The Path to Divine Love is Paved by the Malice of Others?

  • 0:00 - 0:05
InshaAllah, “Fa A’uzu Billahi Minash shaitanir Rajeem
    Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.”
  • 0:05 - 0:15
“Atiullah atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum.”
And always a reminder for myself ana abdukal
  • 0:15 - 0:17
'ajeezu, dayeefu, miskinu, zhalim, wa jahl, and
but for the grace of Allah (AJ) that we’re still
  • 0:17 - 0:28
    in existence. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘aalameen,
was salaatu was salaam Ashraful Mursaleen,
  • 0:28 - 0:34
Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadul Mustafa ﷺ.
That this way of ishq and muhabbat, and this way
  • 0:34 - 0:43
of Maqamul Ihsan (Station of Moral Excellence) to
teach us, to teach us this way of heart and soul,
  • 0:43 - 0:53
that when we give our heart and soul to the path
and say that I want to be from the people of jan,
  • 0:53 - 1:01
of sincerity, with my heart and soul.
And Mawlana Shaykh’s (Q) teaching always,
  • 1:01 - 1:12
that this way of the heart and soul, this love
is going to be tested. It's not easy to just say
  • 1:12 - 1:22
by tongue that I love the path, I love Sayyidina
    Muhammad ﷺ, I love Allah (AJ) Most-High, I love
  • 1:22 - 1:29
the tariqah (spiritual path), I love my shaykh.
Means these are all lisani and this way of
  • 1:29 - 1:38
sincerity that we described, Allah (AJ) inshaAllah
begin to grant the servant a sincere love. The
  • 1:38 - 1:49
tariq and the path is that way of sincere love.
The path is not the nani, the people whom they're
  • 1:49 - 1:58
coming for something, some sort of whatever it is
that they want in life. And it's a means maybe to
  • 1:58 - 2:05
catch people, clickbait, that Allah (AJ) brings
them maybe with some intention that they want
  • 2:05 - 2:12
something, hoping that their heart will open
to making the path a way of life. And it's
  • 2:12 - 2:20
not only for the way of lisani that their life
is just to keep saying by tongue they believe,
  • 2:20 - 2:28
they love, they want all these realities,
but to open our hearts towards sincerity.
  • 2:28 - 2:38
And the shaykh’s obligation is to bring the
students on this path of sincerity. And love
  • 2:38 - 2:47
has to be tested, means that Allah (AJ) puts us in
every condition to test the condition of our love.
  • 2:47 - 2:55
It's not that we profess it by tongue, but
Allah (AJ) will try and test the servant. And
  • 2:55 - 3:04
all our lives was this harsh reality that in
every direction an attack, in every direction
  • 3:04 - 3:16
a confusion, in every direction a misinformation,
and to see if our keel, like they have these ships
  • 3:16 - 3:25
that they test them for lifeguard services, and
they flip the ship continuously in the ocean. And
  • 3:25 - 3:32
miraculously, this ship always comes back right
up, saying that this ship is going to go through
  • 3:32 - 3:39
very difficult waters. If it flips to one side,
it's going down. If it flips to the other side,
  • 3:39 - 3:45
it's going down. And if a big enough wave comes,
it will flip it over. But they built these ships
  • 3:45 - 3:50
now that they're almost like submarine.
Doesn't matter which way they get hit,
  • 3:50 - 3:55
they come right back up. They get flipped by
a huge wave, they go under, they come right
  • 3:55 - 4:03
back up. They've weight the bottom, they built
all sorts of ways for that ship to come up.
  • 4:03 - 4:08
And Allah (AJ) gives to us an inspiration within
our hearts: you have to be like this. If they do
  • 4:08 - 4:15
this for their dunya (material world), this
will be your entire life. That did you think
  • 4:15 - 4:22
you're going to get to these stations and these
realities, and you haven't been tested like those
  • 4:22 - 4:31
who came before you? Other sincere servants of
Allah (AJ) who've been tested with their life,
  • 4:31 - 4:37
their family, their property, their money,
their everything. Everything Allah (AJ) of
  • 4:37 - 4:45
their reality, He puts on the table. We're going
to test your love, We're going to test it with
  • 4:45 - 4:56
everything that you hold dear to you, you have
to be tested so that the love is sincere.
