April 6 Training

  • Not Synced
    So this is our April
    social media training.
  • Not Synced
    Based on the poll,
  • Not Synced
    which by the way,
    thanks for doing that
  • Not Synced
it helps me so much to
    know what you're needing
  • Not Synced
because you're the one that are
    boots on the ground.
  • Not Synced
You know what you're wanting to
    learn about.
  • Not Synced
And you guys had some really good
    other ideas
  • Not Synced
That I'm going to cover in
probably not this one but in future ones.
  • Not Synced
    So I'm really excited.
  • Not Synced
And I love that you guys are taking a personal interest in this.
  • Not Synced
So, welcome to social media training.
  • Not Synced
I just wanted to introduce myself
for those who don't know who I am.
  • Not Synced
    I'm Alisha Wilkins.
  • Not Synced
    You can email me at
    Alisha.wilkins now.
  • Not Synced
I am legally changes to Wilkins.
  • Not Synced
I got married and hadn't changed
    my name for a while.
  • Not Synced
Now I am legally Alisha Wilkins
and I am the social media manager
  • Not Synced
up here for extension and my job is to
    obviously run our extension page.
  • Not Synced
But also to help you run your pages.
  • Not Synced
    If you have Facebook questions,
    if you have marketing ideas,
  • Not Synced
that you just need some help with,
I am here to talk about it.
  • Not Synced
    If you have specific things
    you want to ask me,
  • Not Synced
I am always down for a phone call,
a zoom call to help you out.
  • Not Synced
I just wanted to start with a new thing
because you guys are doing to great.
  • Not Synced
And I've kind of been keeping track as
    I go through social media
  • Not Synced
everyday of fun things I see people
    doing with social media.
  • Not Synced
    So Cache County extension,
they did a reel about spring cleaning
  • Not Synced
that was really really well done.
  • Not Synced
Emory County, Row sent in a video
    for us
  • Not Synced
    that did super well about
    world water day.
  • Not Synced
And it took him, I'm guessing,
    5 minutes to make.
  • Not Synced
It went super well, so thanks
    Emory County.
  • Not Synced
    USU Botanical Center has been
    doing awesome.
  • Not Synced
They have the funnest flower pictures
and flowers are always easy to post.
  • Not Synced
Really low hanging fruit if you're like,
  • Not Synced
"I don't know what else I can post,"
  • Not Synced
just find a pretty flower outside
    your office
  • Not Synced
    and say "we love spring"
    done.
  • Not Synced
    And then, Carbon County
    had been doing awesome.
  • Not Synced
They had a post about the
stem spot that the had installed.
  • Not Synced
And they had faces of the people.
  • Not Synced
And I know it's kind of hard to get
    participants faces in things
  • Not Synced
if they didn't sign a waiver or something.
  • Not Synced
But I have found that if I want to include
    someone's face in something
  • Not Synced
I just say, "hey do you mind if I take
    your picture for social media."
  • Not Synced
    9/10 times people have been
    on board with that.
  • Not Synced
Anyway, there's a ton of other
    things going on.
  • Not Synced
Those are just some of the
    things that I saw.
  • Not Synced
So, I don't want this so be like
    a full on lecture
  • Not Synced
cause I know those get boring.
  • Not Synced
But you did ask what I kind of gained
from the social media marketing world.
  • Not Synced
I am just going to go through
    a couple things
  • Not Synced
that I think that you guys will appreciate
  • Not Synced
then we can talk after about
    how you can implement that.
  • Not Synced
    Fluffy, generic things are awesome
but I want to give you
  • Not Synced
concrete things to go and try.
  • Not Synced
So the first thing that I got hit
    hard with the most,
  • Not Synced
    is that your follower count,
    doesn't really matter anymore.
  • Not Synced
We've been pushing for so long
    to get this high number,
  • Not Synced
    this high likes, followers,
  • Not Synced
    but it's now considered a
    "vanity metric"
  • Not Synced
    by most social media professionals.
  • Not Synced
    What that basically means
is that it just makes you look good
  • Not Synced
to other people but it doesn't actually
    tell you how
  • Not Synced
well you're doing on social media.
  • Not Synced
    But the platforms want engagement.
  • Not Synced
So that means, if you have 5,000
    followers but you're only getting
  • Not Synced
20 likes, you've got to change
    your strategy.
  • Not Synced
    So then the next thing,
oh I'll get to that Nichole,
  • Not Synced
I'm sure there an actual USU
    policy.
  • Not Synced
    Back when I was a 4H
person, I just kind of did it.
