And this is one
of my favorite gaming phones—

REDMAGIC.

This is the REDMAGIC 10 Pro.

This one has the most powerful
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Full screen goodness
with 95.3% screen-to-body ratio.

7,050mAh of battery
with 100W of fast charging,

and it even has bypass charging.

And best of all, it has 144Hz
of screen refresh rate.

So this all-new REDMAGIC 10 Pro
comes in three variants:

we have the shadow variant
that's 12GB/256GB,

this one I'm holding
is the dusk variant

that's 16GB/512GB,

and it has another one
which is the moonlight variant

that's also 16GB/512GB.

here in the Philippines.

Talking about simplicity,
we can see that REDMAGIC

made it simple on the design
on the back.

It's not that complex
unlike before.

And I kind of like
the simple design on the back.

One thing you'll appreciate here
is that there are lights

on its "X."

Its color looks great
and you can change it

with different colors
inside the game center.

And here on the REDMAGIC logo.

Another thing to notice
is that this is probably one

of the phones that
has a flat back.

You'll notice it
when you hold its back

that there's no bumps here,
it's very flat,

so its camera module
won't be easily scratched.

It has two shoulder triggers,
there's the game mode button,

and this is the cooling fan intake,

and on the other side
is the exhaust.

This gaming phone
has three microphones,

one here, one on the bottom,
and one on the top

to be able to pick up
your sound really nice

when you're playing games.

One thing I noticed here
is that you won't be able

to see where its camera
really is here.

In the previous generation,
you'll see that

there's a bit of blur here
which is the camera.

But this time around,
I looked at it closely,

I can't see where's
the camera hidden anymore.

One good news is that
the photos in this phone

has improved
for its selfie shots,

which you'll see later
when we talk about the camera.

One of the good things here
is that its grip is very nice,

the back is very flat
and on the sides,

but there's kind of a round edge
on the sides

so it's not edgy.

This phone is being powered
by the latest

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite,
and it's really

a powerhouse of a chip
which can give you

a really, really good
gaming experience.

And when I tested it
on AnTuTu Benchmark,

it gave me 2.78 million points
on this benchmark.

And when it was broken down,
this is the score that I got.

And based on REDMAGIC,
it reached 3 million.

I did roughly 20 times
over and over again,

and I was playing
at around 2.6-2.7 million

and this is the highest
that I achieved.

It's nowhere near
the score that REDMAGIC

was showing that's around
3 million AnTuTu Benchmark score.

On Wild Life,
its loop score is 6,000

and its stability is 72%.

Its thermals are not bad
and it throttled to 76%

of its max performance.

This is the score that I got
on Geekbench

on CPU benchmarking
and GPU benchmarking.

Now this phone comes
with a 7,050mAh

and it now supports
100W of fast charging.

This is what I was requesting
previously with REDMAGIC

that they make it
at least 100W so that

it becomes at par
with what they're releasing

in China.

And finally, they've listened
because previously

on the 9S Pro, it is 80W.

And its battery also improved
from 6,500 to 7,050mAh now.

If you're a heavy user,
you'll really appreciate

the 7,050mAh of battery
inside your smartphone.

If you're using it normally,
one whole day,

you won't have any problems,
it can definitely last that long.

And if you're gaming extremely,
you don't need

to use its battery,
you can always use

a power bank
or you can always use

your charging cable
to use its bypass charging

while you're gaming,
so that your battery

is more protected.

When I put it under
the PCMark battery stress test,

the results that I got
are also good.

13 hours and 8 minutes
of screen-on time.

This is based
on 50% brightness

and 60Hz
of screen refresh rate.

For this gaming phone,
it's long-lasting.

This screen is being collaborated
between BOE and REDMAGIC,

and they came up
with a 6.85-inch AMOLED display

with a 1.5K resolution.

This is probably one
of the first ones

that has this resolution
on a full screen display.

Another good thing here
is that its screen covers

the whole screen,
its bezels are so slim,

and this totals to 95.3%
screen-to-body ratio

which is, for me, wow,
its screen is so huge,

it's all yours,
this phone is just goodness.

144Hz of screen refresh rate.

It has 2,000 nits
of maximum brightness.

And it also has 2,500Hz
of touch sampling rate.

Its frame border plus bezel
is just around 1.5 mm thick.

It's so thin.

