Through that journey of my healing,
I realised that I grew more in faith
and I drew closer to God,
and my relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ actually improved.
Okay, our brother in Zambia - let us pray.
In the name of Jesus Christ!
Right now every damage to your muscles, to your bones - be restored in Jesus’ name!
Be restored in Jesus’ name.
Brother, can you just lift up your leg for me?
In the name of Jesus Christ,
be healed right now.
Every pain - come out of him,
in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Holy Spirit.
Brother, you are free to the glory of God.
You can check yourself right now.
I know you will not be able to
remove the cast at this moment,
but you can know that
God has touched you.
Just check yourself and give thanks
to God for your healing.
Thank You, Lord.
My name is Francis and
I'm from Zambia, Africa.
Last year in March, I had a fracture of my fibula whilst I was playing football.
But the nature of the injury and things which happened that led to it were not natural.
So it was an issue where at my workplace,
I was in the position of acting
head of department.
So with that opportunity, I brought in the aspect of having Scripture and prayers
at my place of work,
which is a learning institution.
So on a Friday, we had prayers with students.
We praised the Lord, shared the Word of God, and I knew this was how it should be.
The following day, Saturday, I went to play social football with my friends, like I always did.
Before I went to play the football match,
I received a text message
from one of the students who was in the prayer meeting that we had the previous day.
She had a dream where she saw
I was under attack -
there was an imminent attack
towards my life.
So on that fateful day, the
same Saturday, my heart...
You know, the heart knows when something is wrong but I just brushed it off
and said, ‘Father, let Your will be done’
because I didn’t know how the
attack was going to come.
I just thanked God for everything
and went on to play football.
So the match started around 5pm. The ground was moist because it had just rained.
So on that fateful day, to cut a long story short, as I was playing,
I slid into a tackle trying to play a ball.
I didn't have contact with any player, neither did I hit anything hard.
But after just sliding into a simple tackle,
when I was on the ground,
I could feel that my fibula broke.
So immediately there, most of my colleagues thought I was playing or pretending to just fall,
so I could maybe not
participate in the game.
But there and then, I could feel my bone moving; I could feel excruciating pain.
And immediately that happened,
it reminded me of the text message
I received that fateful day.
After that, I was rushed to the hospital
and then they did an X-ray.
After doing the X-ray, that's how they found out that my fibula bone had actually fractured,
and the fracture was as
if I was hit by something
that led to the bones completely detaching.
So, what was done was I was given a cast.
That cast I was given is the one actually shown in the video you saw.
And then I was, of course, put on painkillers and also some other medications.
But I was in excruciating pain
and I was given crutches.
So that same day I contacted the God’s Heart TV Team and explained my whole situation.
And immediately I sent my message,
the God’s Heart TV Team replied.
On that fateful day, of course, Brother Chris ministered the Word of God to us
before actually praying for us.
He said something which I've
never forgotten to this day.
He said something important, and
I believe he was led by the Holy Spirit,
on what would transpire, especially regarding my situation.
So in most cases, when
I watch God’s Heart TV,
I would see people being prayed for and you would see immediate healing.
People would feel something.
Others would feel electricity.
For others, it would be heat.
They would feel many things.
But before Brother Chris prayed for any of us that day, he mentioned something.
He said, “When you are being prayed for, the Holy Spirit works as He wills.”
So what that means is that it's not necessarily that you have to feel something,
or you have to fall down, or you have to manifest or whatever the case,
because when we come for prayer,
we come with a lot of expectations.
Maybe you will think that
when they pray for you,
for you to know that you are healed,
you have to feel some form of electricity.
You have to feel something.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit - you won’t even feel anything, but God will heal you.
So as Brother Chris administered prayer for me, when it was my turn for prayer,
one thing I remember I could feel was -
I had peace of heart.
That was the first thing I had.
Of course, there were a lot of things
that I was going through.
The fracture was just one of them.
But I had peace of heart and one thing that was prominent physically was
the pain which was in my leg subsided.
Other than that, I didn't feel any form of...
I didn't feel anything other
than the pain subsiding
and the peace of heart which I received on that fateful day I was prayed for.
And I was able to get some
strength in my leg
because, by then, I was in excruciating pain.
For me, the prayer and the whole experience was more than just the fracture,
because I believe I had
a fracture in my faith.
So through the experience, my healing
was quite special. I take it as special.
After Brother Chris prayed,
something that he mentioned was
that any spiritual element
that led to the fracture
and could have led to
complications was removed.
So in my case, my healing
took the ‘natural turn’ in that
I didn’t immediately receive
bone attachment.
It took some time and through
that journey of my healing,
I realised that I grew more in faith
and I drew closer to God,
and my relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ actually improved.
Okay, so I'm sure people can
see the two X-rays.
The one on the left is before prayer.
The one on the right is after prayer,
which I took about two weeks ago.
So that is the one which now shows my healing at the moment.
And glory be to God - my bones are fused.
All-in-all, my fracture has been healed
and God has healed my life.
So if you saw in the video,
I couldn't stand on my own.
So standing was a problem.
But now, I’m able to stand on my
two feet as people can see.
And, I can also balance. So this is the leg
which was affected - the left leg.
You can see I can actually balance
and have strength in my leg.
I can move freely, I can walk freely, I can jump and I can do so many physical activities
that I couldn’t do back then.
No pain in the bone!
You can even see how my leg looks -
some can’t even tell I had a fracture.
It has healed properly and
there is no deformity on my leg.
I would like to just advise my
fellow brothers and sisters -
as you are about to receive prayer,
one of the things to remember is that you cannot please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
So I believe, in as much as we want to receive physical healing
or prayer for any type of problem we have,
we first need to believe that God
is going to heal our problems.
And then when God is healing us,
God wants salvation for us.
So He first has to build that
relationship in us with Him
that will enable us to maintain the healing.
Because I can receive healing today,
but if I don't maintain my relationship
with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
I can lose that blessing.
I know others are praying for
promotions, for employment -
there are so many things that
people are praying for.
But the most important thing is - how are you going to maintain the blessing?
And in my case, God showed me patience and also perseverance,
and how to maintain my blessing.
And up to today, I'm thankful for the many gifts that God has shown in my life.
