today we are in Tokyo Station, from now heading to the Hana airport

even it's a weekday night there are so many people

many Travelers too

today 9:00 p.m. Mid of July. temperature is 27°C

that's the central gate of Tokyo Station

usually it opens but already closed

so during the nighttime we need to use the different gate

so today we are planning to stay overnight in the airport

and I will show you guys

what kind of stores and restaurant opens in the airport

hopefully we can see the sunrise from there too

for the hanada International Airport,

there are so many early morning flight,
and also the midnight flight

and also some people need to stay over there

for the transfering the airplane too

so hopefully this video will help for your next Japan trip

so firstly let me show you guys how to
get to the airport from Tokyo Station

we will use the Jr line first

in the Tokyo station, around this time on the weekday,

there are so many salary mons just finish work

and going back to their home

it is crowded but not as bad as on the weekend

firstly we are heading to the Hamamatsucho station

we will use the Jr yamanote line

it's three stations away.

from Tokyo Station to Hamamatsucho station,
it only takes 6 minutes

so it's pretty close

seems like yamot Loop line it's not crowded at all

during the rush hour time, it is super crowded though

there is a map. and also it shows how many minutes it will take

so we are heading to the Hamamatsucho station

it's only 6 minutes.

from Hamamatsucho station we will take the monil

there is a sign so probably you don't get lost

yep. For Haneda airport.

so you can just follow the sign and change the train

there is the entrance that you can directory transfer to the monor rail

if you are heading to the Tokyo Tower

and you want to get out from the station,

this is not the place so you got to be careful

from Tokyo Station to Hamamatsucho station it takes 167 Japanese y

there are several trains in an hour. about one train in 10 minutes

seems like inside the train it is not that crowded

speaking about the monal,

there are many places that you can store the luggages

so even you have a big luggage,
you don't have to worry that much

because it's already late nighttime,
there are so many empty seats

probably other direction will be crowded though.

we arrived to H Airport terminal number three

if you are using the international flight,

this is the station that you want to take off.

but firstly we are going to check the Terminal 1 & 2.

which is the domestic flight terminal.

finally, we arrived to the Haneda Airport Terminal 1.

So, Terminal 1 is the JAL side.

so if you are using the J airplane,
this is the place that you need to come

if you are using the terminal number two you can just keep riding the train

however it is a walking distance though

from Hamamatsucho Station to Haneda
Airport, it cost 519 Japanese yen.

one thing we have to be careful is that

the terminal number one and two it is closing at midnight

it's already 10: p.m. Bank ATM is still open

however the stores is is already closing

I'm wondering how about the other stores

oh so the souvenir shop is closing as well

currency exchange is closing too. I see

oh! however...

there's an interesting vending machine

it is a "Sky Dining in the World."

they have the airplane food.

you can buy it with 1,080 Japanese y

they have the French airplane food

and also the Singapore.

plus Spain. and United States and Japan.

also French and Italy

maybe we can get it for the midnight snack

Konbini FamilyMart is still opening

however seems like many restaurant is closing too though

there is a restaurant street over here but it's also closing too

how about in the upstairs

now we are at the departure floor

oh wow...

It is the empty airport

I remember the time during the pandemic

I believe it's closing many stores,

already all of the flights are departured

that's why it becomes the empty terminal

so here we go

we are at the Market Place.

and also the vending machine is closed as well

it's totally weird feeling.

but feels like I came to the adventure

so the observation deck is closed at 10:00 p.m.

and it's already 10:16 that's why.

well, terminal number one Clos at midnight.

so maybe no wonder they close the observation deck at 10:00 p.m.

I'm wondering how about the terminal number two and three

terminal number three opens 24 hours

so maybe the observation deck is available to even in the midnight

anyways...

let's go to the terminal number one

well no more stores is opening so not many things to see

but uh it is very interesting though

however seems like there are still

many flights are coming to this airport too though

in terminal number one if you want to stay in the capu hotel,

there is a First Cabin capsule hotel.

I heard it is a nice hotel.

about the night cost 8,000 Japanese Y

and room, they have a bigger one and a small one too.

there is Wi-Fi and the working space. also the spa.