And this one also comes
with a SGS eye protection.

I really am a sucker
for phones like this one

with no punch holes.

Browsing on socials,
I would say that

you would very much enjoy here
because of the goodness

of its screen
and my experience

is so smooth here,
be it browsing on Facebook,

TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter,
you won't have any problems.

And because this one
has a Level 1 Widevine Security Level

so you can watch HD here
on your favorite

online streaming apps.

And if you're watching
on YouTube,

expect a really good resolution
on this phone

because its colors
are very punchy

and black is blacker
definitely on this screen.

You get nothing
but the best viewing experience

on this phone.

It has two loudspeakers,
one on the top

and one on the bottom.

on this gaming phone.

is the bypass charging.

You can freely add games
into it.

So just select it,
exclude or include,

But you can freely switch back
to the old format if you want.

Right now, let's start playing.

And so I played a lot
of titles on this phone.

I played Call of Duty Mobile,
Farlight 84,

Call of Duty Warzone,
Honor of Kings,

Genshin Impact,
and Asphalt Legends Unite.

On Call of Duty Mobile,
expect a really,

really good gaming experience here.

And I was really able
to enjoy this one

because of its shoulder triggers.

Probably one of the good things
I want on this phone

is its shoulder triggers.

It gives you more flexibility,
especially when I'm playing

shooting games
like Call of Duty Mobile.

I would say the touch response
is really fast

because of its 520Hz
of touch sampling rate

on its shoulder triggers.

It was really fast to respond
on my every single touch.

And I would say that
you won't almost feel

any lags or frame drops
on this game.

And playing after 30 minutes,
the hottest I achieved

was around 38-39°C.

Now checking Farlight 84,
I also maxed out

its gaming graphics
and I was able to really enjoy

pushing it to the limit,
the Farlight 84.

And this game I would say
that I very much enjoyed

because its graphics
are very smooth.

Expect it from
a Snapdragon 8 Elite.

And it was fun playing
this game.

I played several
BR matches here.

The frame drops
were almost negligible

because I didn't notice anything.

Surprisingly, the hottest
it achieved was 43°C.

On Call of Duty Warzone,
this game, I would say

that it's optimized here.

And the way I see it is that
it can really give you

a good gaming experience,
the Call of Duty Warzone.

Though there are a little bit
of frame drops along the way

when you're running fast.

And one thing I also noticed
is that it feels great

to play Call of Duty Warzone
because on some

of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3,
this game kind of struggles

but not on the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Though I would say that
it's kind of hot

after 30 minutes of gameplay,
it reached 47°C.

On Honor of Kings,
I would say that

it's really easy here.

The graphics was smooth,
the gameplay was okay,

I would say that I won't have
any problems with this game.

And playing after 30 minutes
of ranked matches here,

it only reached 40°C
at the most on this phone.

Genshin Impact,
this is probably the best game

to play on this REDMAGIC 10 Pro.

And using
the shoulder triggers,

it gives you extra flexibility.

Honestly, I was really thrilled
to play this game

because it's so smooth
on this processor.

And the gameplay
was really nice,

the touch response
is really good,

the sound was really good,
I would say.

And what I like here the most
is that even on heavy battles,

you won't feel
any frame drops here.

And surprisingly,
it's not that hot

and it reached just 43°C
after 30 minutes of gameplay.

I was expecting it to be somewhere
near Call of Duty Warzone

but it didn't reach
that temperature.

Probably the ICE-X cooling system
helped this phone

with its 11 layers
of structure advanced

cooling materials here
to separate the heat faster

than ever on this phone.

And playing Asphalt Legends Unite
to prove to you

that it won't overheat
because of a racing game

like this one.

I would say for the benefit
of everyone,

I played this game,
though it's a little bit new to me.

The gameplay was good,
it's solid.

It's not that graphic-intensive.

The controls are so smooth,
you won't have any problems.

And it's really a full screen
so it's definitely good.

And guys, the hottest
it achieved was only 44°C.

It's nowhere here alarming.

And if you feel like
your phone heats up too much,

you can always buy
something like this one,

the Flydigi B7
that's recently released.

And I'll be testing this one

for extreme gaming,

especially on the REDMAGIC 10 Pro.

Let's talk about the camera
of this phone.

This one supports a 50MP
main camera sensor with OIS,

and it has a 7P lens
and APL coating for anti-glare.