  • 4:56 - 5:03
That in our lives, the path was mocked. Every
time you love something, you'd go somewhere, and
  • 5:03 - 5:09
people would attack, ‘Oh, you're with this, you're
with that, you're from those teachings.’ It's not
  • 5:09 - 5:17
just us and our teachings that seem different to
people. When we were being taught, it was the time
  • 5:17 - 5:25
of Wahhabis, that they controlled every single
center in America, and we could barely go to a
  • 5:25 - 5:32
masjid with a turban that they wouldn't attack.
So you didn't have to have really scientific,
  • 5:33 - 5:39
spiritual teachings as ourself to be mocked. We
thought this was moderate in their teachings,
  • 5:39 - 5:48
and everywhere was an attack. And it's a
reminder. It's a reminder that people have
  • 5:48 - 5:56
an impression that they take a path, and this
path of glory will be lined up with people who
  • 5:56 - 6:01
want to give you trophies. Have you seen, like
a marathon, they line up to give you water,
  • 6:01 - 6:09
encourage you to continue on your marathon,
hopefully that you'll make it? But in reality,
  • 6:09 - 6:18
it's not that. In reality, you joined a marathon,
and everyone's trying to trip you. You're running
  • 6:18 - 6:22
nicely, thinking it’s everything is great,
and Allah (AJ) is sending this guy to go
  • 6:22 - 6:27
like this and flip you upside down, push you
over this side, push you over that side.
  • 6:27 - 6:35
I said – oh my gosh, it's such a interesting
concept that I would take a path of realities
  • 6:35 - 6:43
and love, and to love the best of creation, and
nobody appreciates this. And at the same time,
  • 6:43 - 6:52
they mock it. And from every direction, six
directions, you'll be attacked. Everyone will
  • 6:52 - 7:00
mock the path, mock the teacher, mock the
teachings, mock your sense of love, because
  • 7:00 - 7:07
this is all coming from Allah (AJ). Allah (AJ)
is allowing, because the shaitans (satan) can't
  • 7:07 - 7:14
attack you unless Allah (AJ) allows it. And the
reason we're describing it is because people have
  • 7:14 - 7:24
a misunderstanding of the path of truth. “It
tawasaw bil haqqi, it tawasaw bis Sabr”.
  • 7:24 - 7:32
Right? Surat Al-Asr describes what? That since
you came on this earth, your life is a descending,
  • 7:32 - 7:42
you're falling. This wasn't an achievement to
land on the earth; you're in a descent. But the
  • 7:42 - 7:51
path of truth are bricks of sabr (patience). So
if you want to know if you're on the truth, you
  • 7:51 - 7:57
have to know that you're being attacked, and your
life is the muraqabah (spiritual connection), so
  • 7:57 - 8:04
that your source of information is correct, that
you're connecting with the heart. And only the
  • 8:04 - 8:11
heart has a sense and a feel for what's
true. But you make it at the beginning,
  • 8:11 - 8:16
your connection. You don't make it at the
end, when shaitan is attacking you, and all
  • 8:16 - 8:20
of a sudden you're all over the place, left and
right you're being smacked around and tested.
  • 8:20 - 8:26
But at the beginning, they're warning: make
your connection strong. It's about to get
  • 8:26 - 8:32
rough this sea, that when Allah (AJ)
    give permission from these shaitans,
  • 8:32 - 8:38
they are relentless in our lives. And from… we
can speak only from our own lives. We would go
  • 8:38 - 8:44
to masjid, they would attack us. They would
just merely look at us and begin to talk bad,
  • 8:44 - 8:50
begin to come against Prophet ﷺ, come against the
tariqah (spiritual path). ‘You're from the Shaykh
  • 8:50 - 9:00
over in Cyprus?’ Every single possible trigger
    they would attack. Then we would have the books;
  • 9:00 - 9:04
they attack the books, they would attack
the teaching, they would attack the image,
  • 9:04 - 9:12
the look, and the whole way. And you think
to yourself, ‘Is this the wrong path?’
  • 9:12 - 9:17
And all their teachings were, ‘No, it's
exactly that that Allah (AJ) is testing:
  • 9:17 - 9:24
do you really love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ?’ And
do you know the Hadith of Prophet ﷺ that holding
  • 9:24 - 9:32
your deen (religion) in the last days would
be like a fire, a charcoal in your hand?
