-Hi, we are fourth year students
of the Degree in Videogames.

We took part in an exchange
with North America

at the Shawnee State University
in the USA.

It was a really enriching experience
in our field

as we have learnt several programmes
and techniques which are not studied here.

I am more focused on the artistic facet,
while they are focused on programming.

We have been helped by lecturers
with years of experience

who could teach us many contents
and many topics

belonging to this industry.

-However, take into account

that, to go on an exchange,
a lot of paperwork is needed.

So, the sooner you begin,
the sooner you will finish

as it is a long and tedious process,
though it is not difficult.

It can be gone through.

So, it is simple:

as soon as you know you were chosen
to participate in a programme,

you must inmediately ask for details,
know exactly what you must do

and start processes
for not running out of time.

It seems
that many things must be done

and it is in fact tedious
but it is really worth it.

Later, the exchange
is an incredible experience

advisable for anyone
who can try to do it.

it is a really worth experience.

We were able to learn
topics not included in these syllabus

and that is very important
for when we join the labour world

as it allows the access
to work places

in which having gone on an exchange
will be appreciated.

That knowledge will open many doors
which, otherwise, would stay close.

Furthermore, the facilities
which we could use there

are considerably better than those
of average Spanish universities.

Leveraging that will be really useful
with regards to the laboral world.

Moreover, there,
the change is really important

as, here in Spain, university
consists only of attending classes

and going home.

But, in the USA, universties
are part of students' lives.

Everything revolves around it,
it organises ludic events and so on,

differently from here.

In general,
we recommend it to everyone.

You should take part
in UJI's exchange programmes.

We went to North America,
but all programmes are all right

and you will gain
a really enriching experience.
