Here comes the flagship phone
of HONOR,
and I'm holding right now
the HONOR Magic7 Pro.
Powered by the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Elite.
It has flagship level
three camera lenses.
100W of fast charging
with 5,850mAh of battery.
And it also has a quad-curved
LTPO AMOLED screen.
More details after
this quick intro.
(introduction music)
Now this HONOR Magic7 Pro
that has 12GB of RAM
and 512GB of storage
is currently priced at Php59,999.
And for early bird buyers,
it comes together
with a free JBL sound glasses.
And I know there's only
a limited quantity of it.
Just check the link
on the description box below
where you can buy it.
When it comes to design,
it is almost similar
to the HONOR Magic6 Pro.
Its back is quite smooth
but it's matte finish
so expect to not see
any fingerprint smudge.
And the camera bump
on the back looks good.
It has side aluminum frame
but it's shiny
so it has many
fingerprint smudges.
And its front is
a Nano Shield Glass protection.
This one is IP68 and IP69
dust and water resistant.
And another good news for you
is that this one
has an eSIM support.
It has a quad-curved display
and it has dual punch hole,
it's like a dynamic island.
And there's quite
some heaviness to it at 223g.
When it comes to its processor,
this one has the best one
that Qualcomm can offer
at the moment
which is the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Elite.
What I'm wondering
about this phone is that
I've ran several tests
on AnTuTu Benchmark,
I only got 1.65 million score
all throughout.
And this is its breakdown score.
This is the score I got
on its CPU benchmarking
on Geekbench
and on its GPU benchmarking.
Its loop score is 6,117
on Wild Life Extreme
but its stability is only 48%.
Its thermals are looking okay
and it throttled
to 81% of its best performance.
One of the good things
on this phone is that
its battery is quite big
at 5,850mAh
with silicon-carbon technology
which makes it quite light
but it's still not light,
probably because
of the big sensor on the back.
And this one supports 100W
of wired charging,
and it has 80W
of wireless charging.
This one supports
reverse wireless charging
and reverse wired charging
as well.
I've used this phone
for three weeks
when I travelled
using this as my daily driver.
Based on my experience,
you won't have
any problems here.
As long as you're not really
heavy taking videos
and your usage is normal,
it can last you one whole day.
I used this phone while I'm in China
on the Canton Fair
and it was able to last me
the whole day,
I didn't have any problems
with its battery.
When I put this under
the PCMark battery stress test,
under 50% brightness
and 60Hz of screen refresh rate,
we've got a great score.
16 hours of screen-on time.
Now when it comes
to its loudspeakers,
it has six speakers
on the bottom
and it has five holes
on the top.
Let's just check out
how loud this phone's
loudspeaker when you're listening
to Spotify.
Check this one out.
(HOT by LE SSERAFIM)
Its sound is loud
and it doesn't sound tinny
when you max its volume.
We've played three games here.
I've played Wuthering Waves,
Farlight 84,
and Call of Duty Mobile.
On Wuthering Waves,
I've maxed out its graphics
and it was really good.
Taking it to another level
because I was able to play
this game while I was
in tour in China.
This is probably one
of my favorite downtimes
when I don't have anything to do—
playing Wuthering Waves.
It's really great here.
One thing I noticed here
is it has great graphics
and the gameplay
was really smooth.
You won't feel that much
frame drops here.
Probably if there are lags,
it's due to bad
internet connection.
But if you have good
internet connection,
I don't see any reason
why it would lag.
Its sound and the touch response
were great.
After an hour of gameplay, 46°C.
Farlight 84 also has
good gameplay.
Even when you max out
its graphics,
you won't have any problems here.
And for sure, you'll enjoy here
because its graphics are good.
And one thing I noticed here
is that its touch response
was fast.
And its sound is definitely good.
After 30 minutes of gameplay, 45°C.
On Call of Duty Mobile,
for sure, you won't have
any problems here
because it's very okay.
What I like here is that
its graphics are so smooth,
you won't have any problems.
And even if you play BR matches
and you fight
on a certain point,
you won't really feel
any lags or frame drops.
One of the good things here
is it has good touch responses
and the sounds are great
coming from the left
and right speakers.
After 30 minutes, 44°C.
So right now let's talk
about the highlight of this phone,
the camera.
This one has a 50MP
main camera sensor with OIS.
And this is an OmniVision OV450H.