  • 9:32 - 9:40
And what's meant by that reality is that Allah
(AJ) allows the testing for the servant to be
  • 9:40 - 9:49
tested, that let's see how much this servant
wants to reach towards love. You do what you
  • 9:49 - 9:56
do is not because it's popular, not because it's
widely accepted, and not because it's fashionable.
  • 9:57 - 10:04
We do what we do for the sake of Allah's (AJ)
love and the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and
  • 10:04 - 10:11
His holy nazar (gaze). And always a reminder for
myself, because at every moment we have to remind
  • 10:11 - 10:17
ourselves and remind people whom are coming new
through the door, thinking this is the greatest
  • 10:17 - 10:25
thing since sliced bread, and I want to tell
everybody about this miraculous reality. But
  • 10:25 - 10:36
be prepared that nobody's ready to receive it
except by the permission of the Divine. Because
  • 10:36 - 10:44
that permission has to come to the servant, put in
their heart a strong magnetic attraction through
  • 10:44 - 10:52
their soul to reach to a reality that they
don't even know, they don't understand, but
  • 10:52 - 11:03
they have a wanting. And the shaykh is the first
line in that magnet. That when we teach people,
  • 11:03 - 11:10
propagate, send the article out, send a video out,
speak a good word and say, ‘This is the shaykh,
  • 11:10 - 11:18
this is the teaching, this is the path,’ and
you send your magnet out, not other magnets.
  • 11:18 - 11:25
What your heart was connected to, you send it
out to other people, because the people you know
  • 11:25 - 11:33
have the same algorithm as you. Didn't Facebook
teach you that, right? They go seven directions
  • 11:33 - 11:39
of your friends and relatives because they want
to know who you know. Most likely, you know them,
  • 11:39 - 11:44
you like them, you have similar interests.
Otherwise, why would you know them?
  • 11:44 - 11:49
So because of the similarity with you, they
target all your friends and families and all
  • 11:49 - 11:56
of your contacts because they must have similar
to you. Same in your spirituality is that you're
  • 11:56 - 12:01
going to know people similar to yourself.
When you're attracted to these teachings,
  • 12:01 - 12:08
you don't send the teachings of other shaykhs; you
send the teachings that were attractive to you,
  • 12:08 - 12:17
that mixed with your heart, your frequency. Most
likely, your seven directions of people you know,
  • 12:17 - 12:25
they're similar to you. What you like that
attracted you to that friend or to that relative
  • 12:25 - 12:30
most likely has a similar attraction to what
    you're hearing, what you're learning. And that's
  • 12:30 - 12:37
why they teach: take your shaykh’s teachings,
propagate them, send the video, send the articles,
  • 12:37 - 12:43
send the charity, send all of the different
    projects. Higher likelihood that they're
  • 12:43 - 12:51
going to like what you like versus you send
another shaykh that you're not even following,
  • 12:51 - 12:59
as if you're to misguide them into different
directions. When you're going on one path, you
  • 12:59 - 13:09
throw a bread out for somebody to go the left and
to the right, but that's not helping anyone.
  • 13:09 - 13:20
So this reality of love is a reminder for ourself
    – it's a very testing and trying path because
  • 13:20 - 13:29
love is not easy to achieve. And we even describe
further that real love is filled with heartbreak,
  • 13:29 - 13:37
filled with heartbreak. When you say you love
somebody and you have not been hurt by that love,
  • 13:37 - 13:49
your love is not real yet, right? Because they
say your toughest skin is the skin that been cut.
  • 13:49 - 13:57
Your little baby skin is not rough. As soon as
it gets cut, what happens? Scar tissue comes
  • 13:57 - 14:03
back stronger. That's why it has a different
even form. You see these warriors, their bodies
  • 14:03 - 14:11
were cut. Khalid ibn Walid (as), said there was
not a mark, a space on his body that didn't have
  • 14:11 - 14:21
swordcuts. How Allah (AJ) made his skin so rough,
    sort of worn, and a proof of who his character is;
  • 14:21 - 14:28
ishq is even more complicated. Love is something
going to be tested. Every time you get heartbroken
  • 14:28 - 14:35
that they don't appreciate the sunnah (traditions
of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), then your heart is broken
  • 14:35 - 14:44
but becomes more in love with Sayyidina Muhammad
ﷺ if it repairs. If you fall to shaitan and run,
  • 14:44 - 14:53
then shaitan got you. You became so superficial
that little bit of ooh and you run. So
  • 14:53 - 15:00
then we see that love has to be tested.
