  • 0:04 - 0:04
  • 0:45 - 0:46
and how to elevate it times 1,000,
  • 0:46 - 0:48
and the, like structure I like on my body,
  • 0:48 - 0:50
and the shapes that I love for my body,
  • 0:50 - 0:53
    the colors that I feel
    are really complementary.
  • 0:53 - 0:55
    - She has such a good
idea of like who she is
  • 0:55 - 0:57
    in the best way
    [Sabrina chuckles]
  • 0:57 - 0:58
    in an amazing way.
  • 0:58 - 1:02
We started working on tour looks,
  • 1:02 - 1:05
    summer, I think, like,
    July after Coachella.
  • 1:05 - 1:07
    - Yeah, like we have
    so much time for this.
  • 1:07 - 1:09
    - Years, but actually, it came together.
  • 1:09 - 1:12
Like I think that was a
    perfect amount of time.
  • 1:12 - 1:14
    - Yeah, I really started to think about
  • 1:14 - 1:18
like what am I gonna be
able to last in on stage?
  • 1:18 - 1:21
What is going to look really great
  • 1:21 - 1:22
from the people that are all the way
  • 1:22 - 1:24
    in, you know, the nosebleeds
  • 1:24 - 1:26
to the person that's in the front row?
  • 1:26 - 1:29
    This was my first time
    doing wardrobe changes
  • 1:29 - 1:30
    on tour, truthfully.
  • 1:30 - 1:32
    - Also, the nice thing
    is that very early on,
  • 1:32 - 1:34
you were like, "I want all the looks
  • 1:34 - 1:36
"to be exactly the same for each act,
  • 1:36 - 1:38
    "but just change colors
    throughout the shows."
  • 1:38 - 1:41
    - The way we change it up is
    through colors and details
  • 1:41 - 1:43
    and accessories and like
    little things here and there,
  • 1:43 - 1:45
so that way I always know
  • 1:45 - 1:46
what I'm getting into every night,
  • 1:46 - 1:48
    but the audience can feel
  • 1:48 - 1:50
    like they're seeing
    something new consistently.
  • 1:50 - 1:51
At the end of the day,
  • 1:51 - 1:53
like I have to just be so
    comfortable in the outfits,
  • 1:53 - 1:57
and if I'm not, like the
    performance is two outta 10,
  • 1:57 - 2:00
so first comes like comfort level,
  • 2:00 - 2:02
    then comes like what
can we do for the girls,
  • 2:02 - 2:05
and then comes like, you know,
how can we round this out
  • 2:05 - 2:07
and make this feel so unique?
  • 2:07 - 2:08
    Maybe it's flipping order.
  • 2:08 - 2:10
Maybe it's the second and then
the third is for the girls.
  • 2:10 - 2:11
Like I feel like for the girls,
  • 2:11 - 2:13
    it's like the lyrics and
    the tights and the little,
  • 2:13 - 2:16
    - Yeah, that's true.
    - You know, the shoes,
  • 2:16 - 2:17
    the little Easter eggs.
  • 2:17 - 2:19
    - Act one, she's coming out of a bathtub.
  • 2:19 - 2:21
    - Naturally.
    - Yes, of course.
  • 2:21 - 2:23
Doesn't know that the show's happening,
  • 2:23 - 2:25
is in a towel, and the vibe is like,
  • 2:25 - 2:27
oh my god, I have nothing to wear.
  • 2:27 - 2:29
And you open it, look amazing.
  • 2:29 - 2:30
    - Have something to wear.
  • 2:30 - 2:32
So that the towel was a-
  • 2:32 - 2:33
    - The towel was a thing.
  • 2:33 - 2:34
    - We found an old reference
    of someone doing it
  • 2:34 - 2:38
    with a jacket, and she
    basically reveals the jacket,
  • 2:38 - 2:41
    and inside the jacket, it's
the same color as the dress.
