Sandra Lee - Garden Cupcake Frostings

shes one of the older twins

and we are making her garden cupckaes

now, what are you doing there?

putting the icing in the bowl

and then coloring it

ok so, you're doing that

now I've already baked some cupcakes in the oven

vanilla and chocolate ones

so we'll put those off to the side

we'll also grab all the sprinkles you thought we should have

now, what are we doing?

well, we are putting two jars of each color in each bowl

ok, what color is this?

that one is red, and it matches perfectly with the rasberry extract

we'll put 1/2 a teaspoon of rasberry extract in there

and that one is yellow, so it matches perfectly with the lemon extract

ok

so theres our yellow

so now we do the green, which matches with the mint

a refreshing cupcake

this is the mint one

and then lastly, the blue

to match with the almond receipe

if this is your recipe, why am I doing all the work?

you wan tot put this in? half a capful? ok, I'm going to start stirring this one, now tell me why only

two drops

so the color's not too bright or two strong

ok, I see, so two drops gives you "pink"

hmmhmm

allright

so pretty

is that yellow enough?

well, I think you can add a little more

so two more of those

there's some yellow!

pink, yellow, and look at how perfect your blue is!

yeah smells so good! you could also do blueberry extract, that would be awesome in there.

now, while you do that, I'm going to grab some plastic bags, because we like to decorate a very special

way

now, what are we going to do with these? we are going to fill.

this is going to be like a funnel almost, right?

Yeah!

And then we twist it like that, and snip it right there.

With the scissors. Now what, yellow? All the way down. Now for the blue.

All right, last one.

We got green color and mint flavor

So let's lay these out

We got pink, green, blue, yellow, and we go cupcakes.

Which color first? You want to snip it?

Now, why there? So it's not too big or too small

and perfectly surrounds the cupcake top

You're going to go all the way around the outside

and then build in your center

these look like those cupcakes we saw in that bakery shop window

You know what, I want to show you

a trick. If you snip this too big...you can do it like this, like it's an ice cream cone.

You can go right in the center and it just gets bigger and bigger, and then you take the top and you

go like that

oh, that looks juicy

isn't that look great? Do you want to decorate the blue one?

So you're going to be the decorating queen.