It has 200MP periscope
telephoto lens
with up to 3x optical zoom.
This one is a Samsung
ISOCELL S5KHP3SP.
Then of course, it has
a 50MP ultra wide lens
with 120° FoV.
This one is an OmniVision OV50D40
Light Hunter 400.
This one can shoot you
up to 4K and 60 FPS.
And its front-facing camera
is a 50MP Sony IMX816
which can also shoot you
up to 4K and 60 FPS.
I've brought
this HONOR Magic7 Pro
in my trip to Guangzhou, China,
and I took a lot of shots.
And honestly, I was quite surprised
with its performance.
I expect nothing less
but a really good
camera performance
on the Magic7 Pro.
While I was touring and I was lost
looking for my hotel,
I was just able to get
some nice snaps on this camera.
Taking some photos
around the vicinity,
you can see the photos
are very sharp.
You can see these signages
are still sharp
even if we zoom it in.
And even this billboard
on top of the buildings,
it's unique.
It's a whole new experience
on another level.
And the photos that I get
are sharp.
More photos that I got
outside the Canton Fair.
And we can see all
of these photos are really nice
and sharp.
I would really say that
on outdoor photography,
as long as your lighting is good,
the performance
of the HONOR Magic7 Pro
is great.
Taking in more shots,
we can see that
even if it's gloomy,
these shots that I got
are really nice and I love
the performance
of the Magic7 Pro.
If you want to see more photos
from my HONOR Magic7 Pro,
just follow me on my Facebook,
I'll post more photos there.
On indoor food photography,
the Magic7 Pro won't back down.
We can see that this is
a very simple shot
but you can see the details
on these vegetables.
The bit of oil on this stir fry
is clearly seen on this photo.
And taking a look at some
of these other shots,
I can say that this is definitely
a good camera
for taking food photography,
the Magic7 Pro.
Guys, take a look.
While I was indoor
and taking some photos,
this poster looks very nice.
And this is one
of the popular animated movies
in China right now.
More photos from indoor.
I would say that the performance
of the Magic7 Pro was great.
I've went to an HONOR store
and I was able to take
some photos as well.
This is the sign
of the HONOR 300 series.
Taking a look at some
of the Magic Flip on display.
HONOR 300 series.
MagicBook Art14.
The ones that aren't available
in our country.
And even the Magic7 Pro
has a huge signage
in the Hong Kong airport.
The stuffed toys that I captured
inside the Disney store,
we can see it's really nice
for indoor photography.
If you're going outdoor
and lowlight,
also expect the shots captured
on the Magic7 Pro are great.
On night photography,
we used its zooming.
This is a normal shot,
2x,
3x,
and 6x.
Well, it kind of softened out
on the 6x
but it's still not so bad.
We've also played
with its different lenses,
and this is an ultra wide shot,
1x,
2x,
6x,
12x,
50x,
and zooming it all the way
to 100x zoom.
We can see the word
is still very sharp
after digitally zooming for 100x.
Checking the selfie camera,
it's fine.
Honestly, the photos that I got
are not that detailed.
from the Magic7 Pro.
But on some occasion,
it was able to give me
some nice snaps on outdoor.
Here are some pretty
decent shots that I got
even if it's kind of windy.
These shots are very nice
and sharp.
When it comes to indoors,
you'll notice
that your face softens out.
And at night,
it's equally smooth.
But there are times
that you'll get some nice shots
as long as the lighting is good.
Even at night, with this shot,
I was amazed that it's great.
Now while walking
under the subway,
we can see that the camera
of the Magic7 Pro is okay
on its front-facing camera.
It's not shaky.
And its camera is quite decent.
Equally said while I was
inside the Canton Fair,
the selfie camera was okay,
except that it's kind of dimmer.
Its rear camera would be able
to give you some really nice
vlogging experience.
Even if you pan around
using your hands,
you won't have any problems.
You don't need a gimbal.
For a flagship level phone
like this one,
it doesn't only have
a great camera...
Its camera is not only good
but even on gaming,
it's very capable to perform.
Probably the only thing
that you'll find lacking here
is that its zooming capabilities
is only up to 10x
and its front-facing camera
kind of fails on some of my shots.
Overall, the experience
was really nice.
It was very worth it
to bring this phone
on my trip abroad.
And for me, this is still one
of the flagship cameras to beat
for 2025.
