Did you ever receive something from God and somehow on your walk you've notice there is no more and lost it?
-
A physical blessing or a spiritual blessing?
-
Maybe a divine favour in your workplace or before men in general!?
-
But somewhere along your walk of faith, after you received that blessing, now the blessing is no more!
-
God from Heaven gives grace, and according to His word, God gives "grace after grace," but His word also declares through Paul,"His grace was not in vain for me."
-
When God blesses us is doing it with a purpose!
-
When you don't know the purpose of your blessing, today you may receive peace from God, but in a few hours, you loose it.
-
Today, you receive the joy of salvation, but later, because of some hidden sins, you lose it.
-
Today, you may receive a financial blessing and tomorrow you lose it because you didn't manage it right.
-
Today you may receive a job, but a few months later you renounce or lose it, because you don't value it.
-
Why we lose the blessings so easy?
-
God, as a good Father who gives good gifts unto His children and also His Kingdom with eternal life
-
Why would He start limiting or stop our blessings?
-
Tell your neighbour, "Everything that has to do with the blessings of God for your life to receive them, and maintain them has to do with the condition of your heart!"
-
A Christian who is inclined spiritually, a wise man, is the person who, before he brings his requests to the Lord, understands that whatever he receives from God,
-
needs to be settled and sustained by a spiritual foundation which will guard and multiply that blessing!
-
Let's read from the Book of Mark chapter 2:4-5, "Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus
-
by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on.
-
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
-
Many of us are coming to God to receive healing, deliverance, and blessing, andto intervene in our situations.
-
The same way this paralytic man came to Him!
-
They broke the roof of the house, they put the man before Jesus, and He said first that He obeserved their faith!
-
This aspect is very important, but in this case was not the most important.
-
If Jesus Christ were only a common Teacher, instead of helping this man seek the root of his problems, He would deal only with the branch.
-
When Jesus Christ saw the paralytic man and his brothers said, "Oh, Son, how great is your faith; did He say this?"
-
Is important to come to Him in faith, but to be sure that when we receive something from Him we will be able to maintain it
-
we need to go into the area where our heart is free from sin, able to receive by faith and then maintain that blessing!
-
If the Lord had prayed for this man to be healed, would this man receive his healing?
-
Absolutely!
-
But if He had not dealt with the root of the problem and said earlier, "Your sins are forgiven!" , would that man maintain that blessing?
-
Impossible!
-
What are we learning from this situation?
-
This situation teaches me that sin is the root of every spiritual disease and of many physical diseases!
-
Forgiveness of sin strikes the root of any problem and heals me indeed, so that whatever I receive, to maintain!
-
If you seek the blessings of God without losing what He has for you, you need to be watchful at your heart, which sometimes or often has sinful tendencies...
-
A sinful and unbelieving heart, whatever it shall receive today from God tomorrow will lose the blessing.
-
Jesus Christ, when He came in this world, He didn't come to cut only the branches of our problems, but the root of our problems...
-
Tell your neighbour, " Sin is the root of all spiritual sickness and most physical diseases!"
-
When sin is forgiven, then you are healed, delivered in that way, that you can maintain your blessing, in the name of Jesus!
