me to stop,

which I was eating since I was in Africa.

I experienced that pain 
for almost eight years.

One day I was on social media - and I knew Brother Chris since he was at The SCOAN.

I discovered he came back to UK, 
and I continued to follow him.

I know he’s a good, humble man of God.

And I saw how people connected with him and how he was encouraging them.

So I was very blessed with 
his encouragement.

I continued to encourage myself with whatever he encouraged me.

I continued to connect and 
encourage myself with it.

And then I saw a link about 
how to connect for prayer.

I know the Spirit of God was directing me to follow that link and submit my prayer request.

When I sent my request, I was invited to join the Interactive Prayer on May 4, 2024.

I connected to the service, 
waiting for Brother Chris to come.

So while I was connected, 
it was the time of testimonies.

I was connected, listening as people testified to what God had done in their lives.

The last person, a lady from South Africa,

was testifying about the same problem 
I was going through at that moment.

That is what she was testifying.

I knew that it was a divine appointment, and I knew I was receiving my healing

right there after I believed that if God healed her, He would heal me too.

So I continued in prayer, believing ‘today is my day’ and I would receive my healing.

As Brother Chris came, we joined in prayer. We prayed and prayed.

And from that moment, 
I started feeling change in me.

I started to feel peace. 
I didn’t feel any kind of pain.

And after prayer, I went and ate that kind of food that would usually cause me pain,

and I never felt pain anymore - until today!

God is able and He did it for me.

When I eat beans or any kind of food that contains lemon, tomato or stuff like that,

I don't feel pain anymore.

Or if I drink passionfruit or orange juice, 
I don’t have pain anymore.

So there is no pain anymore.

And actually, I used to have 
a hard time sleeping.

When I ate, I would have 
to sleep on one side.

Because sometimes I would 
experience reflux when I slept.

I would have to use a pillow to 
elevate my head when I slept.

But God did it for me.

I want to tell people - our God is wonderful 
and He’s a loving Father.

He knows what we’re feeling. 
He knows our pain. He knows our cry.

And He always sets up divine appointments for us.

He always feels what we feel.

Nobody can feel the way we feel - as God.

No one can see our tears - as God.

So God always has compassion on us.

As a child of God, you also have to believe.

If God did it for me, He will do it for you too. He is a good God!