  • Not Synced
But I'll find out a more
    formal policy.
  • Not Synced
So back to the followers thing,
  • Not Synced
maybe thing about what can I
do instead of just posting a graphic
  • Not Synced
of my event, is this an event we've
done in the past that I could
  • Not Synced
get someone to talk about on
    a quick video.
  • Not Synced
About why they liked attending the event.
  • Not Synced
Could I get my agent or my coordinator,
whoever's in charge of the event,
  • Not Synced
    to come on and share?
  • Not Synced
Could I post a picture of the
    event from last year
  • Not Synced
    and say, "look how fun
    this is going to be!"
  • Not Synced
Utah 4H does that a lot with
    a lot of their events
  • Not Synced
now that they have a content
    library.
  • Not Synced
If it's a new event, maybe
post the thing they're going to be making
  • Not Synced
or reasons to attend this course.
    Instead of just the graphic.
  • Not Synced
Often people are going to scroll past
    just a graphic.
  • Not Synced
    Just something to think about.
  • Not Synced
    Followers doesn't equal success anymore.
  • Not Synced
You want to make sure you're getting
    good engagement on your posts
  • Not Synced
    meaning comments, likes, and shares.
  • Not Synced
So then the next thing to kind of
the same line as not every
  • Not Synced
piece of content will go viral.
  • Not Synced
That's just the world of social media.
  • Not Synced
And it's okay to have low reach
if you need to put information out there.
  • Not Synced
I know that there are some content
    that when I post,
  • Not Synced
it's just not going to get a lot
    of reach.
  • Not Synced
    But that's okay because I'm
    building trust.
  • Not Synced
I'm letting people know that this
    is what we're about.
  • Not Synced
    A lot of people ask,
    when should I post?
  • Not Synced
    How much should I post?
    Duh duh duh
  • Not Synced
It all depends on your audience.
  • Not Synced
So you can dive into your
    own analytics for your page
  • Not Synced
and see when people are the most active,
  • Not Synced
and schedule your posts for then.
  • Not Synced
Or an hour before their most active times.
  • Not Synced
    Because every page is different
every audience is going to be different.
  • Not Synced
Some audiences don't mind being posted
to a couple times a day.
  • Not Synced
Others it's like they only need a couple
    times a week.
  • Not Synced
So dive into your own analytics
    for your page.
  • Not Synced
And I can show you how to do that
in a different phone call if you want to.
  • Not Synced
Something they also talked about was
  • Not Synced
aligning your strategy with the goals
    of the platform.
  • Not Synced
Video is huge on instagram right now.
  • Not Synced
They're going to reward you by boosting
    you in the algorithm
  • Not Synced
if you can post a video.
  • Not Synced
You don't have to do a trendy lip sync
    or funky dance.
  • Not Synced
Even just a quick video from one of
    your 4H coordinators about
  • Not Synced
time to sign up for fair stuff, or just
    a staff assistant doing, I don't know.
  • Not Synced
There's lots of things you guys
    can be doing.
  • Not Synced
They also are going to give value
    to faces in their posts.
  • Not Synced
    Instagram and Facebook are taking
a shift back to organic content,
  • Not Synced
    to more friendly content.
  • Not Synced
So they want to see faces. They want
    to see interactions.
  • Not Synced
Anyway, so then, what's another thing?
  • Not Synced
Oh! It does take 7 to 10 touch points
    for someone to take action
  • Not Synced
for your business, so that means
it might take them 7 times
  • Not Synced
before they come to a class.
Or 7 times before they purchase a product.
  • Not Synced
Or they trust you as this
    reliable source.
  • Not Synced
Another thing that I am working on now
    for our main account,
  • Not Synced
is start with 5 pillars of content
that you know your office is good at.
  • Not Synced
So if you've got canning person,
    a 4H person, a gardening person,
  • Not Synced
so that way each day of the week,
    you assign their content
  • Not Synced
So people know, well just so you know,
  • Not Synced
on Tuesdays, I post about FCS,
on Wednesdays, I post about 4H.
  • Not Synced
Obviously you can do it more if
its like, gardening is huge right now
  • Not Synced
and 4H is going to get bigger too,
    you can post more.
  • Not Synced
But that way it helps you to keep
    your thoughts organized.
  • Not Synced
If you're like, Mondays I need to find
    a food post,
  • Not Synced
Tuesdays I need to do this post.
  • Not Synced
And that way also your followers can know
  • Not Synced
okay they post about money, food,
beef production, and gardening. You know?