This one is an OV50E
from OmniVision.

And there's another one
which is the OV50D 50MP sensor.

This is the ultra wide lens
and it has an optimized

distortion correction algorithm,
plus a 2MP depth sensor.

Its camera can shoot you
up to 8K and 30 FPS,

and its front-facing camera
is a 16MP front-facing shooter

which can let you shoot
up to 1080p and 30 FPS.

So I've tried some shots
on the REDMAGIC 10 Pro

and I've seen some improvements
with its rear camera.

And starting off
with this simple shot

of the rocks, I would say
it's a very simple shot

but you'll notice there's
a lot of details on the rock

when you zoom it in.

Probably one of my gauge
for details.

On its greens, I noticed
it's kind of saturated

this time around.

But its saturation is a good one,
not too much.

But on this orange flower,
it's alittle bit more saturated

than what I see
from the other cameras.

But this pink looks very natural,
almost the same

with what I'm seeing on actual.

Especially this white.

I love this color white.

And it looks good
even zooming it to the core.

I tried taking shots
from the ultra wide,

this is how it looks like,
and this is a normal shot.

One thing I noticed here
is that the camera

of the REDMAGIC 10 Pro
is better when it comes

to the rear camera.

And honestly, to be able
to take some shot like this,

the focusing on the subject
is great

and blurring all the way
to the background.

And taking some cityscape shots,
I would say that this camera

of the REDMAGIC 10 Pro
is really nice.

One thing you'll notice
on the skyscrapers

like this one
is the cloud details.

There's a lot of details
on the clouds

which I think is something
that I love on its camera.

Though its blue is
a little bit more saturated,

I would say, but it looks
kind of nice if you post it

on Instagram.

If you try to take
some indoor lowlight photography

of food, I would say
that looks pretty nice

and yummy, these food
that I've captured.

And honestly, I would say
that it's definitely a good camera

when it comes
to food photography.

Not the best
but for a gaming phone,

it's really decent
and really nice

for food photography.

Taking some Christmas
decor shots, looks really nice

and it's focused.

And I would say its camera
is able to take in

some really nice shots
when it comes to Christmas lights.

And you can see here
it's very evident,

it looks very nice
and very, very meaningful.

And even this shot of Jollibee,
I would say it's okay

and looks good,
the focusing on the subject

is good, it's very nice
and very clear.

I did try to take some
of these polar bear shots,

it looks really nice and cute.

And there's a lot of details
if you take a look at it.

For a spot lamp effect,
it also looks really nice

when you look at it.

If you come closer to the subject,
you'll be able to snap in

some nice one.

On its front-facing camera,
I have seen

some improvement on it.

That's one thing for sure
from the 9S and 9S Pro

where they've been glary
and hazy.

But this time around,
I would say it has improved.

Not to the point that
it's super beautiful,

but I would say
it became better this time around.

Though there are times
that it's still a little bit hazy

on my face, but I would say
it's a little bit more acceptable

than before.

But on indoor, I would say
it's still a little bit soft.

But there are times that
you'll be able to get

some really nice decent shots
on its camera

when you're indoors
like this one, it looks nice.

And this one,
it looks nice as well.

If you're vlogging using
the front-facing camera,

well, a little bit shaky.

It's not too shaky
but its camera I would say

it has improved.

And using its rear camera
to take a video,

it's very stable, very nice,
very sharp,

and I would say the resolution
is definitely great.

It's definitely a stand out
for a gaming phone.

Now honestly,
it's a good way to end the year

with a bang.

This REDMAGIC 10 Pro
is definitely, for me,

the best gaming phone for 2024.

I would hardly say it's 2024
because this was released

when the year is almost ending.

But I would rather say
that this is one

of the best gaming phones
that you can have

for early 2025.

So if I were you,
start the year right,

if you want a good gaming phone
wherein you don't have

to spend that much,
like the ROG 6,

REDMAGIC 10 Pro is definitely
the one that you should get.

You can virtually do anything
that ROG 9.

And one of the good things
is that it's not that expensive.

The pricing of the ROG
is a bit too much.

Overall, I would say
I was delighted with this phone.

One good thing is that
it has a full screen here,

and another good thing is that
its front-facing camera

has improved.

Hopefully, further
more improvements

on its front-facing camera, soon.
