What Does God Want and Why?

When you understand what God wants and

why he wants us to love him and it's

because he loves us, then what you

realize is that is the goal of creation.

That is the destiny on your life. That

is the goal of everything. In other

words, most of us, we spend our lives

trying to get somewhere. You're trying

to get a better job. You're trying to

get moved to another house. You're

trying to get somewhere else. But the

place where you're trying to get to is a

place where you love God and he loves

you. That's it. In other words, when you

get to that point, there's a deep peace

because I'm not saying that other thing

don't other things don't develop in your

life, but you've hit the point that

that's the that's the place you're

trying to get to. There is no more

struggle. You don't have to get to it.

You have to develop that point, but

you're at you got to the place. This is

the final stop on the train. You know,

everybody gets off. This is it. God

loves you. You love God. That you and it

it creates a depth of peace that

circumstances will never be able to get

to it. And think about this. Nobody in

this room of course, but most other

human beings on the planet are trying to

improve their circumstances that that's

going to make their life better. But

really, God is saying the circum

circumstances are really secondary. The

main thing is just for you to love God

and God loves you. And sometimes in the

worst circumstances, you're more in the

place you should be. But when you

realize that you say, you say, "Well,

listen, I I may may not be that smart. I

may not be that talented. I may not be

that strong, but I can love God and he

can love me." You got it. You got You