  • 2:41 - 2:45
    So then, once we started
    to create the introduction
  • 2:45 - 2:48
    for the show, I really
wanted to be in a towel,
  • 2:48 - 2:48
but I was like, "Ah, that means
  • 2:48 - 2:49
"I gotta be naked under there.
  • 2:49 - 2:51
    "I don't wanna be naked.
  • 2:51 - 2:52
    "It's a lot of work."
  • 2:52 - 2:55
    Then we thought about doing
    strapless corseted body suit
  • 2:55 - 2:56
    to hide, you know,
  • 2:56 - 2:58
    and then the towel's
    the reveal of the show.
  • 2:58 - 3:00
And it makes it fun every night for people
  • 3:00 - 3:02
to see what color I'm gonna come out in.
  • 3:02 - 3:04
I think the towel was the only outfit
  • 3:04 - 3:06
we had for a long time, yeah.
  • 3:06 - 3:07
    - That's not wrong.
  • 3:07 - 3:09
    [both laugh]
  • 3:09 - 3:10
    - The corseted outfits
    are a little bit harder
  • 3:10 - 3:12
    to dance in because
    there's a stiffness to it,
  • 3:12 - 3:15
    but my waist is
    non-existent, so we love her.
  • 3:15 - 3:17
    - And then midway through the first song,
  • 3:17 - 3:19
puts a baby doll dress on.
  • 3:19 - 3:21
    - [Sabrina] And I remember being
so excited when I was like,
  • 3:21 - 3:23
    "I'm gonna get to wear
    a baby doll on stage
  • 3:23 - 3:24
    "'cause it feels like pajamas."
  • 3:24 - 3:26
    Like it's so comfortable.
  • 3:26 - 3:28
So when I throw that on over the corset,
  • 3:28 - 3:31
    I have no insecurities, no
    like thoughts about anything
  • 3:31 - 3:34
    'cause I'm just so comfortable
    in those little dresses.
  • 3:34 - 3:37
    - I mean baby doll, that was like a motif
  • 3:37 - 3:40
that I feel like has been here
    throughout the whole album.
  • 3:40 - 3:41
    - Because we started with "SNL."
  • 3:41 - 3:43
I think it was the first
    like true baby doll.
  • 3:43 - 3:45
    - For a performance, yeah.
    - Yeah, for a dress
  • 3:45 - 3:46
    that we did.
  • 3:46 - 3:50
    - Brigitte Bardot, such good
baby dolls in like the 60s.
  • 3:50 - 3:51
She's a great reference for baby dolls
  • 3:51 - 3:54
    that we were looking at,
    and it's kind of like,
  • 3:54 - 3:55
I mean, you know better than me,
  • 3:55 - 3:56
    but girlies getting ready.
  • 3:56 - 3:58
    - It's like "Grease" in the bedroom
  • 3:58 - 3:59
and all the girls are getting ready.
  • 3:59 - 4:01
    I think it was really
    inspired by "Bye bye Birdie,"
  • 4:01 - 4:03
and she's like dancing around her room.
  • 4:03 - 4:06
And I think like stuff like that,
  • 4:06 - 4:08
it felt very beneficial to the set.
  • 4:08 - 4:10
    Act one is really set
  • 4:10 - 4:13
    in the main kind of
    living room, living space.
  • 4:13 - 4:14
And so this like getting ready
  • 4:14 - 4:16
for this party is kind of happening.
  • 4:16 - 4:18
    It's like right before sunset.
  • 4:18 - 4:19
Like our main screen for the show
  • 4:19 - 4:21
    is a window pretty consistently.
  • 4:21 - 4:23
And so you start to see the colors change
  • 4:23 - 4:25
as it gets later and later.
  • 4:25 - 4:29
    And the whole show takes
    us through one night.
  • 4:29 - 4:31
It's inspired by "Playboy After Dark,"
  • 4:31 - 4:32
    but it's Sabrina After Dark.