That the knowledges you hold dear, somebody mocks
  • 15:00 - 15:06
and you say, ‘Oh, I'll hide my knowledges,’ again,
Allah (AJ) said, ‘No, let your heart be broken.
  • 15:06 - 15:12
They didn't appreciate it? Send it to 10 other
people until you find one that does appreciate
  • 15:12 - 15:21
it.’ Because you don't care. You propagate for
the sake of propagating. We send the information
  • 15:21 - 15:30
for the sake of love. We make the posts and the
images, mashAllah, to blanket this key and this
  • 15:30 - 15:37
reality of the greatness and the holiness of
Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and the key for salvation
  • 15:37 - 15:43
in the last days. We don't care who likes it.
It's not about any popularity. But we're asking
  • 15:43 - 15:48
for Allah's (AJ) satisfaction, that ‘Ya Rabbi
grant me sincere love.’ He says, ‘Then listen
  • 15:48 - 15:55
to what this shaykh is talking about because
this is his formula given to him.’ If another
  • 15:55 - 16:01
shaykh has a formula that has worked for them,
then that's his responsibility for his students.
  • 16:01 - 16:09
But how we were raised is our responsibility to
teach people – your love is going to be tested.
  • 16:09 - 16:15
That what you believe going to be tested. Is
not going to be popular. Your image is going
  • 16:15 - 16:22
to be tested. It's not going to be popular.
I said all my relatives would not enjoy inviting
  • 16:22 - 16:29
me because of how I looked. They didn't come and
say, ‘MashAllah now we have mullah in our house,
  • 16:29 - 16:34
let's everybody invite him.’ But say, ‘Why you got
to look like this in this country? Take this off,
  • 16:34 - 16:39
take that hat off, take that off.’ Say, ‘Why I'm
going to take this off? I just not going to see
  • 16:39 - 16:47
you anymore.’ This is Allah’s (AJ) testing.
You get test, test, test. Then marks off,
  • 16:47 - 16:54
‘This servant is sincere about his love in this
issue.’ Then again you propagate the knowledge,
  • 16:54 - 17:01
‘He's sincere about his knowledge.’ Propagate
about the giving and charity and going out and
  • 17:01 - 17:07
giving food and every aspect that they're
asking. Every time there's a heartbreak,
  • 17:07 - 17:12
every time you go back to your sajadah (prayer
carpet) and you have a heartbreak and sadness, you
  • 17:12 - 17:18
ask Allah (AJ) repair it and to make it stronger
and let me to go deeper into that reality to
  • 17:18 - 17:26
achieve those knowledges, to carry the holy sunnah
of Prophet ﷺ, to continuously fight for the truth
  • 17:26 - 17:33
in which I believe, and this is my truth.
Every shaykh can plant a flag saying,
  • 17:33 - 17:43
‘That's not a truth.’ They say whatever they
want is their banner. They say, ‘No, no,
  • 17:43 - 17:48
it's not necessary to say this, it's not necessary
say that.’ Okay, that's your banner. Go out and
  • 17:48 - 17:53
tell the whole world that's what you believe and
see if there's 10 people behind you and enjoy it.
  • 17:54 - 18:03
So it means every shaykh has his banner.
When you find an attraction to the shaykh,
  • 18:03 - 18:11
then he gives you his formula. That these haqqaiq,
these realities, this way, propagate them. If you
  • 18:11 - 18:19
have a love for them, then face now you're going
to be heartbroken. Nobody's going to appreciate
  • 18:19 - 18:27
what you hold valuable of this reality. And
that's when they sent the Hadith that people
  • 18:27 - 18:33
is very… is very tough for people, where Prophet
ﷺ was describing that are you… you're coming to
  • 18:33 - 18:40
accept Islam, then be prepared for difficulty. But
you have to give the description of the flavor for
  • 18:40 - 18:45
that. It's not that you accept Islam and the
world collapses upon you. But what Prophet ﷺ
  • 18:46 - 18:54
is describing is that this is a real path, and
if you really want Divinely love, your love is
  • 18:54 - 19:01
going to be tested because this is the only real
value of love. Not love by tongue, is of no value
  • 19:01 - 19:05
to Allah (AJ), because the first thing He says
is, ‘When I bring you into heaven, I'm going
  • 19:05 - 19:14
to seal your tongue, your mouth,’ because we
know the mouth has a lot of ability to speak.
