Hi,
I'm Andrea U-Shi Chang,
StrongFirst master instructor,
and this is SFG level one,
Raphael Puletz.
We're going to show you a version
of the goblet squat where we have the bell in a different position at the top.
It's a bottoms up goblet squat and mimics the feeling in the front squat,
a barbell front squat.
So, we're gonna get our bells up,
and then we're gonna turn our bells
upside down-
ish,
diagonal.
The bell handle will be against your chest.
OK,
when we turn it upside down,
we're shifting our thumbs like this,
holding the bell,
gripping the handle,
and
compressing.
So, he's gonna crush,
grip the handle
and the bell,
and he's gonna push his elbows together
and push his elbows to the ceiling as he descends into
the goblet squat.
His elbows will not touch his legs
and he'll come back up and finish.
How was that?
A lot of attention to the upper chest and core.
Awesome!
Give a shot and see what you think.