  • Not Synced
    They trust your page.
  • Not Synced
This is something that I know can be
    kind of hard.
  • Not Synced
But if you want to understand
    social media,
  • Not Synced
you have to get on social media.
  • Not Synced
    And so, obviously use,
  • Not Synced
    Be discreet about it.
  • Not Synced
But if you want to understand trends
    and you want to understand
  • Not Synced
    what people are doing online,
    spend some time
  • Not Synced
    on social media just scrolling.
  • Not Synced
    So I scroll one,
I probably scroll an hour a day
  • Not Synced
    intermittently throughout the day
    just to understand
  • Not Synced
what the temperature of things is.
    Like what's going on online?
  • Not Synced
Just because I want to be
    aware of trends.
  • Not Synced
Sometimes I spend longer on the days
I need to create a bunch of content.
  • Not Synced
And I write down things, like
oh I could totally do that for extension.
  • Not Synced
    Another thing is you're
going to get a little uncomfortable.
  • Not Synced
Social media and being in front
    of people online
  • Not Synced
    is really uncomfortable if
    you're not used to it.
  • Not Synced
    Just getting used to the
    uncomfortableness
  • Not Synced
is part of the social media
    that I love.
  • Not Synced
I love being like, "okay I look
    like a complete idiot
  • Not Synced
    doing this right now."
  • Not Synced
    But people love it.
  • Not Synced
And then the last thing is that
    your content
  • Not Synced
should make the customer the hero
    of your story.
  • Not Synced
So they should be the people who
    you're focused on.
  • Not Synced
This is something, oh I guess this
was the last one sorry I went backwards.
  • Not Synced
    Answer questions.
    Solve Problems.
  • Not Synced
That's kind of what our content,
    for main extension,
  • Not Synced
that's my goal is that we
    phrase things around questions
  • Not Synced
    that we're getting asked.
  • Not Synced
So, if you're the ones that are getting
    called in your county,
  • Not Synced
if you're getting a tons of calls about
  • Not Synced
    crab apple or fireblight, like
"when so I spray for fireblight?"
  • Not Synced
    Make a post about it.
  • Not Synced
If you're getting tons of calls about
"when are out livestock tagging dates?"
  • Not Synced
    Make a post about it.
  • Not Synced
You know? Its really low hanging fruit.
  • Not Synced
But you know there's people out there
    who are asking these questions.
  • Not Synced
If you know you have a money question.
  • Not Synced
People are asking, "what can I do to save
money with gas prices and inflation?"
  • Not Synced
Make a money post about that.
  • Not Synced
And that can come just from
knowing what your audience is needing.
  • Not Synced
And solving their problems and answering
    their questions.
  • Not Synced
So I know that was a lot of
here, here is all of my thoughts.
  • Not Synced
    And my one challenge,
because I want you to actually do things,
  • Not Synced
is to find your five pillars in
    your office,
  • Not Synced
the five subjects that you know
    you can consistently post.
  • Not Synced
    Something in that.
  • Not Synced
And then just branch out from there
    to help with things.
  • Not Synced
So that was just my little run down.
  • Not Synced
The conference was awesome and I
wish you guys could all go.
  • Not Synced
    What questions or thoughts
do you have about what we talked about?
  • Not Synced
And how can I help address them?
  • Not Synced
I know Nichole had a question.
  • Not Synced
I will find out the actual USU
    policy.
  • Not Synced
    It's probably good to follow
    those policies.
  • Not Synced
But I know in the past, if I
    just told them
  • Not Synced
"hey this is going on the social
    media,"
  • Not Synced
    they've been fine with it.
    So I'll find out.
  • Not Synced
    I know if they're a 4H member,
    they automatically signed a release
  • Not Synced
    when they enrolled in Zsuite.
  • Not Synced
So kids are a little different, but I'll
    ask for the adults.
  • Not Synced
    K, whatcha got?
  • Not Synced
    Yeah, just go ahead.
  • Not Synced
WOMAN: Hey Alisha, just to respond to
    Nichole too,
  • Not Synced
one of the things that we've done,
  • Not Synced
because we're not just a typical
extension office that deals only with 4H
  • Not Synced
but the trial enroll opioid initiative,
  • Not Synced
    classroom activities that we do,
we have a sign in sheet
  • Not Synced
just like they typically use for
    the 4H activities
  • Not Synced
    that has the release basically
    printed at the top.
  • Not Synced
So as they sign in, we're counting that
as their release signature as well.