  • 4:34 - 4:37
    Act two is obviously
    like the cocktail hour,
  • 4:37 - 4:38
    and it's where things
    are starting to heat up.
  • 4:38 - 4:41
    Everyone's like a little
    tipsy, not too crazy,
  • 4:41 - 4:42
but like, you know, the band starts
  • 4:42 - 4:44
to get a little more jazzy.
  • 4:44 - 4:47
    Our renditions and arrangements change,
  • 4:47 - 4:50
    but then the next outfit
    is like not corseted.
  • 4:50 - 4:51
That's the one where I'm doing the bulk
  • 4:51 - 4:53
I would say of like the movement
  • 4:53 - 4:54
in the show is in the second act.
  • 4:54 - 4:56
So having the catsuit in that act
  • 4:56 - 4:58
has been really helpful for movement.
  • 4:58 - 5:00
    - We were looking at Marilyn Monroe wears
  • 5:00 - 5:02
    a good amount of catsuits.
  • 5:02 - 5:05
    There's one from "There's No
    Business Like Show Business."
  • 5:05 - 5:07
It's slack with a teal sash,
  • 5:07 - 5:09
and she's in a little dancer heel.
  • 5:09 - 5:11
    And like-
    - We tried the sash
  • 5:11 - 5:12
    - That didn't go well.
  • 5:12 - 5:13
    - Even like I was always really inspired
  • 5:13 - 5:15
by like Audrey Hepburn in "Funny Face"
  • 5:15 - 5:18
because of how classic and minimal
  • 5:18 - 5:19
and how much she's moving in that movie,
  • 5:19 - 5:21
and you can really see her
    movements because of the black.
  • 5:21 - 5:23
And it just looked so sleek.
  • 5:23 - 5:24
    It was always really exciting
  • 5:24 - 5:27
that it could be black and snatched.
  • 5:27 - 5:30
    And then you added the
    gloves and little details,
  • 5:30 - 5:33
and that's what's made it feel
kind of more unique to me.
  • 5:33 - 5:36
    My changes are just a
    little under two minutes.
  • 5:36 - 5:38
    They're pretty fast, but
    that's why I also try
  • 5:38 - 5:41
    to make the visuals very
    meaningful in between
  • 5:41 - 5:44
    so that wardrobe changes
    don't feel so like...
  • 5:45 - 5:47
    Technically within the first
    look, there's two looks
  • 5:47 - 5:48
    'cause you have the corset
    - That's true.
  • 5:48 - 5:49
    - Without the baby doll.
  • 5:49 - 5:51
Then we put the baby doll on.
  • 5:51 - 5:53
Second look, we have the feather reveal
  • 5:53 - 5:54
    where we have-
    - There's like a feather
  • 5:54 - 5:58
    that's snapped onto the
catsuit that you do a twirl.
  • 5:58 - 6:01
    - Do a twirl and it gets
    pulled off every night,
  • 6:01 - 6:03
and then we rotate those feather colors.
  • 6:03 - 6:06
And then in the third act,
  • 6:06 - 6:09
    [laughs] we really wanted
    to do this skirt reveal,
  • 6:09 - 6:13
    but I was like there
ain't no way I can sing
  • 6:13 - 6:15
more than one song in this long skirt
  • 6:15 - 6:16
    'cause it's so damn heavy.
  • 6:16 - 6:17
    - No one knows this.
  • 6:17 - 6:18
    They're so heavy.
  • 6:18 - 6:22
    - They're so heavy.
    - And that one is like Abba,
  • 6:22 - 6:23
    I feel like, inspired.
  • 6:23 - 6:24
    - Mhm, we went to the Abba show,
  • 6:24 - 6:26
the Abba Voyage Show in London.
  • 6:26 - 6:30
There was this one fabric that
one of the girls was wearing.
  • 6:30 - 6:32
It was so gorgeous and it was like liquidy
  • 6:32 - 6:34
and it just moved and it was a hologram.
