Banikantha Nimai Charan Harichandan (1901-83) sings 'E Ta Bada Paramada Re', an Odissi song authored by the poet Brundabana, in which Radha talks to sakhi about the charms of Krishna. This seems to be one of his early recordings, and the influence of his Guru, Pt. Gokul Srichandan (1870-1947) is perceptible in the tightly bound performance. This extremely rare 78 RPM record is from the ancestral collection of Sri Rajendra Behera, was located by the efforts of Pt Ramarao Patra and kindly archived by @odiamelody. ଏ ତ ବଡ଼ ପରମାଦ ରେ ସହି
କିଣାଜନ ପରି ଏକା ନାମ ଧରି ଡାକଇ ମୁରଲୀ ନାଦରେ । ଘୋଷା ।
ଯାଉଥିଲି ବାଟେ ଦେଖିଲି ନିକଟେ ନ ଚାହିଁଲି ତାଙ୍କୁ ଆଡ଼ରେ
କେ କି ହୋଇ ସଖି ଡୋଳେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ପଡ଼ିଲି କାମ ଅଗାଧରେ । ୧ ।
ଗୁରୁଜନ ଅନ୍ତେ ବସି ମୁଁ ଏକାନ୍ତେ ବିଚାରୁଥାଇ ବିଷାଦରେ
ସୁଧା ଖାଉଁ ଖାଉଁ ଶିରଚ୍ଛେଦ ରାହୁ ହେଲା ପରି ମୁଁ ତ ସ୍ୱାଦରେ । ୨ ।
ଏହି କଥା ଜାଣି ଯମୁନାକୁ ପାଣି ଆଣି ମୁଁ ନ ଯାଇ ତା ଡରେ
ନାହିଁ ଗୋପପୁରୀ ମଧ୍ୟେ କେତେ ନାରୀ ଲାଗିଛି ମୋ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବାଦରେ । ୩ ।
ବୃନ୍ଦାବନ ଭଣି ରାଧା ବାଣୀ ଶୁଣି ଦୂତୀ କହେ ଆହାଲାଦରେ