I believe it's a small one though

it's a nice capsu hotel

but one thing you have to be careful is that it is located in terminal number one

so if you have the like super early morning flight,

you need to get out from the terminal number one,

and take a bus going to terminal number three and take the airplane

around this area will be closed down

however they have the special gate

and uh maybe you can take the shuttle or taxi

definitely it is a very useful option too

if you want to spend money and if you want to sleep in the bed

now we are heading to terminal number two

speaking of the location,

terminal number two and the terminal number one it is a walking distance

however if you are heading to the terminal number three

definitely you need to take the shuttle though

that is too far for walking

if you are heading to the terminal number two from terminal number one,

first you just need to go back to the station

this is the station of Keikyu line

and there is the passage to terminal number two

today I was thinking to stay in that capsu hotel

however, the earliest time of the shuttle is starting from 4:30 a.m.

which is still terminal number one and two is closing

also, today's sunrise time is 4:30 as well.

so I believe if I stay there, we can't catch the sunrise.

that's what I thought.

also I can show you the midnight atmosphere of terminal number three

I think it would be more fun to show you guys

the terminal 3's atmosphere after the last train

so that's why today I decide to stay in the terminal number three

here we go

we just arrived to the terminal number two

In terminal number two I believe it will be pretty similar atmosphere

terminal number one was the J side

and terminal number two is the ANA side

in terminal number two there is the international flight too

so some of them maybe use the terminal number two too

even it's the international flight

oh... okay.

so since this is the Lawson, which is the convenience store,

even they have the souvenirs

still it's opening too

Haha, there is a Tokyo Banana KitKat as well.

so if you arrive late in the terminal number one and terminal number two

and want to buy the souvenir yes still there are some options

But it is located in Terminal 2 though. Air Lawson.

oh! this terminal number two side there are more options

in terminal number one most of the restaurant was closing

pretty much all the restaurants huh

but here still McDonald is open until 10:45

and also Marukame Seimen is open too.

oh wait. never mind. I believe it is closing

maybe we can find more restaurants and the store is opening in terminal number two

let's explore

oh seems like already domestic departure escalator is closing though

that's my first time to see that area is closing

it's okay.

so let's go to the domestic arrival area

so seems like still there are many people around here

this is the arrival floor so maybe they are just arrived to the airport

or they are waiting someone to arrive.

Oh, in the Terminal 2, too, we can find
"Sky Dining in the World" vending machine

so probably we can find it in the terminal number three as well

let's see

oh they also have the curry Bento bending machine as well

price is 1,200 Japanese Yen, so this one is more expensive

oh seems like there is a bending machine restaurant

by the way vending machine in Japanese called "jihanki."

"Gourmet Twenty Four." let's see what they have here

so they have the coffee machine

and also interesting that's a pizza

there's a Margherita and the tuna corn.

both of them are 1,700 Japanese y

much better than cup noodle

but yeah... it's pretty good

and they also have the big chashu pork as well. Itadakimasu!

actually it is very soft and tender

I can't believe it is an instant noodle. especially the chashu pork.

well the noodle is different compared to the regular Ramen Shop

however just talking about the chashu pork,

it is as good as the chury pork serving in the ramen restaurant

yeah I like it.

and also Naruto

that was pretty good

They also have so many breads
and onigiri rice balls

in this vending machine, too.

all right now let's go into the terminal number three

speaking of the bus leaving from this terminal number two,

going to Shinjuku the last bus is 11:30 p.m.

and going to Ikebukuro, it's 12:05 a.m.

last train is about before the midnight too so it is pretty similar time

I'm wondering if we can go in front of the observation deck

let me see if we can still use this elevator

oh I see so actually it is closing

we can't go in up observation deck.
this place also until 10 p.m.

yeah we can't go up anymore we can only going down

oh wait. maybe this elevator is already stopping

maybe there are more people and More store is opening over there

seems like the last flight of terminal number two heading to the Singapore

now we are going back to the first floor

there's a free shuttle bus terminal to terminal number three

by the way I'm a little bit getting sleepy

so if you are heading to the terminal number three,

free shuttle is leaving from bus stop no. 9.

there is a color, so probably you can find it easily

probably the shuttle is not that crowded though

it's almost midnight

In the midnight, this place will be closing

okay... this must be the place

but seems like no one is waiting

so seems like the bus is almost coming.

to the terminal number three, it takes 9 minutes.

oh the free shuttle bus run every 4 minutes from 500 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

but after that there are you know several bus in hour

Well, that's a lot though

and here we go

Yep this must be the one

even in the midnight still there are many people riding in the bus

now we arrived to terminal number three

since it opens 24 hours this place more people

according to the internet,

this place is the most popular place to sleep

because there is a Lawson there.

seems like already many people sleeping over here

this konbini open 24 hours

oh, they have the mount Fuji soda

that's okay I need caffeine

oh! they have the mount Fuji curry, too!

how about in the Hana airport Garden?

oh here there is info about nighttime bus

there are buses going to Yokohama from 1:20 a.m.

and also going to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro.

there is a bus from 12:20 & 1:00 a.m. 1:40, 2:20.

actually there are bunch of buses.

around this time, even you get to Shinjuku or Ikebukuro, there are no train.

however if you take a taxi from airport to Shinjuku,

it takes about 10,000 Japanese Yen

so if you take a bus to going to Shinjuku and take a taxi,

that would be much cheaper

oh look at that!

there's a beautiful display

if you take a hotel, Villa Fontaine, this is the way to go

there is a nice small Japanese garden over here

and there is a small fish inside as well

it's a difficult word

if you don't like to stay in the capsule hotel,

there is an option to stay in the spa

there is a spa. "Izumi Tenku no Yu."

this Spa opens 24 hours

there is a nice bath. And also, the steam room.

and the place to sleep as well

the price costs 4,800 Japanese Yen

however, if you want to stay overnight,
it costs 4,000 extra.

