We Need To Stop China NOW

  • 0:00 - 0:00
    [Music]
  • 0:00 - 0:03
The CCP just gave us a real live trailer
  • 0:03 - 0:05
    for World War III.
  • 0:05 - 0:08
It doesn't end well for America.
  • 0:08 - 0:10
Welcome to China Uncensored. I'm Chris Chapel.
  • 0:10 - 0:13
Let me just start off by saying YouTube is
  • 0:13 - 0:15
definitely not going to like this episode
  • 0:15 - 0:17
. In fact, lots of our episodes
  • 0:17 - 0:20
get hidden by YouTube's restricted mode.
  • 0:20 - 0:20
    Check it out.
  • 0:20 - 0:23
    Here's our channel unrestricted.
  • 0:23 - 0:25
And here it is on restricted mode.
  • 0:25 - 0:27
    Notice the difference.
  • 0:27 - 0:29
    Lots of episodes just disappear.
  • 0:29 - 0:31
    So, if you haven't already,
  • 0:31 - 0:33
go up to your profile picture, click on it,
  • 0:33 - 0:35
and go down to restricted mode.
  • 0:35 - 0:39
Make sure that's turned off so YouTube will stop hiding
  • 0:39 - 0:42
    controversial topics from you.
  • 0:42 - 0:43
    And while you're at it,
  • 0:43 - 0:46
be sure to subscribe because YouTube has a habit of
  • 0:46 - 0:48
unsubscribing our viewers without telling them
  • 0:48 - 0:50
. Or if this is all too much hassle
  • 0:50 - 0:53
, you could just say screw YouTube entirely
  • 0:53 - 0:56
and head over to our website, chinaunensored.tv.
  • 0:56 - 0:58
There you can check out every episode
  • 0:58 - 1:02
we post from all our shows as well as get exclusive deep dives
  • 1:02 - 1:03
    , live streams,
  • 1:03 - 1:05
and the ability to talk with me and the team
  • 1:05 - 1:08
    . That's chinaunensored.tv.
  • 1:08 - 1:10
    So on September 3rd,
  • 1:10 - 1:13
the Chinese Communist Party staged a massive military parade
  • 1:13 - 1:15
    to mark the 80th anniversary
  • 1:15 - 1:17
of the end of World War II.
  • 1:17 - 1:21
Officially, it was about celebrating victory over Japan
  • 1:21 - 1:22
    and unofficially
  • 1:22 - 1:24
    victory over Tianaan Square,
  • 1:24 - 1:27
where nothing bad has ever happened.
  • 1:27 - 1:30
But let's be real, this was about showing the world
  • 1:30 - 1:32
    the CCP's latest toys.
  • 1:32 - 1:36
    But these toys are deadly.
  • 1:36 - 1:39
Actually, so are a lot of toys made in China
  • 1:39 - 1:40
. But but the point is,
  • 1:40 - 1:44
the CCP puts some of their biggest and deadliest weapons on display
  • 1:44 - 1:46
. Let's start with the star of the show
  • 1:46 - 1:48
, China's new unmanned fighter jets
  • 1:48 - 1:51
. These aren't your average drones
  • 1:51 - 1:55
. These are sixthg generation cooperative combat aircraft
  • 1:55 - 1:57
    . Fighter sized, highly maneuverable,
  • 1:57 - 2:01
loaded with missiles, and designed to be controlled remotely
  • 2:01 - 2:04
    by J20 stealth fighters.
  • 2:04 - 2:06
The strategy is a simple one.
  • 2:06 - 2:10
One piloted J20 flies in front while three or four
  • 2:10 - 2:13
unmanned fighters swoop in from the sides or the back
  • 2:13 - 2:14
    . It's basically the
  • 2:14 - 2:17
    Velociraptor strategy from Jurassic Park
  • 2:17 - 2:19
. So yeah, if the US Air Force
  • 2:19 - 2:21
    scrambles fighters to defend Taiwan,
  • 2:21 - 2:24
they might not just be facing Chinese pilots
  • 2:24 - 2:28
. They could be facing an AI powered Raptor pack
  • 2:28 - 2:31
. Of course, what's a parade without missiles
  • 2:31 - 2:34
, not just any missiles, hypersonic missiles.