  • 19:14 - 19:22
So love by tongue has no value to Allah (AJ).
So when Allah (AJ) sees everybody's mouth,
  • 19:22 - 19:30
but he's going to ask now, ‘Hands, speak,’ every
servant, every servant. Says, ‘His hands, speak.’
  • 19:30 - 19:34
What your hands going to say? ‘Oh, I did what the
shaykh said. I propagated these.’ It’s even now,
  • 19:34 - 19:42
in last days, is more relevant that our hands are
doing everything. People forgot even how to speak.
  • 19:42 - 19:47
They have no social skills. If you take kids now
to talk with people, they don't know how to talk.
  • 19:47 - 19:51
Even more relevant now that Allah (AJ) say,
‘I'm going to seal their mouth and their hands
  • 19:51 - 19:56
are going to talk.’ Say, ‘Okay, what games you
played, what you did’. ‘No, I propagated, I shared
  • 19:56 - 19:59
articles, I did my zikr (Divine remembrance) and
my tasbih (prayer beads) that the Shaykh taught me
  • 19:59 - 20:08
to do.’ So even more so, our hands and feet will
talk, and before the feet can say anything, ‘I
  • 20:08 - 20:16
drove thousands of miles to see the Shaykh.’ That
they say if you go for masjid, you get the sawab
  • 20:16 - 20:21
and the blessing for every step that you're going
in the way. Then Mawlana Shaykh (Q) would say,
  • 20:21 - 20:27
calculate then the mileage you drove and bring
it down now into steps because you know Google
  • 20:27 - 20:35
Maps can say steps. You get the blessing of every
step you took for the sake of Prophet ﷺ because
  • 20:35 - 20:41
there's no business and commerce here. This is
all the association of ishq and muhabbat, those
  • 20:41 - 20:51
whom are gathering for the nazar of Prophet ﷺ.
That's why the path is real. That's why it's based
  • 20:51 - 21:00
on sincerity. That's why the shaykhs are asking
people: commit yourself, make your faith come
  • 21:00 - 21:08
into an action, and a action becomes something
tangible. Don't let the love that you have be
  • 21:08 - 21:15
something hidden in your heart that nobody knows,
not for your family, not for your children, and
  • 21:15 - 21:24
not for your shaykh. There are people whom have an
inability to tell their children they love them,
  • 21:24 - 21:30
and they set them on to a world in which the world
will tell them, ‘We love you, now just take your
  • 21:30 - 21:39
clothes off.’ Every type of abuse will come to
people because Allah (AJ) put within every heart
  • 21:39 - 21:47
and every soul the need to be loved and to express
their love. And again, a Bedouin came to Prophet
  • 21:47 - 21:53
ﷺ and said, ‘You show lots of love for children.
Well, I don't have this type of feeling.’ He said,
  • 21:53 - 22:00
‘What can I do for a person who has no heart,
no emotion?’ He was offended by coming to the
  • 22:00 - 22:05
presence of Prophet ﷺ. He was offended by
such a question from a man that saying that,
  • 22:05 - 22:10
‘You're talking so much about compassion and love,
I don't have it.’ So basically, get out of here
  • 22:10 - 22:18
if you don't have it. Our way is based on love and
compassion. And then love for family, express your
  • 22:18 - 22:27
love continuously so that the heart and the
soul understands because it is our path.
  • 22:27 - 22:33
When they can't express themselves and the
children don't hear this expression of love:
  • 22:33 - 22:41
‘Baba, I love you. Baba, I love you. Baba, I love
you.’ You hug, you kiss them, hold them. If you're
  • 22:41 - 22:48
growing mureeds (devoted disciples), then make
them at least good mureeds because they won't
  • 22:48 - 22:55
know compassion, they won't know love. Then, when
they come to the presence of a shaykh, they have
  • 22:55 - 23:04
no emotion because they're not been raised with
a gentle environment. So, everything that the
  • 23:04 - 23:12
tariqah is teaching is everything we apply within
our homes. Whatever we didn't have, Allah (AJ)
  • 23:12 - 23:21
gives us a family. Now, incorporate your love,
incorporate your emotions. Keep your passion and
  • 23:21 - 23:30
the love you think that you have in your heart,
bring it out and express it so that people know
  • 23:30 - 23:36
you're a person whom expresses their love.
Because faith in action is in every aspect.