  • Not Synced
    ALISHA >> That's a good idea.
  • Not Synced
WOMAN: That's worked for us so far.
  • Not Synced
We are actually, I'm, working with Julien
    right now
  • Not Synced
to try and talk about how we should
    handle our upcoming summit.
  • Not Synced
Because that might be a little
    bit different.
  • Not Synced
We're talking about doing some live
    Facebook posts during the summit.
  • Not Synced
So we're just going to double check
    that that's okay too
  • Not Synced
because we may have people signing in
  • Not Synced
and we may have people coming in when
    the information desk is closed
  • Not Synced
    or whatever.
  • Not Synced
So one of the things that we've
    considered is posting
  • Not Synced
around the room on like a sandwich board.
  • Not Synced
And that there is a possibility,
    just giving them notice that
  • Not Synced
there is a possibility that they could
show up on our social media.
  • Not Synced
Because it is going to be broadcast
    in different areas.
  • Not Synced
So as long as there notice, we've been
under the impression that that's okay.
  • Not Synced
But to kind of cover ourselves, like
    I said
  • Not Synced
we just the verbiage off of the
    release form
  • Not Synced
at the top of the sign in sheet.
    >> yeah
  • Not Synced
    >> I don't know if that's helpful or not.
  • Not Synced
    >> No, I like the signage thing
    is supper important
  • Not Synced
and i think good at fairs and events.
  • Not Synced
Like you are in a public area
    you might be in camera.
  • Not Synced
    When I worked county fairs,
    we had those all over
  • Not Synced
and I didn't ever have anybody
    have problems.
  • Not Synced
I have, you know, my husband is in
    law enforcement
  • Not Synced
so I'm going to be that crazy mom
    that's a little nervous about
  • Not Synced
    my kids being posted because
    I don't want that.
  • Not Synced
But yeah, the signage is a good idea.
  • Not Synced
And Shawna's awesome and put the marketing
photo video release from in the chat.
  • Not Synced
I like the sign in sheet too.
  • Not Synced
You got to keep track of their names
    for food anyways usually.
  • Not Synced
Might as well just put your
    thing at the top.
  • Not Synced
So, Kassie, I don't know what the
    4h brand kit is.
  • Not Synced
Is that something Megan was doing?
  • Not Synced
    Or did you hear...
I'm not sure what that is.
  • Not Synced
WOMAN 2: Megan might be doing it.
  • Not Synced
They did a national 4H brand
    update training
  • Not Synced
a couple weeks, I guess it was about
a week ago from national 4H
  • Not Synced
and I was just wondering if
we were gonna get the kit.
  • Not Synced
    >> Yeah, I bet Megan would know.
I don't know much about that.
  • Not Synced
    That's cool.
  • Not Synced
I'm trying to get out your April,
I didn't do a very good job for March,
  • Not Synced
I'm still trying to figure out
    my schedule.
  • Not Synced
But, I'll try to get out some April posts
  • Not Synced
that are easy for you guys to
    put up as well.
  • Not Synced
But I did want to ask what kind of
    questions are you guys
  • Not Synced
getting in your office a lot of?
  • Not Synced
Like what things are people asking about?
  • Not Synced
    Cause you're the ones that,
    I don't get calls anymore.
  • Not Synced
I miss being in a county office
for that reason. I like that.
  • Not Synced
    What are people asking about?
  • Not Synced
    Gardening, ha yeah
    pretty easy.
  • Not Synced
Oh water wise, sewell has so many
good things for drought and lawn.
  • Not Synced
I know we posted that reminder thing
    and people were upset.
  • Not Synced
    But, people get upset about
watering their grass all the time.
  • Not Synced
So gardening, thats good. Lawn care
    and drought.
  • Not Synced
I don't know if you guys knew that
USU has a whole website about drought
  • Not Synced
and how to take care, and even like
not even just like lawn care stuff
  • Not Synced
but how to save water in your own home.
  • Not Synced
So I'll be making some posts about
    that as well.
  • Not Synced
So you can just put those out there.
  • Not Synced
    [to self] post about lawn.
  • Not Synced
    [laughs] Goat heads.
  • Not Synced
My husband came home with a goat head
    in his shoe.
  • Not Synced
And I was like, I'm not
    starting this yet.
  • Not Synced
No, it's not going to happen for me.
  • Not Synced
What about my Southern Utah people?
  • Not Synced
I know Northern Utah fairly well.
  • Not Synced
    But what're things happening
    in Southern Utah?
  • Not Synced
I don't get down there enough.
