to transfer the train

either you are coming from
Osaka Station or Namba Station.

So probably, most of them heading to USJ.

So, train just arrived.

We gotta ride on this train.

That's a Super Mario train.

Some trains from Osaka Station
directly going to USJ.

this Nishikujo Station, too.

By the way, there is a Bentencho Station
next to this station.

If you are coming to Japan
for the Osaka Expo,

you need to transfer the train
in that train.

there is a "Women Only" train
for the weekday.

Usually Japan's escalator,
people stands one side.

travelers here today,

so that's why the escalator, too, it
becomes the international standard.

There is only one exit here,
so you will not get lost.

There is a ticket counter
in front of the station.

However, it will be super crowded
after USJ's closing time.

So, you gotta be careful.

The best way is getting the train IC card.

ICOCA is the Osaka version of SUICA.

Basically ICOCA, SUICA, it's same.

You can use it everywhere in Japan.

There is a new coin locker
in front of the station.

It seems like regular coin locker.

But this coin locker is something special.

If you place a luggage here, you can
directly send it to the hotel.

Now, there are only several
hotels available.

However, it will be more and more.

Price cost depends on the luggage size.

Small one is 1,900 Japanese yen.

And the large size is
2,800 Japanese yen.

during wintertime,

they are selling the heat pack.

Price is only 52 Japanese yen per one.

It continues 16 hours.
It will be much warmer.

So, don't forget to get one.

There are so many onigiri rice balls.

Seems like many onigiri is
already sold out.

Let me get ikura soy sauce flavor.

Sweet. Price was 279 Japanese yen.

It's the fancy onigiri.

Cheap one starting from 150 Japanese yen.

Minion Christmas tree.

Outside of USJ, there is a
souvenir store, too.

They have so many different kinds
of souvenir even outside.

So, you can enjoy shopping and
atmosphere, even you don't enter USJ.

we see the gate of USJ.

It's really close from the station.

This King Kong is a signature sign of USJ.

But today, we are meeting the Donkey Kong.

Yep, it's the Japanese version
of King Kong.

There is a Sushiro, too.

Yes! Japan stuff.

It became the Donkey Kong version. Sweet!

Before entering there, let's eat onigiri.

Well, I'm planning to visit the
restaurant in Super Mario area.

But it might be super, super crowded,
since it's the opening day.

So, I'd better eat onigiri first.

It's my favorite onigiri, ikura

One thing you have to be careful is that

even there are so many nice restaurant
at Universal CityWalk,

but you can't re-entry.

Disneyland accept the re-entry.

However, USJ doesn't accept the
re-entry for the most of day.

Unless you have the Annual Pass.

So, if you are not planning
to eat inside USJ,

make sure to eat before enter.

However, inside USJ, there are
many nice restaurant.

The food quality and price,

compared to the other theme
park, it's pretty good, too.

So, you can always eat inside USJ.

One problem is they might
be super crowed.

So, yeah, that's something
you gotta worry about.

After the gate, there is a ticket counter.

And also. Universal City Globe.

Seems like, still, fewer people taking
photo with Universal City Globe.

Around the park closing time,
it will be super crowded.

So, if you are thinking of taking a
photo with Universal City Globe,

probably, when you get here

would be the best time to
take a photo, I believe.

Here, they sell the Express Pass,
and also, the ticket.

But you can always buy at the website.

So, make sure to get one
before you come over here.

Especially if you are planning to

buy the Donkey Kong Express Pass,

it will be sold out, so make sure to get
one before you come over here.

Studio Pass price always changes.

Average is about 9,000 Japanese yen.

However, if you come over here
more than two times,

probably, you'd better
get the Annual Pass,

so that you can re-entry, too.

They also have Twilight Pass,
which is cheaper.

You can enter after 3:00 p.m.

Well, but if it's your first
time to visit here,

definitely, I recommend you to get
the 1 Day Pass though.

Oh my goodness, seems like there's
a long line for the entrance.

One thing you have to be careful is that

if you have a bigger tripod,
bigger than the hand size,

they will not let you enter.

So eventually, you are
using the coin locker,

which is too expensive only
for the tripod placing.

So, if you are having the big tripod,
you gotta be careful.

Haha, they increase the security level.

It's like the airport now.

Oh, there is a Christmas version
Shriek over here.

Speaking of the coin locker,

they have a same one in front
of the entrance, too.

This middle size costs 500 Japanese yen.

many coin lockers are available.

They sell the Super Mario popcorn bucket.

Price is 5,500 Japanese yen.

They open from 12:00 p.m.

If you come visit here around
afternoon time,

there will be so long line.

for a long time, so...

Better renew it in early time if you are
planning to get the Annual Pass.

bit earlier, so it's much faster.

Donkey Kong is from 1:00 p.m.

So, we still have time.

Now, they are having the collab
with Kimetsu no Yaiba again.

You wear the VR goggles
and ride the coaster.

It's really fun ride.

Since it's the school trip
time for the students,

there are so many students in USJ today.