  • 23:36 - 23:41
If they ask you… if Allah (AJ) ask your children,
‘Did you know if your father loved you?’ Say,
  • 23:41 - 23:46
‘Yeah, my father was crazy about me. He
did everything he possibly could for me.’
  • 23:46 - 23:52
And significant people in our lives the same.
Do they know that they loved you? Say, ‘Yeah,
  • 23:52 - 23:57
they were… they’re crazy for us, loving us all
the time.’ He said, ‘Did your shaykh know that
  • 23:57 - 24:03
you loved?’ ‘Yes, all the time I expressed my
love and my commitment to the path.’ Then we see,
  • 24:03 - 24:11
in every aspect of our life, our love is sincere.
Means there's no downside to these teachings, and
  • 24:11 - 24:21
only people who come against this, for some reason
that unknown to us. Why they don't want people to
  • 24:21 - 24:27
be sincere? Why shaitan doesn't want people to be
sincere? Because he wants them to be sincere for
  • 24:27 - 24:39
what he has as an agenda for people. And the bond
of ishq and muhabbat is the most powerful atomic
  • 24:39 - 24:46
molecular bond that insan (mankind) can make. It's
not a bond by head. If you convince your head,
  • 24:46 - 24:52
‘Um, okay, I think I love the Prophet ﷺ. I love
this guy talking, I love these teachings,’ your
  • 24:52 - 24:58
head will never take you to a reality. Your head
doesn't take you into their presence, your head
  • 24:58 - 25:05
doesn't make you to taste the knowledges.
Because as soon as you train in your tafakkur,
  • 25:05 - 25:09
train in your contemplation, hear the
shaykh's teachings, you close your eyes,
  • 25:09 - 25:15
you're experiencing seeing the shaykh’s teachings.
That's only by heart, not be ‘aqel (intellect). I
  • 25:15 - 25:20
can't take my brain to go understand what
Mawlana Shaykh (Q) was teaching. I had to
  • 25:20 - 25:26
put that teaching into practice, and as a
result, you build such a relationship that
  • 25:26 - 25:33
what the shaykh is teaching, it's coming into
my heart. And through my love and muhabbat for
  • 25:33 - 25:39
the path and for the presence of Prophet ﷺ, like
lightning, it takes my soul straight into that
  • 25:39 - 25:48
presence to experience that talk and experience
that reality. Only through ishq and muhabbat.
  • 25:50 - 25:58
Not through fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), not
through fiqr (thinking), right? Fiqh and fiqr – to
  • 25:58 - 26:04
think. It's not going to do that. Those
just give you a little bit of discipline,
  • 26:04 - 26:13
but ishq and muhabbat is a… is the house in which
we're going to make for Allah (AJ). Because ishq
  • 26:13 - 26:24
and muhabbat, love and kindness and gentleness
occupies the heart of the servant. The Ka’bah is
  • 26:24 - 26:29
the heart of the servant. Allah (AJ) says,
‘I'm not in heavens and I'm not on Earth,
  • 26:29 - 26:34
but I'm on the heart of the servant.’
Means what? That Allah (AJ) only occupies where
  • 26:34 - 26:46
there's love, not anger, not dogma. Always arguing
about something. You can have dogma in home,
  • 26:46 - 26:51
you can have dogma in business, and you can
have dogma in religion. Just arguing about
  • 26:51 - 26:58
    everything. Unnecessary facts. People want
to argue about everything in their homes,
  • 26:58 - 27:05
like a religion, almost like you have two or three
different religions in your home. How you do this,
  • 27:05 - 27:10
how you do that. You could be United Nations
in there, fighting on every border, in every
  • 27:10 - 27:16
room is a fight. It makes no difference.
Everything has to be based on the heart having
  • 27:16 - 27:24
ishq and muhabbat and love, and Allah (AJ) resides
in the environment of gentleness, kindness, and
  • 27:24 - 27:32
love. And when the servants understood that their
relationship is to bring the faith in action,
  • 27:32 - 27:37
then we talked before, then this is a path
in which Allah (AJ) has to grant sincerity
  • 27:37 - 27:47
to the love. When Allah (AJ) grant sincerity,
the supreme love is to the Divine. Means that
  • 27:47 - 27:53
now we went over what I have to do at home,
what I have to do with my relationship with
  • 27:53 - 28:01
relatives and friends, what I have to do with
Allah (AJ) and Prophet ﷺ, my path, as a result,
  • 28:01 - 28:12
Allah (AJ) then begins to teach us that your love
has to be sincere for Allah (AJ). Your connection
  • 28:12 - 28:19
has to be sincere for Allah (AJ).