  • Not Synced
    Oh canning?
  • Not Synced
    What're people canning right now
    Diane?
  • Not Synced
DIANE: We've had a lot of calls about
    chicken for some reason.
  • Not Synced
    Canning chicken.
  • Not Synced
    >> Oh chicken. Oh okay.
    That's a good one.
  • Not Synced
    >> And then we get a lot of calls about
    testing their lids.
  • Not Synced
    For some reason everybody in
    Washington County has been
  • Not Synced
    inheriting pressure canners or finding
    them in their parents garages
  • Not Synced
and they're disappointed when the gage
is off, but anyway things like that.
  • Not Synced
We get a lot of those questions.
  • Not Synced
    >> Okay.
    >> And I know that Rick,
  • Not Synced
our water culture guy, is getting a lot
    of calls about watering,
  • Not Synced
    and about planting gardens,
and starting seeds, and things like that.
  • Not Synced
    >> Okay, no that's awesome.
  • Not Synced
I do know that Southern Utah is usually head.
  • Not Synced
They're in a different zone than us
    for gardening.
  • Not Synced
So I try to specify as much as I can.
  • Not Synced
"Hey this is for zone this
    if you're doing it"
  • Not Synced
I asked Nick Felesky and we've got a post
    going out in April about
  • Not Synced
"You're going to start seeing insects
    already in Southern Utah."
  • Not Synced
    Canning food. That's awesome.
  • Not Synced
So you could do a post about "What do
you do if you inherit a pressure canner?"
  • Not Synced
Make a checklist. Like here's all the
things you should do to make sure
  • Not Synced
that it's ready to go for when
    you want to can.
  • Not Synced
Or why you should follow a,
is it Bluebell is that the canning brand?
  • Not Synced
    That you should follow...
    when...
  • Not Synced
Why you should follow this recipe
    when you're canning chicken
  • Not Synced
and not what his influencer online
    says about canning.
  • Not Synced
    >> And that's actually a lot I've been
getting is people said they saw online.
  • Not Synced
    But you're getting Bluebell icecream
    mixed up with...
  • Not Synced
    >> Is that what, thank you.
  • Not Synced
    >> But it would be nice if we had Bluebell
    ice cream here in Utah.
  • Not Synced
    >> I know. You're right.
  • Not Synced
    >> I'm still getting, and Melanie
    might be able to speak,
  • Not Synced
    I'm getting calls about where
    to find lids.
  • Not Synced
We still don't find a lot of lids
    down here for canning.
  • Not Synced
We can find the lids for jars.
    >> Lids.
  • Not Synced
    >> But not lids on their own.
  • Not Synced
WOMAN 3: Yeah I saw your email about
    that Andrea.
  • Not Synced
That would probably be good to talk about.
  • Not Synced
And I know the ball website says
    that the 8 vendors
  • Not Synced
    that they are actually
    selling to specifically.
  • Not Synced
So like Ace hardware store and Walmart,
    maybe not Walmart,
  • Not Synced
    but Target, anyways.
  • Not Synced
There are like 8 vendors nationally
    that they have prioritized.
  • Not Synced
So those would be the places you
would want to tell people to try first.
  • Not Synced
But yeah, that would be a good idea.
  • Not Synced
    We can throw together a
little post together on that quickly.
  • Not Synced
    ALISHA: That's a good idea.
  • Not Synced
I know there's a lot of, are stores still
    doing case lot sales everywhere?
  • Not Synced
I know Cache Valley's are kind
    of waining down.
  • Not Synced
DIANE: We have one going right now at
    Smiths down here.
  • Not Synced
And Lynn's. Lynn's which is our associated
    food store.
  • Not Synced
    They've just finished
theirs a week or so ago.
  • Not Synced
    >> Cause when those come around,
    those are crazy.
  • Not Synced
You can talk about how to...
  • Not Synced
    Think your younger demographic
    a little bit,
  • Not Synced
    cause they've probably never learned
how to do a food storage.
  • Not Synced
So think my age. Maybe we have one young,
  • Not Synced
I have a half cooked baby right now,
    we're pregnant.
  • Not Synced
    Think like your younger demographic
who are just starting their food storage.
  • Not Synced
And pose yourself as the expert on that.
  • Not Synced
Like "Hey are you just starting out?
Here's an easy way to do food storage.
  • Not Synced
    Store it under your bed.
    Here's your essentials."
  • Not Synced
I always joke with my mom that my food
    storage plan is tennis shoes
  • Not Synced
to walk to her house. Cause she's like
    6 miles away.