  • 2:34 - 2:39
These things travel at least five times the speed of sound
  • 2:39 - 2:41
    , which makes them much,
  • 2:41 - 2:42
much harder for missile defense systems
  • 2:42 - 2:44
    to detect and intercept,
  • 2:44 - 2:46
    which is the whole point.
  • 2:46 - 2:52
The CCB also showed off the DF-61 and DF5C ICBMs.
  • 2:52 - 2:55
Those are the ones that are launched so high
  • 2:55 - 2:57
they go above the Earth's atmosphere
  • 2:57 - 2:59
and rain down on another continent
  • 2:59 - 3:02
. Plus, they had new anti-hship
  • 3:02 - 3:06
hypersonics designed to take out US aircraft carriers
  • 3:06 - 3:06
    . That's right.
  • 3:06 - 3:10
China built missiles specifically designed to kill
  • 3:10 - 3:14
the most expensive things America owns.
  • 3:14 - 3:17
America used to be untouchable in the Pacific
  • 3:17 - 3:20
. Now, one missile launch from China
  • 3:20 - 3:24
could destroy a$13 billion aircraft carrier
  • 3:24 - 3:26
. And then there are tanks
  • 3:26 - 3:29
    , specifically China's new type 100 tank
  • 3:29 - 3:32
. Think of it as the Tesla of tanks.
  • 3:32 - 3:34
    It's lighter than older models,
  • 3:34 - 3:35
    has an unmanned turret,
  • 3:35 - 3:40
an active defense system, and even a hybrid diesel electric engine
  • 3:40 - 3:41
    . It'll kill you,
  • 3:41 - 3:44
    but at least it's eco-friendly.
  • 3:44 - 3:47
This tank also comes with AI targeting,
  • 3:47 - 3:51
able to pick out a soldier hiding in a window 20 stories up
  • 3:51 - 3:53
. It's built for urban combat
  • 3:53 - 3:56
, which might come in handy for, say
  • 3:56 - 3:59
    , an invasion of Taiwan.
  • 3:59 - 4:01
Finally, let's talk about the ocean
  • 4:01 - 4:04
    because China is making waves,
  • 4:04 - 4:06
    literally, with its drone, submarines,
  • 4:06 - 4:07
    and naval expansion.
  • 4:07 - 4:12
These unmanned underwater vehicles can sneak beneath carrier groups
  • 4:12 - 4:14
. Combine that with China's navy
  • 4:14 - 4:16
, already the largest in the world by ship count
  • 4:16 - 4:17
    , and you've got a
  • 4:17 - 4:20
country that can project power across
  • 4:20 - 4:24
the Pacific in ways we never imagined a decade ago.
  • 4:24 - 4:25
Now, I know for a long time,
  • 4:25 - 4:28
reports have questioned whether China's military
  • 4:28 - 4:30
is really as effective as it looks
  • 4:30 - 4:31
. And being able to march in
  • 4:31 - 4:34
perfect unison might be visually impressive
  • 4:34 - 4:38
, but it doesn't necessarily translate into combat readiness,
  • 4:38 - 4:40
especially when the training for these parade soldiers
  • 4:40 - 4:42
    focuses on using needles
  • 4:42 - 4:45
to force them into perfect poise.
  • 4:45 - 4:48
But still, we can't look at all of this and
  • 4:48 - 4:51
assume that China's just a paper tiger
  • 4:51 - 4:53
with all bark and no bite anymore.
  • 4:53 - 4:57
They have serious weapons, and some of them
  • 4:57 - 5:00
are more advanced than the US.
  • 5:00 - 5:02
And China's Victory Day parade wasn't
  • 5:02 - 5:03
    just about weapons.
  • 5:03 - 5:05
    It was about intimidation.
  • 5:05 - 5:10
Yes, nothing says we're peaceful like goosestepping past nuclear missiles
  • 5:10 - 5:11
. And to make sure nobody missed the point,
  • 5:11 - 5:14
    Xi Jinping invited his BFFs,
  • 5:14 - 5:17
    Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.
  • 5:17 - 5:19
It's the world's worst boy band,
  • 5:19 - 5:21
    dictator direction.
  • 5:21 - 5:24
So, the biggest baddies are lining up behind China
  • 5:24 - 5:26
    . And China's military is a
  • 5:26 - 5:28
lot more powerful than most people realized
  • 5:28 - 5:31
. And the US is woefully
  • 5:31 - 5:32
    unprepared to deal with it.
