Revisiting my First Base on 2b2t

SAL: There it is! Oh my gosh
and it's in perfect shape, too!

Oh man I- this is so cool
and there's my horses!

Ok so let's head in here.

These are my furnaces...
nothin' in 'em right now.

Oh yeah this is one of my...

very first e chests I've ever gotten
on the server.

And what do I keep in here?

Okay.

"Question Mark." Seeds and some sand.

[chest smacks shut and
trapdoor flips open]

Let's head down here.

Okay, yeah, so wooow!

It's all still here!

Look at this!

Okay? Oh my God efficiency three?

Yeah, this is before I barely
duped anything.

[chest smacks as Sal rummages]

Oh man, unenchanted diamond armor?

Wow.

[Sal keeps rummaging,
chests clap open and shut]

Oh yeah, this is all the stuff that I
fished out!

Yeah, I used to afk fish here
all the time.

And these are all the books that I
got from it, too.

[chest smacks shut]

Okay, so yeah so here's my
enchanting room.

And I always keep lapis right below.

Let's keep heading down here.

Oh yeah, and these are all...

all the bows and saddles and stuff
that I got from fishing.

All still here.

Now this is my favorite area of my base.
The storage room.

Now, I never completed the back wall
for some reason?

But other than that...
it looks pretty cool I think.

I love the wood and the bricks.

That's kind of like my favorite
block combination: is wood and bricks.

Oh yeah! I used to organize
all my stuff, man!

I wish I was this organized now.

Let's go up over here.

Y'know this area brings back
a lot of memories.

So, after I joined my first group:
"The Last Templar"

We got access to a lot of duped items...

and this was actually me unstacking...

all the items from one shulker box
up here.

And... ohhh yeah...

Filled with elytras...

armor...

everything!

Oh my gosh!

All unstacked!

And I kind of built this tree of chests
and hoppers and I mean...

It unstacked it!

It looks pretty messy though,
I'll tell you that.

You know what? I think that was the
last time I was at this base...

which is actually almost a year ago.

So, it's pretty amazing to see that
this place still exists!

Jeez.

[shulker boxes clatter
open and shut]

Oh, man!

"The first one!"

I remember this! This was my very first
shulker box I've ever recieved on 2b2t!

This goes all the way back to that
old video that I uploaded:

"2b2t - Spawn Exploration"

And this is when that guy gave me that
shulker box!

Oh my gosh!

I guess I just have a bunch of
totems in there right now but...

that's so cool!

I labelled it, too.

I was sooo excited I finally got my first
shulker box on 2b2t!

Now, going back down here a little bit...

I remember building something down here.

Oh wow, look at this!

Yeah, okay, so this was kind of a little
project that I started to work on.

Kind of my goal here was to kind of make
like a underground like I don't know?

River flowing through type deal?

I guess kind of like
an underground forest...

and kind of have
the cave blend in with the underground...

and the surroundings.

I'm not exactly sure what I was
trying to do here.

Oh yeah and these are all the blocks
that I mined.

Yeah, I never finished this
but it would've been pretty cool.

SAL TAKES OVER AS NARRATOR:
As I started leaving the base,

I reminisced about my times here.

Most of the time, I was here solo
as I wasn't part of any group.

But once I joined my first group,
I visited the place less and less...

as I didn't really have that much
of a need to go there anymore.

[somber]
This may be my final time that I...

ever get to visit the base intact on 2b2t.

Now that I've showed terrain around
the base, it'll be toast in no time.

But I can't be too saddened by this.

We need to close the door to the past
and open the one to the future.