  • Not Synced
So that's my food storage. Not really.
  • Not Synced
But how to safely build up, or build up your
    food storage
  • Not Synced
without breaking the bank, you know,
    spending all this money.
  • Not Synced
    So there's another thing.
  • Not Synced
As far as your lawn care and drought,
  • Not Synced
also remember we're going to have
    a lot of people
  • Not Synced
who don't own their own homes they don't
    own lawns.
  • Not Synced
    I don't have a lawn,
    I don't have a garden.
  • Not Synced
We live in an HOA community.
  • Not Synced
So how can you post about drought
    so that they feel
  • Not Synced
    like they're contributing as well.
  • Not Synced
Are their washer and dryer tips?
  • Not Synced
Let me post this Sewell website
    in the chat.
  • Not Synced
It has supper good information for all
    those things.
  • Not Synced
Because drought is something that people
    are worried about.
  • Not Synced
    There's that.
    There's that.
  • Not Synced
    Some thoughts that I had
is people are going to be asking
  • Not Synced
    about their soils soon.
  • Not Synced
Like what can I add to it?
  • Not Synced
    What's the word?
  • Not Synced
A strategy that I saw at social
    media world that I liked
  • Not Synced
was they didn't post the link on Facebook.
  • Not Synced
The put and little caption and
    a little graphic
  • Not Synced
and they said check out the comments
    for more information.
  • Not Synced
They put the link in the comments.
  • Not Synced
And so people had to take that next step,
  • Not Synced
    which boosted their
    post in the algorithm.
  • Not Synced
    So that's something.
  • Not Synced
    You comment below the link.
So it's not just sitting in the post.
  • Not Synced
    Those do well.
  • Not Synced
Yeah. I'm trying to think if
    there's anything else.
  • Not Synced
Honestly, you guys are supper great.
  • Not Synced
    Oh! Container gardening!
    And 5 gallon bucket tomatoes!
  • Not Synced
Can you grow a tomato in a
    5 gallon bucket?
  • Not Synced
    Can you grow potatoes or
    spinach?
  • Not Synced
    Or maybe even talk
  • Not Synced
Why growing your own food, it might not
save you a ton if it's a small apartment,
  • Not Synced
but it's good for the soul.
  • Not Synced
    I love having fresh herbs.
  • Not Synced
That's a good one. Container Gardening.
  • Not Synced
Another thing, if you're having a
problem with figuring out what to post,
  • Not Synced
is to do a google search that's like
how can I save water during a drought?
  • Not Synced
    And then on google there's
    other frequently asked questions.
  • Not Synced
And that gives you some really good
    places to start.
  • Not Synced
So if I did that right now,
  • Not Synced
How to save water in a drought?
  • Not Synced
    People always ask
"What're ten ways to save water?"
  • Not Synced
    "How do people get water?"
    "What're ways to save water?"
  • Not Synced
Something that we learned at the
    social media conference is
  • Not Synced
put your tips in odd numbers.
  • Not Synced
    So "my number one tip"
three tips, five tips, seven tips.
  • Not Synced
So people know exactly what they're
getting into when they start it.
  • Not Synced
So yeah, that's a good one.
  • Not Synced
    I'm sure, maybe it's my 4H background,
    but I'm sure you're getting
  • Not Synced
4H kids asking about livestock projects.
  • Not Synced
Tagging, what supplies I actually need
to raise a lamb for the fair,
  • Not Synced
how do I get involved in clubs?
  • Not Synced
    WOMAN 4: Turkey's right now.
  • Not Synced
    We're getting turkey questions in
    our office.
  • Not Synced
    >> Oh yeah. That turkey project
    is insane.
  • Not Synced
    I'm really grateful I don't do that.
    They're gross.
  • Not Synced
    Anyway, okay.
  • Not Synced
I think that was all I really
    wanted to cover
  • Not Synced
    was just some basic things.
  • Not Synced
Like I said, if you have specific
questions and you need some help,
  • Not Synced
    please reach out to me.
  • Not Synced
That's what I love doing is helping
    you guys be successful
  • Not Synced
on your social media because it is
    important for us.
  • Not Synced
    That's, honestly, where people go.
  • Not Synced
    Especially my demographic.
  • Not Synced
We go to these social media sights to
    built trust.
  • Not Synced
And ultimately, social media is to
    build trust in your following.
  • Not Synced
And it's to tout yourself as the
    expert in these fields.
  • Not Synced
We talked a lot about niching down.
