Wheelchair How To: Steep Ramp (T5 complete paraplegic)

Alright, guys.

Another quick video to help my wheelchair people out. I'm at

my mom's house and she's got 3 steps to get in.

She doesn't have a built in ramp like I do at my house. So she bought this 5 foot aluminum folding

ramp that she can just, you know, fold and put here or put up when I

come over. So, let me just get into it, and, I'll explain as I go.

So I come up the curb on the side door. And it's important to know, like, don't have anything

big or pretty much anything at all on your lap. Because, I pretty much have to kiss my knees

to get up without

hands in the front of your wheels.

And then on the way down just do a nice steady wheelie.

Hop down the curb.

And that's about it. If you have any questions, comments, or

the ramp, It's just right out the curb. It's a folding, and it's got

a lift right there that hangs on the ledge.

And then you can fold it up and, you know, pack it away when you're done. Alright.
