April 12 - Building Faith, Brick by Brick

  • 0:10 - 0:15
Schools play a crucial role in providing
    essential knowledge to children,
  • 0:15 - 0:17
    complementing family education.
  • 0:17 - 0:22
    Parents seek the best schools
that offer not only quality education
  • 0:22 - 0:25
    but also character development
    for their children.
  • 0:25 - 0:29
    Located on the Myanmar Union
    Adventist Seminary campus,
  • 0:30 - 0:33
    New Earth Preschool
    serves the local community.
  • 0:34 - 0:37
    Despite having to relocate
    several times on campus
  • 0:37 - 0:39
due to a lack of permanent facilities,
  • 0:39 - 0:43
it currently occupies a few rooms
    of the new girls' dormitory.
  • 0:44 - 0:47
    Both Adventist and non-Adventist parents
  • 0:47 - 0:49
    continue to choose this preschool
  • 0:49 - 0:51
over other schools in the area.
  • 0:52 - 0:54
The love parents have for this school
  • 0:54 - 0:59
is deeply rooted in the values
    shared in the classroom.
  • 0:59 - 1:01
Before we start, we have a prayer.
  • 1:02 - 1:05
    And then, every morning,
    we have a morning devotion,
  • 1:05 - 1:08
    and then we allow them
    to sing religious songs,
  • 1:08 - 1:12
and we let them memorize the memory verse.
  • 1:13 - 1:16
We close our eyes and fold our hands,
  • 1:16 - 1:18
    and talk to God.
  • 1:19 - 1:22
    While providing an excellent education,
  • 1:22 - 1:27
    the safety of the students
is a top priority at New Earth Preschool,
  • 1:27 - 1:30
    and they are continually
    trying to improve it.
  • 1:30 - 1:34
When we go out, and we compare
    with other schools,
  • 1:35 - 1:39
our facilities are in very poor condition.
  • 1:40 - 1:43
After years of prayers and acts of faith,
  • 1:43 - 1:47
    New Earth Preschool
will finally have its own building.
  • 1:48 - 1:52
We see this school as a means
    for evangelism.
  • 1:52 - 1:56
We can grow gospel seeds for the children
  • 1:56 - 2:00
as well as we can share
the Adventist message to the parents.
  • 2:03 - 2:05
    We treat the students
    with tender, loving care
  • 2:05 - 2:06
    so that they feel safe
  • 2:07 - 2:08
and also gain the parents' trust
  • 2:09 - 2:11
    so that we may share
    about the gospel with them.
  • 2:13 - 2:17
    With well-established trust
    and good relationships with parents,
  • 2:17 - 2:19
    they use every occasion
  • 2:19 - 2:22
as an opportunity to share God's message.
  • 2:23 - 2:26
    Whatever the children learn
    from this school,
  • 2:27 - 2:28
    when they go back home,
  • 2:29 - 2:31
    they share with their parents
    what they learned,
  • 2:31 - 2:34
    what songs they sang,
  • 2:34 - 2:36
    what activities that they do.
  • 2:36 - 2:42
That also shares the love of Jesus
    to the family.
  • 2:42 - 2:43
    This quarter,
  • 2:43 - 2:46
a portion of the 13th Sabbath Offering
  • 2:46 - 2:51
will help construct the school building
for New Earth Preschool in Myanmar.
  • 2:51 - 2:53
    Please pray for this project
  • 2:53 - 2:57
    so it can function
    as a center of influence
  • 2:57 - 2:58
    for God's love,
  • 2:58 - 3:00
    not only for the students
  • 3:00 - 3:02
    but also for the parents.
  • 3:03 - 3:07
    Thank you for your support
    of the 13th Sabbath Offering.