So now, let me explain how to
enter to the Donkey Kong area.

Basically, Donkey Kong area is
connected to Super Mario World.

As long as you can enter
to the Nintendo World,

you can enter to the
Donkey Kong world as well.

So basically, there are two options
to enter without paying money.

The first one, just come over to the USJ
in very earlier time and be in line.

In the morning, they have an entrance
ticket that you can surely enter.

And after [it's] out,
they have the lottery ticket

Now, they seems like only the lottery one.

You can join the lotto over here.

So, here's a ticket machine.

And you need to let them scan your ticket.

Make sure to let them scan
all of the group's tickets,

so that everyone can join the
lottery at the same time.

So, those are the time slot
that are available.

Seems like until 6:50 p.m.

So, let me try to get from 5:20 p.m.

because, probably, it will be darker.

And they will have the
different atmosphere.

So, after you get a lottery ticket,

just scan the QR code one hour
before the entrance time.

And you can know the result.

However, well, according to my experience,

you can have the very, very little
chance to enter the Mario World

even if you join the lotto.

So, if you want to join to
the Nintendo Mario World,

make sure to come over
here in earlier time.

Today's opening time is
from 8:00 a.m. officially.

However, they actually
opened it from 7:15 a.m.

which is about 45 minutes
earlier than usual.

Sometimes they open earlier.

So, if you want to join to
the Mario World for sure,

yeah, just come over here earlier time.

so you gotta be careful
since it's really popular.

in the upstairs, too.

There is Hard Rock Cafe.

And also, we have Red Lobster, too.

The first restaurant, it's Ganko.

It's a popular Japanese chain restaurant.

They have so many different
kinds of Japanese [food].

And the price is good, too.

For example, this sushi with so many
other dish, 2,178 Japanese yen.

Kaarage bowl including miso soup,
1,078 Japanese yen.

And seafood bowl, 1,518 Japanese yen.

We still have more and more.

And it's Otoya.

Recently, they have a different
branch in other country, too.

It's Japanese teishoku restaurant.

And this is also my favorite
restaurant, too.

It's a tonkatsu restaurant, Inaba Wako.

It's kind of the branch of Tonkatsu Wako.

They have a good and cheap
tonkatsu restaurant.

For example, cheese menchi katsu,
deep fried shrimp, and the pork cutlet

comes with rice and miso soup,
1,848 Japanese yen.

Big pork cutlet with two deep fried
shrimp, 1,980 Japanese yen.

It comes with rice and miso soup, too.

If you love tonkatsu, definitely,
Tonkatsu Wako, recommended.

Also, it's my favorite okonomiyaki
restaurant, Fugetsu.

They have a good and cheap okonomiyaki.

You can only find this restaurant
in west part of Japan.

So, you can barely find
this restaurant in Tokyo.

If you come over here, try to
order the modanyaki,

which is the noodle on top
of the okonomiyaki.

Basically, it's a Hiroshima style.

But you know, I was born
and raised in Osaka.

But I love that!

Yeah, I love Osaka style okonomiyaki.

But at the same time,

also, I love their Hiroshima style
okonomiyaki, the noodle on top.

So, don't forget to add the noodle on top.

It calls modanyaki.

We have more restaurant
in the downstair, too.

In downstairs, there is a Takopa.

Usually, there is not that long line.

So, if you want to try takoyaki,
maybe you can come over here.

There is a "Taste Test Zone."

So, if you come by the group,

maybe you can order the
different takoyaki,

and you can check the difference
between each takoyaki store.

That would be fun.

Also, here, we got the relatively
new restaurant

in Universal CityWalk, Bikkuri Donkey.

It's my favorite hamburg steak restaurant.

If you've never tried hamburg steak,
definitely, I recommend.

For example, this one, price is
1,630 Japanese yen.

It comes with ice cream, and
coffee, with miso soup.

It's a good deal.

Also, if you want to save money,
there is a Saizeriya,

which is a good and cheap
Japanese Italian food.

You can eat the pizza with
400 Japanese yen.

And doria with 300 Japanese yen.

Wine starting from 100 Japanese yen.

And they have so many different
kinds of appetizers, too.

They have a hamburg steak
with 400 Japanese yen.

However, if it's your first time
to try hamburg steak,

I recommend you to go to
Bikkuri Donkey though.

It's in the highest level
and at the corner.

So probably, if you don't know the
restaurant, you will miss this.

But yes, we have a Saizeriya
in Universal CityWalk.

So, if you want to save money,
you can just come over to Saizeriya.

By the way, if you love omurice,
this Pomunoki is recommended.

They have so many different
kinds of omurice.

This shrimp with buttercream omurice,
it's meccha oishii.

Price is 2,013 Japanese yen.

There are just so many options
in Universal CityWalk.

So, if you visit USJ, just remember,

there is an option to eat at
the Universal CityWalk, too.

And also, if you are staying around
the Universal City hotels,

you can always come over here to eat.

There are so many options, so
definitely, you will enjoy that.
