April 12 - Building Faith, Brick by Brick
-
0:10 - 0:15Schools play a crucial role in providing
essential knowledge to children, -
0:15 - 0:17complementing family education.
-
0:17 - 0:22Parents seek the best schools
that offer not only quality education -
0:22 - 0:25but also character development
for their children. -
0:25 - 0:29Located on the Myanmar Union
Adventist Seminary campus, -
0:30 - 0:33New Earth Preschool
serves the local community. -
0:34 - 0:37Despite having to relocate
several times on campus -
0:37 - 0:39due to a lack of permanent facilities,
-
0:39 - 0:43it currently occupies a few rooms
of the new girls' dormitory. -
0:44 - 0:47Both Adventist and non-Adventist parents
-
0:47 - 0:49continue to choose this preschool
-
0:49 - 0:51over other schools in the area.
-
0:52 - 0:54The love parents have for this school
-
0:54 - 0:59is deeply rooted in the values
shared in the classroom. -
0:59 - 1:01Before we start, we have a prayer.
-
1:02 - 1:05And then, every morning,
we have a morning devotion, -
1:05 - 1:08and then we allow them
to sing religious songs, -
1:08 - 1:12and we let them memorize the memory verse.
-
1:13 - 1:16We close our eyes and fold our hands,
-
1:16 - 1:18and talk to God.
-
1:19 - 1:22While providing an excellent education,
-
1:22 - 1:27the safety of the students
is a top priority at New Earth Preschool, -
1:27 - 1:30and they are continually
trying to improve it. -
1:30 - 1:34When we go out, and we compare
with other schools, -
1:35 - 1:39our facilities are in very poor condition.
-
1:40 - 1:43After years of prayers and acts of faith,
-
1:43 - 1:47New Earth Preschool
will finally have its own building. -
1:48 - 1:52We see this school as a means
for evangelism. -
1:52 - 1:56We can grow gospel seeds for the children
-
1:56 - 2:00as well as we can share
the Adventist message to the parents. -
2:03 - 2:05We treat the students
with tender, loving care -
2:05 - 2:06so that they feel safe
-
2:07 - 2:08and also gain the parents' trust
-
2:09 - 2:11so that we may share
about the gospel with them. -
2:13 - 2:17With well-established trust
and good relationships with parents, -
2:17 - 2:19they use every occasion
-
2:19 - 2:22as an opportunity to share God's message.
-
2:23 - 2:26Whatever the children learn
from this school, -
2:27 - 2:28when they go back home,
-
2:29 - 2:31they share with their parents
what they learned, -
2:31 - 2:34what songs they sang,
-
2:34 - 2:36what activities that they do.
-
2:36 - 2:42That also shares the love of Jesus
to the family. -
2:42 - 2:43This quarter,
-
2:43 - 2:46a portion of the 13th Sabbath Offering
-
2:46 - 2:51will help construct the school building
for New Earth Preschool in Myanmar. -

-
2:53 - 2:57so it can function
as a center of influence -
2:57 - 2:58for God's love,
