OnePlus 13 5G - Now This is the REAL Flagship Feel na Phone!

Why did I say that?

Because the OnePlus 12
was so expensive at Php64,000

for its base variant,

but the price of this one
has a significant decrease

that's why I'm so excited for you.

Powered by the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Elite

and together with the OxygenOS 15,

and of course,
its triple 50MP camera lens

that's co-engineered
with Hasselblad.

This phone is definitely set
to perform.

We'll find out about it more
together with its price

after this quick intro.

This OnePlus 13 that has 12GB of RAM
and 256GB of storage

is priced at Php54,990.

But during the preoder, guys,
the price was so low

at Php49,990.

That's why I said in the intro

One thing I like about it
is definitely its design,

especially its eco-leather finish
at the back,

it feels great.

When you hold it here,
you know that

the feel is very premium.

The feel of the leather back
of the Php19,000 phones

is different with what OnePlus
put in here.

It really feels like leather.

It's different when you hold it.

It's hard to describe
but I can tell you

that the feeling
is really different.

The feeling of it
being more premium.

And I love this midnight ocean,
the blue looks beautiful

on the back.

Here's the Hasselblad logo,

and its camera bump looks great.

And its back is flat,
each ring isn't protruded.

And the camera bump
is not that thick

which is definitely okay
for a flagship phone.

One thing I like
that OnePlus preserved

is the ringer toggle
which comes useful at times.

If you just want to slide it here,
you don't need

to open the screen.

When you slide it here,
it's on ring,

on the middle, it's vibrate,
and on top is the silent mode.

When your phone rings
in the middle of a meeting,

you can just slide it
and it'll be silent.

You don't need to open
your phone, drop down the menu,

and then silent it off,
which takes a lot of process.

This ringer toggle
is really simplified.

And what we also have here
on the side

is aluminum side frames,

and its protection
is Ceramic Guard Glass.

It also has
quad-curved display here

so it's definitely a winner.

And I love the feel
on my hands.

Overall design, 9 out of 10.

plus IP68/IP69 dust
and water resistance.

This phone is being powered
by one of the most powerful chip

of Qualcomm which is the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Elite.

It's given 2.2 millions points
on AnTuTu Benchmark

which is quite good.

And this is the breakdown score.

Its loop score is 6,000
and its stability is 74%

on the Wild Life Extreme.

And this is the result I got
on the CPU benchmarking

on Geekbench.

And this is what I got
on the GPU benchmarking.

Its thermals are kind
of rocky here

and it throttled to 75%
of its best performance.

Now, they've made
the battery larger on this phone.

This time around,
it packs in a silicon carbon

6,000mAh battery.

Silicon carbon is kind
of more compact

so you can pack in
a bigger sized battery

at the same weight.

And this phone supports
100W of SuperVOOC charging,

50W of wireless charging,
10W of reverse wireless charging,

and 5W reverse wired charging.

Now using this phone
on a day-to-day basis,

there's no problem
with its performance.

It can last one whole day
because its battery is efficient

plus its size became larger
from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh

so expect it to give you
that extra 1-2 hours

at the very least.

And when I put under
the PCMark battery stress test,

under 60Hz of screen refresh rate
and 50% screen brightness,

it's given me 19 hours
of screen-on time. Goods.

Now one of the things
that I like about it

is that its display is big
at 6.82-inch LTPO

curved AMOLED display.

120Hz of screen refresh rate
and its maximum brightness

is 4,500 nits.

It has 91% screen-to-body ratio
and it has ultra HDR

image support.

One thing to like here
is I like the display here.

Especially when I'm browsing
on socials,

it looks great here.

If you're browsing
on Facebook, Twitter,

and on other social media apps,
expect it to have

a very smooth browsing experience.

Even while you're browsing
some photos here,

the experience
already feels great.

