On the Swedish west coast there
are more than just
-
rocks and salty waves
-
below the surface there are
old ship wrecks
-
which are home for a lot of
different fish
-
The ship wrecks are far out there
-
Me and Edvin have never
explored them before
-
The deepest waters hold
the biggest fish
-
Edvin and I have never fished
among ship wrecks before
-
Adam is gonna help us out
-
and together with his dad Stefan we're
gonna head out and fish
-
and see what we can catch
-
is it big?
it looks big
-
Yours to Tobbe!
-
yes!
-
Come on, a little bit closer
-
reel in
-
no
-
but first some comments
-
TTG want us to say good luck to Emil
so that he catch some fish
-
But no, you don't say good luck
when it comes to fishing
-
that means bad luck
-
crappy fishing is what you say
-
Bernard want us to travel abroad
and fish for dolphinfish
-
They have actually seen one not
far from here
-
so with some luck we might catch one
-
Julia want to see a video of all
our fishing gear
-
That is not possible due to the
limits in Youtube
-
we can't upload a 100 000 hour video
-
but in this video we're gonna
show what we fish with today
-
this is the first time I'm gonna fish
a full day at ship wrecks
-
my goal is to try and catch some
new species
-
Adam is perfect to have with you
-
He's 16 going on 17
-
and he has caught over 100 species
-
That's not bad at all
-
these sunken ship wrecks are
almost like the perch hotels we built
-
But these are much deeper
and much cooler
-
We slept at Ramsviks camping last night
-
a perfect place to start at when
you're exploring the west coast
-
it's close to a lot of known spots
-
I feel like a wreck myself
I didn't sleep that many hours
-
I'll drink this energy drink and then
we head to the first ship wreck
-
wait for me
-
Adams dad has had a head start
and prepared the boat
-
So all we have to do is jump in
the boat and head out there
-
It'll be really fun to try
-
Is it Titanic junior maybe?
-
It sounds cool at least
-
You can't just go out here and
think you can catch a lot of species
-
First you need to find the wreck
-
You can google it or tag along
with Adams dad
-
There can be currents aswell
-
You need to have the right gear
to get down there
-
It can also be very windy out here
-
You need to get lucky with a day
with good weather
-
and thankfully today is
-
You can also get stuck on the ship wreck
-
It's a lot of wood, steel
-
so you need some luck not
loosing your lures
-
You can tell you need some skill
-
I think I'm gonna reel in
half the ship
-
I'm good at getting stuck
-
I'll probably catch an
old hat or something
-
You can catch almost everything
-
This is really exciting, you never know
what you're gonna catch
-
both big fish and small fish
-
Over land is was overcast but out here
at the first ship wreck it's sunny
-
we're gonna have a great day today
-
Stefan are looking at the sonar a lot
-
we saw a small ship wreck here
-
With a lof of pouting according to Stefan
-
a new species for both Edvin and me
-
But we might have a small problem
-
something is strange
-
Looking behind the boat you
can see the current is very strong
-
It's on the verge that the electric
motor can handle it
-
we'll use big weights and place us
infront of the ship wreck
-
so that we can catch some pouting
