today, we are in Shinjuku Station,
heading to Hakone.

Since it's morning time on the weekday,
there are much fewer people in Shinjuku.

In the afternoon time, it will be
more and more people here though.

firstly let me show you guys
how to get to Odakyu Line.

we are at East exit.
it's a little bit far from here

Odakyu Line's entrance is in
the west part of Shinjuku.

it is one of the easiest and
fastest way to go to Hakone.

if you are heading to Hakone from Tokyo,

I recommend to use the Odakyu Line.

so this is the way to go.

basically you just need to follow this blue sign.

Shinjuku station is a complicated station

but there is a clear sign

so maybe you can find it easily

and here we go

this is the entrance of this station

we need to use the special rapid train
going to Hakone from Shinjuku.

and I just reserved the ticket

this EMot pass is the easiest way to go.

I can just simply scan the code
over here, and we can go.

So, Hakone 7.
That's the train we got to take.

Leaving from track number 2. So, here.

"Limited Express Romancecar."

Haha, that's a good name, huh.

Seems like there are many travelers
heading to Hakone, too.

so basically you need to pay extra.

if you don't have the internet access,
you can buy it here as well.

Express ticket costs 1,200 Japanese yen.

additionally, you have to pay train fare.

so, altogether, it costs about
2,400 Japanese yen.

but today, I got this Hakone Free Pass,

which include the Shinjuku Station to
Hakone Yumoto Station's train ticket.

So, I just had to pay for the express fee.

all right here we go.

it's my first time to use it.
it's a big train with big window.

to the Nozomi Shinkansen.

so if you want to eat station
bento or something,

you can eat over here.

and the reclining button over here

but seems like there is no power outlet.

you can't charge it here

you just need to bring the mobile battery

in Tokyo, 26°C. Wind is 3 m/s.

however hakone will be on the
mountain, so it will be cooler

to hakone Yumoto station

in Hakone-Yumoto Station,
there's coin lockers

but seems like it's all used

however there's a baggage delivery service too

our first destination, it's hakone Shrine

but hopefully we can
eat lunch in here though

if you have a hakone pass QR code,
you just need to scan here

so we need to take a bus from there

but beforehand, let's explore
the Hakone-Yumato station.

there is souvenir shops and
restaurant street over there

that's what I heard

by the way there are coin lockers outside too

however, [if] it's in the weekend,

probably you can't find the place though

Hakone Shrine is located almost
top of the mountain

so if we get there, probably
it's hard to find a restaurant

however it was run by grandpa and grandma

and they were really friendly as well

because it took a while to serve the food,

to serve the food, sorry.

and I was like, "No, no, no,
please don't mind."

anyways, it was a nice, local
atmosphere's restaurant.

and the price is good too.

if you want to enjoy the
local retro atmosphere,

maybe you can visit there.

to go to the shrine.

but beforehand I want to go to the restroom

the bus stop is right next to the station.

all right let's go to the bus stop.

our bus supposed to leaving
in 3 minutes

The bus cost 1,030 Japanese yen
for one way.

Hakone Free Pass, it's free.

seems like there are many restaurants
and shops over here.

Katsudon is about 2,000 Japanese yen.

So, it's kind of like similar price.

the tendon is also 2,000 japanes yen, too.

to make a reservation

going to the pirate ship, so...

for riding on the regular seat

it has over 1,260 years history

Many samurai who created
Japan's era and history

came over here to pray.

there is a national flower
symbol of Japan,

chrysanthemum, over there, too.

So, that's one the popular spot over here.

actually you can drink the water,

and you can bring back to the home.

so maybe next time though

after going down the stairs,

there is one of the most popular
photo spot, Heiwanotorii, over there

so must be this is the way

It was a very nice interesting
culture different moment.

so if you want to stand in front,

But in the weekend,

probably, there will be so many people

because in the regular seats
are a little bit crowded.

So, if you just don't want to,
you know, be in crowd much,

probably, you can get
this first class ticket.

But, you know, if you had
the 700 Japanese yen,

you could buy two that fancy
monaka ice cream, too.

So, yeah. Always, there's an option.

however one sad thing is that the smell of the room

you know usually this kind of hotel

if you pay this much money there is a good smell

however I don't know the reason why

maybe the room smell or maybe the seat smell

but it's not that great

you know so that's the only negative thing

but except that I'm pretty satisfied including the dinner

so tomorrow we will have the break first

and also we will use the ropeway

and explore the more you know the ballet area

not only the upper hotel and it will be more fun right

but this Place smells so bad especially beside the bed

and he told me it might be the sulfur

because there's the mountain beside it

So eventually I got the new room

which seems like it's a biger one

and this place smells much better

so probably I guess

that room over there wasn't cleaned enough much

especially the bed side

anyways I feel so bad

about there was pretty good and then very polite as well