So, altogether, it costs about
8,000 Japanese yen.

the First Cabin, that capsule hotel price,

today, it costs 8,000 Japanese yen, too.

so it's pretty similar price

however this place located in Terminal 3 though.

by the way in the noontime, there are many shops opening over here.

but in the nighttime, it is closing

this place also there is a konbini, Lawson. And it's open too.

and here this is the entrance for hotel and the spa

I have visited this Spa before

it was a nice onsen. And also, nice steam room as well.

and there are small restaurant that you can eat and drink

speaking of the sleeping area there are reclining sofa.

But it is not private.

so if you want to have the quiet place to sleep,

probably, the capsule hotel would be better

however if you want to stay
in the spa, you like onsen,

probably this place could be the option as well

because the prices are similar

and of course, if you don't mind to pay,
the hotel would be the best.

now let's going back to the terminal

it is a nice area but you cannot lie down and sleep

so that's why there are much fewer people compared to the airport area

now we are heading to the departure floor

by the way it's 1:40 3 hours to go

let's going up.

now we are at the main area of the airport

compared to the noontime it is darker and quiet

but still there are so many people here

how about in the shopping street
and the small Nihonbashi?

oh no actually they are closing

they will reopen again from 9:30

however after they close,

they open the space so that we can sleep as well

there is an onigiri restaurant here
and other restaurant, too.

but those areas are closing now

oh this under the bridge place, it is quiet and dark

so one of the perfect place to sleep as well

no availability though

and now we are at the fast food area

One good news: We have Yoshinoya,
and it opens for 24 hours.

Even in the airport, beef bowl starting
from 500 Japanese yen.

so it would be the perfect nighttime snack

on the weekend, MOS Burger is opening as well

but today since it's the week day it is closing

let's go to the small NIhonbashi.

this is my favorite spot in Hana airport

it is very beautiful

and also we can look down the airport as well

well as you guys know I am not the morning person

I'm a night owl.

But 2:00 a.m. already, I am sleepy.

I recommend you to get the hotel

well if you can sleep well during the nighttime bus trip,

probably you can sleep in the airport too

but uh you know if you are not really a good sleeper like me

probably, you'd better get the hotel. Yup.

anyways it's almost 4:00 a.m.

it's almost time of the sunrise

so, the monorail starting train, it's from 5:18 a.m.

if you are going to the town from the airport,

there are two ways

one is monorail, and the other one
is the Keikyu Line.

but today we are using the monor rail

that's a train going to the terminal number one

for going back to the main part of Tokyo,

you need to take the train from terminal--

sorry it's not terminal.

you need to take the train from platform number two

it's the first train so might be crowded

I'm not sure. let's see

after arrived to the Hamamatsucho station,

this is exactly the same way that we used

this is the entrance transferring to the JR Line.

we will use the yamot line from truck number two

this Keihin-Tohoku Line from truck number one also going to the Tokyo Station as well

so whichever faster one you can take the train.

in Tokyo Station even from the 6:00 a.m. already it's a little bit crowded.

in Tokyo Station, still many stores are closing.

but some store is already opening too

but in Japanese, "puteranodon."

And "tiranosaurusu."

this Station restaurant street is also still closing

well it's still before 6:00 a.m. so makes sense though.

that last night when we came here,

there were so many salarymen.

but it's pretty empty right now

this place will be super crowded by salaryman soon though

seems like people are trying to catch the train

already many people arrive to Tokyo station for work as well

let's go to the Marunouchi square

oh yeah. Still, no Travelers at all

it's much easier to take a photo huh

today it's a little bit cloudy

however if it's not cloudy you can take a photo

as beautiful as the noon time.

plenty of seats are available here too

all right hope you could see how the hanada airport looks like in the midnight

there are plenty of places that you can sleep

and also the atmosphere was pretty nice as well

I thought it could be a little bit quiet

and feels like a little bit dangerous

but actually it was much better atmosphere

so if you have a pretty late flight,

and you have to stay in the airport,

or you have a very early morning morning flight

that you have to wait in the airport

you don't have to worry that much

however I love airport

but staying overnight it was really exciting