And watching my favorite shows here
on YouTube,

expect it to give you
a really immersive experience

because the display is great,

the colors are punchy,
and of course,

it also has Level 1
Widevine Security Level

so you'll definitely be able
to watch HD content

on this phone.

So right now guys,
we'll just test its loudspeaker.

It has two holes on the bottom
and only one hole on the top.

So expect it
to have an imbalance.

But I just want to listen
to its sounds on maximum volume.

So here it goes.

Its sound is loud,
as expected from a flagship phone

of OnePlus.

So we've played three titles here:
Genshin Impact,

Farlight 84, and of course,
Call of Duty Mobile.

Now on Genshin Impact,
we maxed out

the graphic settings here.

Of course,
it's Snapdragon 8 Elite, why not?

Let's max it out;
max frame rates, max graphics,

So the result is good.

My experience was smooth here.

I expected that it was able
to perform.

And true enough,
it was able to deliver,

because when we were fighting
many bosses...

And in the lower processor,
expect some slight delay.

But on the Snapdragon 8 Elite,
I was expecting...

And it did perform
without any delays and lags

and the gameplay
was really smooth.

What I like about
the OnePlus 13 is that

its sound is also great,
it's very immersive,

and the gameplay was really one
of the best that I've played

using the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The controls are smooth
and expect that it will give you

a really good experience.

The hottest it reached
after 30 minutes was 42°C.

On Farlight 84,
I was also expecting

for the experience to good.

I also maxed out
the graphics here

and true enough,
it was able to deliver,

giving me one
of the best gaming experience

that I've played for Farlight 84.

And playing for an hour
non-stop here

for around five ranked matches here,
it was able to hold up

and give me
a really good experience.

The thing I like most about this
is the graphics,

it's so smooth.

And after one hour of gameplay,
it reached 41°C.

Call of Duty Mobile,
there's no problem here,

we expected that
it'll play it very easily

and it was able to give me
a really nice experience.

The controls are smooth
and of course,

the touch response was fast.

After 30 minutes
of gameplay, 41°C.

So while playing those games,
I tried this,

the OnePlus Nord Buds 3.

Probably one of the better buds
that I've tried from OnePlus

and I like its design.

It's small.

When you look at it,
its design looks like a water drop.

It looks kind of different
from the rest

and normally, it's just
like a cigarette stick

but this one is different.

I really like its design.

And what's also nice here
is that it fits in my ears.

I have no problem
while playing

these different games.

And it was able to give me
a nice experience.

I was expecting that
this won't be okay for gaming

but I didn't feel any lag
while playing all these titles:

Genshin Impact, Farlight 84,
and Call of Duty Mobile.

The most crucial, for me,
is the Call of Duty Mobile

because I'm listening
to the footsteps

from the left and right
to give me a more accurate gameplay

and it was able to deliver.

When I wear it,
it's comfy, I like the feel

in my ears.

And another thing is that
it's so light,

you can put it
inside your pocket.

You can carry this
around anywhere.

And based on my experience,
this one can give you

at least 16 hours of playback time
on one single full charge,

including the case.

Probably one of the better buds
below Php2,000.

about the camera

of the OnePlus 13.

It has a 50MP
main camera sensor with OIS.

It also has a 50MP
periscope telephoto lens

with up to 3x optical zoom
with OIS.

And of course, it also has
a 50MP ultra wide lens

with up to 120° FoV.

Of course, this is good
because it has

a Hasselblad color calibration
and it can shoot you

up to 8K and 30 FPS.

Its front-facing camera
is 32MP which can shoot you

up to 4K and 60 FPS.

Let's now look at some
of these shots

that we got from the OnePlus 13.

And looking at this shot,
you'll see...

Actually I'm also holding
the OnePlus 13R

and the sheer difference
between the two cameras

is the details.

This one can capture
more cinematic photo compared

to the 13R, probably because
of the collaboration

with Hasseblad.

And you can really see
how good and clean this shot is.

