The European Union's Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger on Monday told a press briefing was confident there would be no Libyan oil blockade as oil fields had fallen into local hands.
Some earlier reports had suggested that Gaddafi would burn oil as a warning to the West as he continues to hang onto power in Tripoli.
