EXPLORING WAR WRECKS HIDING GIANT FISH

  • 0:12 - 0:16
On the Swedish west coast there
    are more than just
  • 0:16 - 0:20
    rocks and salty waves
  • 0:21 - 0:26
    below the surface there are
    old ship wrecks
  • 0:27 - 0:31
which are home for a lot of
    different fish
  • 0:31 - 0:35
The ship wrecks are far out there
  • 0:35 - 0:38
    Me and Edvin have never
    explored them before
  • 0:38 - 0:42
    The deepest waters hold
    the biggest fish
  • 0:42 - 0:45
Edvin and I have never fished
    among ship wrecks before
  • 0:46 - 0:48
Adam is gonna help us out
  • 0:49 - 0:53
and together with his dad Stefan we're
    gonna head out and fish
  • 0:53 - 0:55
and see what we can catch
  • 0:56 - 0:57
    is it big?
    it looks big
  • 0:57 - 0:59
    Yours to Tobbe!
  • 1:00 - 1:01
    yes!
  • 1:01 - 1:03
Come on, a little bit closer
  • 1:04 - 1:06
    reel in
  • 1:06 - 1:07
    no
  • 1:08 - 1:09
    but first some comments
  • 1:10 - 1:15
TTG want us to say good luck to Emil
so that he catch some fish
  • 1:15 - 1:17
But no, you don't say good luck
    when it comes to fishing
  • 1:17 - 1:19
    that means bad luck
  • 1:19 - 1:21
crappy fishing is what you say
  • 1:22 - 1:25
Bernard want us to travel abroad
    and fish for dolphinfish
  • 1:25 - 1:29
They have actually seen one not
    far from here
  • 1:29 - 1:32
so with some luck we might catch one
  • 1:32 - 1:36
Julia want to see a video of all
    our fishing gear
  • 1:36 - 1:40
That is not possible due to the
    limits in Youtube
  • 1:40 - 1:44
    we can't upload a 100 000 hour video
  • 1:45 - 1:49
but in this video we're gonna
show what we fish with today
  • 1:52 - 1:56
this is the first time I'm gonna fish
a full day at ship wrecks
  • 1:56 - 2:00
my goal is to try and catch some
    new species
  • 2:01 - 2:04
Adam is perfect to have with you
  • 2:04 - 2:07
    He's 16 going on 17
  • 2:07 - 2:11
and he has caught over 100 species
  • 2:11 - 2:13
    That's not bad at all
  • 2:14 - 2:19
    these sunken ship wrecks are
almost like the perch hotels we built
  • 2:21 - 2:25
    But these are much deeper
    and much cooler
  • 2:26 - 2:29
We slept at Ramsviks camping last night
  • 2:29 - 2:32
a perfect place to start at when
    you're exploring the west coast
  • 2:33 - 2:36
it's close to a lot of known spots
  • 2:37 - 2:41
I feel like a wreck myself
I didn't sleep that many hours
  • 2:42 - 2:47
I'll drink this energy drink and then
we head to the first ship wreck
  • 2:51 - 2:52
    wait for me
  • 3:05 - 3:10
Adams dad has had a head start
    and prepared the boat
  • 3:10 - 3:14
So all we have to do is jump in
the boat and head out there
  • 3:15 - 3:17
It'll be really fun to try
  • 3:17 - 3:19
    Is it Titanic junior maybe?
  • 3:20 - 3:22
    It sounds cool at least
  • 3:28 - 3:32
You can't just go out here and
think you can catch a lot of species
  • 3:32 - 3:34
First you need to find the wreck
  • 3:35 - 3:38
You can google it or tag along
    with Adams dad
  • 3:38 - 3:41
    There can be currents aswell
  • 3:41 - 3:44
You need to have the right gear
    to get down there
  • 3:44 - 3:48
It can also be very windy out here
