Већ смо га изразили као разломак, али сада у ствари можемо да га поједноставимо, зато што 36 и 100 имају неке заједничке чиниоце.

Оба су дељива са 4, тако да, ако бисмо могли да поделимо бројилац са 4 и именилац са 4 (радимо исто са оба броја како не бисмо променили вредност разломка),

36 подељено се 4 је 9.
И затим 100 подељено са 4 је 25.

И сада изгледа да ова два броја
немају више ниједан заједнички чинилац,

тако да смо га написали у најједноставнијем облику.
И готови смо.