  • 5:32 - 5:36
Meanwhile, America is busy arguing about Tik Tok bans
  • 5:36 - 5:38
, which is ironic since Tik Tok
  • 5:38 - 5:41
might actually be China's most successful weapon so far
  • 5:41 - 5:42
    . The point is,
  • 5:42 - 5:45
I hope seeing this parade of military might
  • 5:45 - 5:48
wakes people up and makes them want to actually do something
  • 5:48 - 5:51
. We need to stop the CCP now.
  • 5:51 - 5:55
Otherwise, our children and our grandchildren might be
  • 5:55 - 5:57
dying in a war against China.
  • 5:57 - 6:00
Sometimes I feel like Cassandra screaming into the void
  • 6:00 - 6:03
because just when you thought US policy couldn't get any dumber
  • 6:03 - 6:06
, it turns out the Pentagon actually helped fund
  • 6:06 - 6:08
    some of China's military research,
  • 6:08 - 6:10
including in the past 5 years,
  • 6:10 - 6:12
billions in defense grants ended up in projects
  • 6:12 - 6:16
with Chinese universities tied to the PLA
  • 6:16 - 6:20
. Hypersonics, AI, quantum tech, you name it.
  • 6:20 - 6:22
    So congratulations, America.
  • 6:22 - 6:25
We didn't just buy cheap junk from China.
  • 6:25 - 6:28
We literally paid for the missiles aimed at us.
  • 6:28 - 6:32
    USA number one.
  • 6:32 - 6:35
China already has at least 600 nuclear warheads
  • 6:35 - 6:38
and they're stockpiling them faster than ever
  • 6:38 - 6:39
    . They're coordinating
  • 6:39 - 6:41
    with Russia and North Korea.
  • 6:41 - 6:44
They have advanced fighter planes and their navy
  • 6:44 - 6:47
is bigger and may be deadlier than the US Navy.
  • 6:47 - 6:49
That's why within a decade or less
  • 6:49 - 6:51
, the oceans that have protected
  • 6:51 - 6:55
America for centuries may no longer keep us safe
  • 6:55 - 6:57
. Now, some people argue that
  • 6:57 - 7:00
communist China is a house of cards.
  • 7:00 - 7:05
I have also argued that it's true they have a lot of weak points
  • 7:05 - 7:08
like the failing economy, social problems,
  • 7:08 - 7:09
    corruption, you name it.
  • 7:09 - 7:14
But military power is the glue holding that house of cards together
  • 7:14 - 7:15
. And it's very strong glue
  • 7:15 - 7:18
. If the Chinese people believe the
  • 7:18 - 7:20
party can win the next war,
  • 7:20 - 7:21
    they'll march along.
  • 7:21 - 7:24
If they see this display of might from the CCP,
  • 7:24 - 7:27
they'll be too scared to step out of line.
  • 7:27 - 7:30
    That's why these parades matter.
  • 7:30 - 7:31
    So, here's my point.
  • 7:31 - 7:37
America can't just keep trading with China and hope the CCP will reform.
  • 7:37 - 7:40
It can't even just sit back and hope the CCP will collapse
  • 7:40 - 7:41
    . If the US government
  • 7:41 - 7:45
waits another decade before treating China as a serious military threat
  • 7:45 - 7:48
, the balance of power in Asia could flip forever
  • 7:48 - 7:51
. The CCP will take Taiwan.
  • 7:51 - 7:54
    But that's just the beginning.
  • 7:54 - 7:56
    Well, Tibet was the beginning.
  • 7:56 - 7:57
And then there was Hong Kong.
  • 7:57 - 8:02
But the point is, the CCP will not stop until the entire world
  • 8:02 - 8:04
    agrees to bow before it.
  • 8:04 - 8:08
But hey, maybe if America just signs a trade deal with China
  • 8:08 - 8:10
    , they'll stop building missiles.
  • 8:10 - 8:12
That's how international relations work, right?
  • 8:12 - 8:14
    So, what do you think?
  • 8:14 - 8:17
Should America take China's military buildup seriously
  • 8:17 - 8:20
, or should we just wait until the parade includes a Death Star?
  • 8:20 - 8:22
    Leave your comments below.
  • 8:22 - 8:26
Once again, I'm Chris Chapel. Thank you for watching China Uncensored.
