"Alphonse Daudet wrote a short story called "Mr. Seguin’s Goat", or "La chèvre de Monsieur Seguin". In Mr. Seguin's garden, there were a lot of flowers and grass. And he loved his baby goat dearly. He wanted her to have happiness living within the boundaries of his garden which was always teeming with grass and water. But living in there too long, the baby goat grew bored. So one day, she jumped out.

"Mr. Seguin found that it would be utterly dangerous for his goat because, out there, she would sooner or later be eaten by wolves. So he told her, 'My child, don't you ever venture out of this garden's boundaries. It's very dangerous.'

"But Mr. Seguin’s goat didn't heed his words. So he said, 'If so, I have to lock you back in.' With that, he put her into a goat pen and locked her in. But he forgot to close the little window. So, one evening, the goat jumped out of the window and went into the forest."
