فلنرى اذا كان بامكاننا كتابة العدد 0.36 كـ "كسر"

هناك العديد من الطرق للقيام بذلك .. والطريقة التى أود أقوم بها هى

العدد 0.36 هو نفسه 36/100

وهذه الخانة تسمى خانة المئات

أما هذه الخانة فتدعى خانة العشرات ويمكن كتابتها هكذا 30/100 أو 3/10

لذا يمكن كتابة العدد 0.36 هكذا 36/100

لقد حولنا بالفعل العدد 0.36 الى كسر ولكن لابد من اختصاره وذلك لان كلا العددين 36 و 100 بينهم عوامل مشتركة

فكلاهما يقبل القسمة على 4 ، لذلك اذا قمنا بقسمة البسط على 4 والمقام على 4 أيضا (نقسم البسط والمقام على نفس العدد وبالتالى لن يحدث تغيير فى قيمة الكسر)

36/4 = 9 و 100/4 = 25

والآن البسط والمقام ليس بينهما عوامل مشتركة

وها نحن لدينا الكسر فى صورته المبسطة التى توصلنا إليها
