Who better to talk about the past, present, and future of transhumanism than the person generally considered to be the founder of modern transhumanism, Max More?

Max was the speaker at this London Futurists webinar in our ongoing series exploring which future scenarios involving transhumanism are the most likely or the most desirable.

Max gave this definition back in 1990: "Transhumanism is a class of philosophies of life that seek the continuation and acceleration of the evolution of intelligent life beyond its currently human form and human limitations by means of science and technology, guided by life-promoting principles and values."

Since then, Max has been closely involved in many of the most central and long-lasting projects of the transhumanist community.

In this webinar, we heard Max championing transhumanism as a positive compelling vision of the future, how Max's ideas have evolved over the years, what he considers the key insights that transhumanism offers in 2025 and beyond, and which issues and opportunities deserve particular attention by friends and allies of the movement.
