Many people today come to God expecting Him to clean up the mess
created by their failure to follow His process.
Look, we serve a God who is merciful.
Our God is full of mercy and compassion.
And I tell you, people of God, God’s mercy can reach you where you are.
But it's not to keep you where you are.
His grace - amazing grace, how sweet the sound - can locate you where you are.
But it is not to leave you where you are.
I don't know the depths of despair you may be facing,
the intensity of the challenges you may be having.
But the mercy of God can reach you wherever you are.
But take note - He breaks your chains to free you to change.
I'll say it again, people of God.
He breaks your chains, so that you will be free to change.
He does not break your chains for you to remain the same.
I want you to say that right now wherever you are,
“God will break my chains; I will make a change.”
If you're with someone else, you can say to that person,
“Look, God will break your chains; you must make a change!”
Yes, a change from hatred to love.
A change from sadness and misery to joy.
A change from complaining and grumbling to appreciation.
A change from offence to forgiveness.
God will break your chains.
You can't afford to remain the same.