And if you're taking this shot,
comparing side by side

with the 13R,
this looks more dramatic,

it looks more Instagrammable
compared to the 13R

based on my eyes.

If you're trying to take a shot
on this cat,

it looks like there are more details
captured on the 13

compared to the 13R.

If you zoom it in,
the details look more complete

on the face of the cat,
especially its whiskers and hairs.

The details look really good.

If we'll talk about greens,
this looks great.

I think this one captured
the better green compared

to the 13R.

Its shot is very natural,
it's not too much compared

to other flagship cameras
that have too much

of a green saturation.

This one is just okay.

This is another shot that I like.

This shot is very simple
but it looks really nice.

And even these Chinese lanterns
for Chinese New Year,

this shot looks great.

The red shade of this looks better
compared to the 13R.

The 13R's red looks lighter,
but this one looks

more of a royalty red,
this looks better.

This is another shot that I like.

And you can see how great
its focusing is on the subject

and blurring all the way
to the background.

And if you're trying
to take some greens here,

it looks really nice,
it's not too much.

And this is another shot
that looks good

except that it's looks
kind of darker compared

to the 13R that I captured.

And equally said,
this is another shot

that I also really like,
the focusing on the subject

looks great.

When you're playing
with the ultra wide lens,

this is how it looks like.

1x, 2x, 3x, and 6x zoom.

After 6x zooming,
the Solaire Logo still looks clear.

And one thing that I like
about it is that

the color of the normal shot
and the ultra wide shot

looks almost the same.

This is how good the details are
if you're trying to take

a flower shot.

If you're trying to take
some statue shot,

you'll be able to capture
some really nice,

cinematic photo here.

And yeah.

Taking a look at some
of the figurines,

it also captures really well.

If you're trying to take
some photos of food,

I would say that its shot
is better compared to the 13R,

simply because maybe
its color is better...

Its color resolution
is better on these photos

that I captured
on the OnePlus 13

and it just simply looks better.

And it focuses fast.

You can see this sandwich
looking really nice.

And even focusing
on this hamburger.

Taking a look
at these two gown shots,

you can see the details
on the dress are really nice

and even the beads here
looks still very detailed

after zooming it in.

This is another shot
that I really like.

If you're trying to take photo
from the front-facing camera,

expect a really good portrait
that you'll get here

because of how good
the front-facing camera

of the OnePlus 13 is.

And it's really flagship level like,
except that its camera

when facing the sun,
my face kind of looks whitish

because of the overexposure.

But once my face is facing
the sun, expect that the shot

you'll get to be better.

Here are some more
nice outdoor shot that I got

which I'm really proud
of this camera.

Equally said on indoors,
the details that you'll get here

are great, except that
when you're facing the sun,

you'll really see that
you look kind of whitish.

Here's another good
indoor shot that I got.

Full of details.

Using the front-facing camera
to take a vlog,

what can I say about this
is it's very stable.

Compared to the 13R,
this is definitely more stable

and I can tell you
its resolution is good

just using my bare hand.

And equally said
with its rear camera,

it's also great.

Even on indoors lowlight,
the performance

of this camera is also good.

And it's quite stable
just using my bare hand

So guys, what's my verdict
on the OnePlus 13?

One of the phones
that I like on OnePlus so far.

And I think I'm in love
with this phone.

It's beautiful,
the back is smooth.

Probably one
of the flagship level phone

that's worthy to call a flagship.

Because its premium feel...

I don't know.

Maybe how I feel
when I'm holding this

is way different
from when I'm holding

other eco-leather finish phones.

And it gives you that
great feeling when holding it.

It's smooth.

It's smooth but still has
that grip,

like you're holding
a Louis Vuitton or Gucci,

that kind of feeling.

So you should try
if you can go

to Digital Walker stores
that has a display of this phone.

Try to feel its back.

And I'm not kidding,
this feels great.

Plus its camera
is definitely one of the topnotch.

And its display
is definitely good as well.

And of course,
