Hey! The OnePlus 13R has arrived. It's been released together with the OnePlus 13 and Digital Walker had a preselling for this phone. What are the specs of this? Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It's just a one generation older flagship chip of Qualcomm. 50MP triple camera lens, except that it doesn't have the Hasselblad color calibration. Its battery is big at 6,000mAh. And with how thin this box is, expect that there'll be no charger. More details and price after this quick intro. (introduction music) The OnePlus 13R with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, its regular price would be Php38,990. And right now, it's on sale, the same with the early bird price at Php35,990. You can buy this in Digital Walker and on the link on the description box that I'll post below. Now one thing I noticed in it is that this phone is very rectangle-like. Its sides are kind of edgy. But one thing I liked about it is the aluminum frame feeling very premium on the sides. This one is being protected by a glass back finish and a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection in front. What's nice on the camera bump is that every single ring isn't protruding, and its back being very flat. Its camera bump is also not thick. One thing that's maybe important to you is that it has an eSIM support. And this phone comes running with OxygenOS 15 inside Android 15. Like I told you, this one is being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it's just one generation older premium flagship of Qualcomm. And it's got 1.81 million points. This is the breakdown. Still goods. Its loop score is 4,387. And it has 77.8% stability on Wild Life Extreme. And this is the score that I got on CPU benchmarking. And this is on the GPU benchmarking. Its thermals are kind of messy and it throttled to 73% of its best performance. One of the things that you'll like here is its big battery. It is a silicon carbon 6,000mAh which can support up to 80W fast charging. Sad to say, there's no charger. But based on my testing, its battery is more durable then the OnePlus 13. On the OnePlus 13R, we got 21 hours and 27 minutes of screen-on time based on 50% brightness and 60Hz of screen refresh rate. Let's now talk about its display. This one has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It has 120Hz of screen refresh rate and its maximum brightness is 4,500 nits. Its screen-to-body ratio is 92%. And it also has Ultra HDR Image support. One thing that you'll like here is its great display. Probably one of the better ones that I've tried on this price range. And browsing your favorite photos on gallery, swiping on shorts and reels, expect it to give you a really smooth experience. And if you're watching videos on this phone on YouTube and Netflix, because it has a Level 1 Widevine Security Level, expect a really good quality on this phone because the colors are punchy and you're definitely set to enjoy this one. This phone has stereo speakers, two holes on the bottom and one hole on the top. Let's just quickly check how loud its sounds are. (APT by Bruno Mars and Rosé) Its sounds are loud, it's just that it's not as loud as the OnePlus 13. So we've played three games here, Genshin Impact, Farlight 84, and Call of Duty Mobile. On Genshin Impact, my game experience was good. I expected it from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It was really set to perform in games. And like triple A games like Genshin Impact, its gameplay is good. One thing I liked about it is that its gameplay was smooth, you won't feel much lags, except if you're in a heavy battle, there are just very, very minor frame drops. But sometimes you won't almost notice it during an intense gameplay. But one thing's for sure here is that the screen of the OnePlus 13R is very responsive and the sound is quite decent. And playing after 30 minutes, the hottest I've achieved was 44°C. When it comes to Farlight 84, equally said, its gameplay was also good. We set it to the highest graphic settings possible and I was able to get a really nice experience here. The gameplay was smooth. And honestly, I didn't feel that much frame drops on it. Playing after 30 minutes, the hottest it reached was 42°C. Call of Duty Mobile, we also set it to the max graphic settings. And I've also played 30 minutes of battle royale here. The gameplay was really smooth. I didn't feel any frame drops on it. This is very easy for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. One thing I noticed with it is that the sounds are not as loud as the OnePlus 13. And the hottest I reached here after 30 minutes of gameplay was 42°C. If you found the sound of this phone kind of lacking, I can suggest you try one of this, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3. It was able to give me a good gaming experience here. The sound quality of this is definitely good and its design is great. What I like about here is it connects fast on the OnePlus 13. Once you open it, it can detect it already, just simply press the connect button and it'll be connected. One thing that I like here is it's super light to my ears, it's not heavy, and it can give me roughly up to 16 hours of playback time. The price of this one is Php1,790 at any Digital Walker online and offline stores. Check on the description box. Let's now talk about the camera. This one has a 50MP main camera sensor with OIS, 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and 8MP ultra wide lens up to 112° FoV. It has color spectrum sensor and can shoot you up to 4K and 60 FPS. Its front-facing camera is 16MP which can only shoot you up to 1080p and 30 FPS. Let's start our camera analysis with some outdoor shot and you'd see that some of these shots on outdoors, the details of the clouds even on simple shots look great. And when you look at this scenery, it looks very cool to the eyes. This is another shot that I really like. Its colors look beautiful. The color science on the camera of the OnePlus 13R looks really nice, and I simply love this shot.