And as a result of that sincere love,
  • 28:19 - 28:25
and Allah (AJ) grants sincerity in your supreme
love, means the love for the Divinely Presence,
  • 28:25 - 28:34
that Allah (AJ) comes first, Prophet ﷺ comes
first, everything else is nothing in comparison
  • 28:34 - 28:45
to that Divine love. As a result of my love for
the heavens, my love is satisfied on this Earth.
  • 28:45 - 28:53
But when people don't have their love for the
heavens, they try to find heavens within people.
  • 28:58 - 29:05
They try to find Divinely love within
people, and they want to change people
  • 29:05 - 29:15
to this way and that way because they put
their magnet in the wrong direction.
  • 29:15 - 29:21
So it means it realigns and teaches us: no, no,
don't follow dunya (material world), where dunya
  • 29:21 - 29:30
says, ‘Oh, your significant other is your entire
paradise, is everything for you.’ No, because
  • 29:30 - 29:37
if your magnet points in this direction, it's
pointing towards the dunya. As a result of that
  • 29:37 - 29:43
dunya, always you're going to be disappointed,
and people try to make you into something that
  • 29:43 - 29:50
you're not and make the love to be something
that it's not because it should have been, and
  • 29:50 - 29:58
the appropriate love is always for the heavens.
That's why we say “Ma fi qalbi ghairullah Nurul
  • 29:58 - 30:03
    Muhammadun sallallah”, is… that’s it.
It was not the children, it was not the
  • 30:03 - 30:10
family, it was not anybody else. Once they
understood that, my love for Allah (AJ), love
  • 30:10 - 30:17
for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, Ya Rabbi this is the
love. When they make that connection, understood
  • 30:17 - 30:25
that on their writing that Allah's (AJ) supreme,
love for Prophet ﷺ, this is my goal to be sincere,
  • 30:25 - 30:32
to make sure Allah (AJ) is satisfied and that
the nazar (gaze) of Prophet ﷺ is upon me. They
  • 30:32 - 30:40
directed their compass towards the heavens. Now,
when they face their family, they're not trying to
  • 30:40 - 30:48
get a Divine satisfaction because they already get
that from Allah (AJ). There's no competition.
  • 30:48 - 30:54
And when they face their children, they're not
getting a Divine love from them. They gave back
  • 30:54 - 30:59
the love; they didn't get the love. Wait till
your children are older, and what you put into it,
  • 30:59 - 31:04
you don't think, ‘I'm getting anything out
of this.’ This like a bank that only makes
  • 31:04 - 31:11
withdrawal, they don't deposit any.’ Right?
Your children don’t deposit anything. Say,
  • 31:11 - 31:18
‘Oh, how many years I'm going to do this? You're
just withdrawing, withdrawing.’ But if that's all
  • 31:18 - 31:23
you built your love on, you can become very
saddened when people just sit and say, ‘Oh,
  • 31:23 - 31:29
this is... I put all my effort into this.’ But say
no, my effort was only for Allah (AJ) and Prophet
  • 31:29 - 31:36
ﷺ. I find my satisfaction with the Divine. I don't
need them to make a deposit; Allah (AJ) will make
  • 31:36 - 31:43
my deposits. I get the satisfaction of the love
and the time I spent on this earth satisfying
  • 31:43 - 31:51
Allah (AJ), and his Rasul. And these were all
of the gifts He gave me. I love them for their
  • 31:51 - 31:58
ability to love me back. I love my relatives,
my friends, and my family for who they are,
  • 31:58 - 32:07
not for who I want them to be. It changes now
our perspective and our demand upon people.
  • 32:08 - 32:12
But when we don't have that, what is
shaitan making? ‘No, no, forget about
  • 32:12 - 32:16
the heavens. These are your heavens, this is
your paradise, this is this, this is that.’
  • 32:16 - 32:22
And they put all their effort into this and
try to mortify and to get something they're
  • 32:22 - 32:32
not going to get back from people. The only one
who can give us love back is Allah (AJ). Right?
  • 32:34 - 32:42
Allah (AJ) controls the hearts of people. Can
you face somebody and make them love you? Two
  • 32:42 - 32:46
time you hit them and they're going to love you?
