Steven Donziger is an American lawyer who represented over 30,000 indigenous Ecuadorians and farmers in a landmark environmental lawsuit against Chevron which resulted in a $9.5 billion judgment in Ecuador and Chevron launching a counter-litigation campaign against Donziger, leading to his disbarment, house arrest, and imprisonment. Donziger has spent decades on the legal battle to bring justice to the indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
