  • 0:01 - 0:04
    >> In this video, we will be
learning about how to glow an object.
  • 0:05 - 0:06
    So first, add the mesh.
  • 0:07 - 0:08
    Say a cube.
  • 0:09 - 0:14
Now, go to this world option here and
let's change the color of our background
  • 0:14 - 0:18
to complete black so it will be easier
to see the glowing effect on the mesh.
  • 0:19 - 0:21
    Then go to materials section.
  • 0:21 - 0:26
Select new and click over the
    surface option and select emission.
  • 0:27 - 0:32
You can change the strength of it from
here, so let's put a number here, say 3.
  • 0:33 - 0:35
You can also change the color from here.
  • 0:36 - 0:38
    Select any color you want.
  • 0:39 - 0:44
Now, left click over here to go to random
mode and see what it will look like.
  • 0:45 - 0:50
Well, our object is emitting light,
    but it isn't exactly glowing.
  • 0:51 - 0:56
So to make it glow, you go to this render
option here, and take this bloom option.
  • 0:57 - 0:58
    Now an object is glowing.
  • 0:59 - 1:03
Now you can click this arrow here
and you will get the glow settings.
  • 1:03 - 1:06
You can change its intensity from here.
  • 1:07 - 1:11
You can also change the color
radius and other settings from here.

So don't be afraid to play
    around with these settings.
  • 1:16 - 1:17
    Make your meshes glow better.