You scream a little bit more, they're going to
  • 32:46 - 32:52
love you more? You can't make anyone love
you. You can't make your children love you,
  • 32:52 - 32:59
you can't make your relative, nobody. Allah (AJ)
can make them love you. Right? Because this is
  • 32:59 - 33:07
the haqqaiq of the shaykhs. Shaykhs don't chase
people to make them love them. They say, ‘Oh,
  • 33:07 - 33:12
this guy ran away, why you don’t call him
up?’ What, I'm going to call him and say,
  • 33:12 - 33:20
‘Hey, this your shaykh, where you… where
you go, where you at? I'm sending Jibreel
  • 33:20 - 33:29
to find you?’ These people would be scared. Say,
‘Why are you guys here?’ ‘We don't let you go?’
  • 33:29 - 33:37
No. We're not a business of chasing people to
love us. If they don't love, they don't love.
  • 33:37 - 33:44
Then they what, what's their system? They love
Allah (AJ) and Prophet ﷺ. And as a result,
  • 33:44 - 33:52
that opens all the talks on magnetism. When you
love the right one, the only one, what happens?
  • 33:52 - 34:01
Your heart is a Divine magnet to that source and
that power. If Prophet ﷺ is receiving your love,
  • 34:01 - 34:07
your action sincere, everything you're trying to
do to achieve of that reality, imagine the love
  • 34:07 - 34:14
that now comes back onto your soul. That magnet,
that faiz (downpouring blessings), that energy,
  • 34:14 - 34:22
we talked about in the levels of the heart and
the six powers of the heart, right? That's the
  • 34:22 - 34:26
tawajjuh (directing to Divinely Face), that’s
the tawassul (conveyance), that’s the faiz and
  • 34:26 - 34:36
all the haqqaiqs of the heart. As a result of that
powerful love, your heart, whom Allah (AJ) wants
  • 34:36 - 34:44
now, are attracted to you because your heart
is emanating this magnetism from Prophet ﷺ.
  • 34:46 - 34:54
As a result, Allah (AJ) makes those people whom
necessary to be attracted to you. Your children
  • 34:54 - 35:00
attracted to you because you achieve with good
character, kindness, and love, you achieved a
  • 35:00 - 35:07
heavenly love, a love with Prophet ﷺ.
As a result, this faiz then your family is
  • 35:07 - 35:13
attracted to the faiz, your children are attracted
to the faiz, your loved ones are attracted to the
  • 35:13 - 35:19
faiz. And this is the same faiz that brings the
students. They don't chase anybody; they don't
  • 35:19 - 35:26
go after people to solicit them. But it's the
character that they have that emanate love because
  • 35:26 - 35:32
people want to know how to have their family love
them. They go to the wrong people and say, ‘Make a
  • 35:32 - 35:36
du’a (supplication) and write something on a paper
to make this person love me.’ But that's not the
  • 35:36 - 35:45
system. The system is to teach people: love the
Divine, love the prophetic reality, receive their
  • 35:45 - 35:54
love back to you. This Divinely Grace emanates
to all creation, all of the fish, the animals,
  • 35:54 - 36:02
the creatures, everything Allah (AJ) has created
is attracted to that grace, that Divine Light.
  • 36:02 - 36:08
And you see these servants of ishq and
muhabbat, not only do their families love them,
  • 36:08 - 36:15
nature loves them. They walk out, and animals
are coming towards them because everything
  • 36:15 - 36:23
Allah (AJ) created in truth, not false things.
The false things they’re attracted to shaitans,
  • 36:23 - 36:31
but that which is a truth within its attracted
to this emanation, Divinely Grace and faiz.
  • 36:32 - 36:38
We pray that Allah (AJ) gives us a greater
understanding of the system of ishq and muhabbat,
  • 36:38 - 36:46
and not to follow the dunya version that shaitan
puts upon people, that we have to achieve from the
  • 36:46 - 36:54
real source, the real power, the one whom dressed
from that power station. All creation is attracted
  • 36:54 - 37:02
to them, those of the creation that want to
receive Divinely Grace in which the demonic forces
  • 37:02 - 37:07
have not obstructed their ability to achieve
that grace. We pray that Allah (AJ) dress us,
  • 37:07 - 37:14
bless us, and to keep us all connected to
Divinely mirrors and Divinely lights and the
  • 37:14 - 37:30
love and the ishq of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon,
