বুনিয়াদপুর পুরসভার অন্তর্গত ১ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের ভুঞ্জারপাড়ায় প্রায় ৪০টি ভুঞ্জার সম্প্রদায়ের পরিবার দীর্ঘদিন ধরে উন্নয়ন থেকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে বঞ্চিত। পুরসভার আওতায় থাকা সত্ত্বেও এখানে এখনো পাকা রাস্তা তৈরি হয়নি। বর্ষায় কাঁচা রাস্তাগুলি কর্দমাক্ত হয়ে যায়, চলাফেরা প্রায় অসম্ভব হয়ে পড়ে।

এই পাড়ার অধিকাংশ ঘরে বিদ্যুৎ নেই, নেই বার্ধক্য ভাতা, লক্ষ্মীর ভাণ্ডার, কিংবা প্রধানমন্ত্রী আবাস যোজনার সুবিধা। বৃষ্টিতে ভেঙে পড়া ঘরগুলোর জন্য পুরসভার তরফ থেকে ত্রিপল বা অন্য কোনো সাহায্যও মেলেনি। একমাত্র একটি টিউবওয়েলেই নির্ভর করছে পুরো পাড়ার পানীয় জলের চাহিদা।

এই এলাকায় অধিকাংশ পরিবার ভূমিহীন ও ভিক্ষাবৃত্তির উপর নির্ভরশীল, যার ফলে তারা অন্য কোথাও চলে যাওয়ার সুযোগও রাখে না। আশেপাশের এলাকায় বিদ্যুৎ ও পাকা রাস্তা থাকলেও ভুঞ্জারপাড়া আজও অন্ধকারে ডুবে, যেন তারা কোনো প্রশাসনিক চিত্রেই নেই।

এলাকাবাসীর একটাই প্রশ্ন — পুরসভা গঠনের সাত বছর পরেও কেন এই বৈষম্য ও অবহেলা? এই ভিডিও সেই প্রশ্নই তুলে ধরে, এবং আশা করে প্রশাসনের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করবে।

In Buniyadpur Municipality's Ward No. 1, nearly 40 families belonging to the marginalized Bhunja community in Bhunjapara continue to live in absolute neglect despite being officially within municipal limits.

The roads remain unpaved, and during monsoons, the area becomes muddy and inaccessible. Most houses lack electricity, no elderly pensions, no Lakshmi Bhandar benefit, and no homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Even during heavy rains, when homes are damaged, the municipality did not provide basic tarpaulin or support.

The community depends entirely on a single tube well for drinking water. Most families are landless and rely on begging for survival. While nearby neighborhoods have concrete roads and electricity, Bhunjapara remains in darkness, both literally and symbolically.

Residents are asking — why, even seven years after being included in the municipality, does this area remain forgotten? This video aims to raise that question and push for long-overdue justice and development.
