Many people with a background in the culture and philosophy of continental Europe find themselves repelled or alienated by what they see or hear of transhumanism. However, the speaker in this London Futurists webinar, Stefan Lorenz Sorgner, argues that transhumanism can be expressed with a different set of emphases from those of what he calls "classical transhumanism". These alternative emphases, collected under the headline of "Euro-transhumanism", have the potential to significantly grow the community of people who are actively collaborating on goals such as significantly extended healthspans for everyone.