  • 6:34 - 6:36
I was like, "I need that goddamn outfit.
  • 6:36 - 6:38
    "Like it's so beautiful,"
    but it wasn't real.
  • 6:38 - 6:43
So I was just like, "We need
to do our own version of this.:
  • 6:43 - 6:44
    - It's all consistent.
  • 6:44 - 6:47
So act one is all done
    by Victoria's Secret.
  • 6:47 - 6:48
Act two is all done by Patou.
  • 6:48 - 6:51
And then Act three is all
    Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
  • 6:51 - 6:52
    - But we have like a few shows
  • 6:52 - 6:55
where it feels like the teams
  • 6:55 - 6:57
    are a really, really
    big part of that state
  • 6:57 - 6:59
and like really important to them.
  • 6:59 - 7:02
    I just always love to
    show love to those teams.
  • 7:02 - 7:04
    I'm really, really grateful
    that for this show,
  • 7:04 - 7:05
it feels like I don't have to stress
  • 7:05 - 7:08
    about, you know, what's
    going on and off me.
  • 7:08 - 7:10
I could just think about my performance
  • 7:10 - 7:13
    and being in the moment
    and the songs I'm singing.
  • 7:13 - 7:16
    [upbeat music]
  • 7:18 - 7:19
    - This is our first girl first tonight.
  • 7:19 - 7:21
    You know this, but [laughs]
    I'm gonna tell you again.
  • 7:21 - 7:22
    - Yeah, wait, let me know.
  • 7:22 - 7:23
Like what am I wearing tonight?
  • 7:23 - 7:24
    - You're gonna be wearing this.
  • 7:24 - 7:25
    It's red.
  • 7:25 - 7:27
    [both laugh]
  • 7:27 - 7:28
    Super crucial information.
  • 7:28 - 7:30
    - Actually, it's the first time I'm seeing
  • 7:30 - 7:31
the red version of this look,
  • 7:31 - 7:33
    and it's so beautiful.
  • 7:33 - 7:34
    Go Phillies.
  • 7:34 - 7:35
I really hope people like know
  • 7:35 - 7:38
    that this is a reference
    to like my hometown.
  • 7:38 - 7:42
    Love that the tights have
    little kiss marks on them,
  • 7:42 - 7:44
    little bedazzled kisses.
  • 7:44 - 7:48
    Usually we have lyrics on
    the tights right around here
  • 7:48 - 7:50
    and they kind of look
like a tattoo on my leg,
  • 7:50 - 7:51
    which is really cool,
  • 7:51 - 7:54
    but tonight we opted for
the kiss so it could match.
  • 7:54 - 7:58
Oh yes, these are our, well, the infamous,
  • 7:58 - 7:59
    - You'll be wearing these.
  • 7:59 - 8:01
    - I will be wearing these.
  • 8:01 - 8:02
And by the way, every night. [laughs]
  • 8:02 - 8:04
    - We actually have more.
    - We do?
  • 8:04 - 8:05
    - Different words.
  • 8:05 - 8:07
    - Okay, oh, wait, what else do we have?
  • 8:07 - 8:08
    - We'll find out.
  • 8:08 - 8:09
    - Ah.
  • 8:09 - 8:11
    The nice thing about these
    ones is these are bedazzled
  • 8:11 - 8:15
    and most character
    shoes are not bedazzled.
  • 8:15 - 8:16
    This is act two.
  • 8:16 - 8:19
Tonight we'll wear the white feather?
  • 8:19 - 8:20
    - [Jared] We're still
    deciding the bow color.
  • 8:20 - 8:21
    We're gonna try it on.
  • 8:21 - 8:23
    - Could be white, could be red.
  • 8:23 - 8:25
    - Yeah, red feathers,
    - Red?
  • 8:25 - 8:26
    - Could be nice.
  • 8:26 - 8:28
    - [laughs] Red could be nice.
