Ten Palestinian teenage boys, who were reportedly detained near the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid site in southern Gaza, were released after being held by Israeli forces for nearly a month.
Omar Nizar Asfour, a 17-year-old boy, said that they were subjected to various forms of torture, including electric shocks and beatings with batons.
Asfour stated that they endured “one whole month of torture,” adding, “They would yell and beat us for fanning ourselves with the slippers,” as they tried to cool down from the heat.
Anadolu Agency reported that the boys who were brought to Nasser Hospital showed visible signs of severe physical abuse.