    - Surprise.
  • 8:28 - 8:30
    - [Sabrina] This we put on for
  • 8:30 - 8:32
    - [Both] The conversation pit.
  • 8:32 - 8:33
    - Mhm.
    - Jinx.
  • 8:33 - 8:35
    - I like it because it
    feels more like a sleepover.
  • 8:35 - 8:36
    - It does
  • 8:36 - 8:38
    - Act two, she goes
    into a conversation pit,
  • 8:38 - 8:40
and all the friends come and
    it's like campfirey songs.
  • 8:40 - 8:42
    - Yeah, so it's just chill.
  • 8:42 - 8:43
We're just chilling in our robes.
  • 8:43 - 8:45
    - Yeah.
    - And then act three,
  • 8:45 - 8:46
would you like to pick it up?
  • 8:46 - 8:47
    - Yeah, that's the miniskirt.
  • 8:47 - 8:48
You do that one, and I'll do this one.
  • 8:48 - 8:50
    - So first, which is crazy,
  • 8:50 - 8:54
    the fact that I'm wearing
    nine articles of clothing,
  • 8:55 - 8:58
but we have the top, and
    we have the miniskirt,
  • 8:58 - 9:01
and then we put on the large
    skirt over the miniskirt.
  • 9:01 - 9:03
    And that way,
  • 9:03 - 9:07
once we pull this little contraption,
  • 9:07 - 9:09
    then this just comes off.
    - Wow.
  • 9:10 - 9:15
    - And I'm seduced by
whoever is in front of me
  • 9:15 - 9:16
    before I sing "Juno."
  • 9:16 - 9:17
    - Mm.
  • 9:17 - 9:19
And then the boots change color hearts.
  • 9:19 - 9:22
    - And sometimes they're not filled in,
  • 9:22 - 9:23
and sometimes they are filled in.
  • 9:23 - 9:25
    - They're crazy.
  • 9:25 - 9:28
    - This is just the most like...
  • 9:28 - 9:29
    - I thought you were
    gonna say uncomfortable.
  • 9:29 - 9:32
    - No, it's the most like gorgeous sparkle
  • 9:32 - 9:33
I've ever seen in my life.
  • 9:33 - 9:35
    So especially when we have
    it in different colors,
  • 9:35 - 9:37
it's just like always so beautiful
  • 9:37 - 9:38
to see it with the visuals.
  • 9:38 - 9:42
    - And then this is a jersey
    just for the end, yeah.
  • 9:43 - 9:44
    Fitting. [laughs]
  • 9:44 - 9:45
    - No!
  • 9:45 - 9:46
    Yeah, it's very cute.
  • 9:46 - 9:47
    Might need to be shorter.
  • 9:47 - 9:48
    - It's going to be.
    - Okay.
  • 9:48 - 9:49
    - It's too long.
  • 9:49 - 9:51
    - It's like it's pretty long.
  • 9:51 - 9:53
    - This goes on first.
  • 9:53 - 9:54
I mean, we have to try it on, it is...
  • 9:54 - 9:55
    - We actually do have to try it.
  • 9:55 - 9:56
    - You never tried
  • 9:56 - 9:57
    this on before.
    - I've never tried this on.
  • 9:57 - 9:58
We gotta make sure it fits.
  • 9:58 - 9:59
    - So that's actually important.
  • 9:59 - 10:00
    - Okay.
    - Thank you.
  • 10:00 - 10:00
    - I should go.
  • 10:03 - 10:04
    Be right back.
    - Okay.
  • 10:04 - 10:05
    - Ope.
  • 10:05 - 10:08
    [chill music]
  • 10:08 - 10:09
    First look reveal.
  • 10:12 - 10:13
    Go Phillies.
  • 10:13 - 10:15
    Okay, let's go sing.
  • 10:16 - 10:18
    Mwah.
  • 10:18 - 10:21
    [chill music continues]
