Called Out and Be Separated: The Church in the Wilderness / Kingdom School - Lesson 3

welcome here to lesson three in the

Kingdom school I am so excited to be

with you today and we have a very

special lesson today this teaching is

going to impact you a lot if if if you

really understand it and receive it and

uh I'm going to share more about that in

very short time first uh since last time

I have been there in Panama I was in

Panama with some of the students from

our ltin school school and uh and we

went there and it was beautiful and I

want to encourage all of you out there

go on Mission go out do do Mission even

before I I start to travel the way I did

U Back in Denmark me and my family we

put the kids in the car and then we went

to another country and and just starting

to preach Jesus start to make disciples

starting to come out and and and it it

just do something it's really special

because how often do the days not just

go like one week there two weeks there

one months two months one year two years

five years 10 years and it's just a

routine it's just the same day same

life day after day week after week

months after months like you had to

break out of that Circle you had to

break out and and experience things and

we were there just I think five days or

six days and those five six days so many

things happened all of us we we got

experience we we saw many life changed

and and this is what we can do this is

what you can do one of our friends who

was with us there did a trailer it's

just a few minutes trailer with a

beautiful song The Revival anant we love

to the word here in the beginning just

it's I think it's two and a half minutes

and like yes we need to go we need to

preach the gospel we need to die and be

and and I want to challenge all of you

out there since last time we spent a

week there six days there

what what what happened in your life

since last time I I just want to

challenge you come on guys we need to

grow we need to make a different maybe

it's not going to Panama but we are

called to live this life we are called

to not only preach about the kingdom of

God we are called to live it and here

you can see one of those who got set

free look at the eyes there and and and

I want to encourage you to live this

life take this teaching about the

Kingdom and then let it transform your

life let it transform the way you are

prioritized and let it run the race do

that you run a race with with endurance

with power and and really become a good

and faithful servant there there to see

a lot of things happen some response to

God whoa this teaching have opened my

eyes and helped me in so many ways I had

so many questions to the things you

explained and now I understand it

Hallelujah and I believe as we move on

we are building building building it

become more and more and more and more

clear now I understand it I thank God

for this teaching and I know it will

help so many people out there and open

their eyes and change their way of

thinking thank you for that I love that

response and uh so we are going to

continue today and we are going to build

on what we have talked about

already first lesson it was from

beginning to the new beginning and that

was like a timeline that's very

important where you see the greater

picture the last lesson was the Covenant

of

Abraham and I'll just show here what we

spoke about last time God gave a promise

to Abraham and his seed abra's children

Isaac and Jacob circumcision as a son

done by human hands circumcision was

cutting off the forkin that is the

uncleanness there were now God's chosen

people Israel Exiles and forers on Earth

HS to the promise looking for the

promised L and as we look at is a shadow

and picture and all point to Christ the

New Covenant the promise was to Abraham

and his

seed

Christ we are now a children to faith in

Christ baptized into Christ that is our

circumcision assign done by Christ or

the circumcision done by Christ in the

heart baptism is put it off the whole

flesh that was ruled by sin and death

the uncleanness so we don't need to walk

as slave to sin anymore we can walk in

Romans 6 freedom from sin again I have a

whole chapter listen about about that no

longer Jews and Gentiles but a new

creation and now God's chosen people or

we are God's chosen people together with

Israel and they still a Remnant and I I

spoke about that we are now Exile and

foreigners as we are in this world but

not part of this world we are hirs to

the promise looking for a Heavenly

country and a New Jerusalem that was

what I spoke about last time

today the lesson today lesson three is

called called out I will be their God

and they will be my people called

out in the beginning of this lesson I'm

we are going to do a little different we

are going to read a lot of lot of Bible

verses we're going to read whole

chapters and nor we don't do that in the

Liston read so much as we do and in the

beginning it can see a little slow

because there's a lot of information

there's a lot of Bible

verses but this become very very

powerful when you see it and and if you

can get this teaching if you can

understand that the

church is those who are called out if

you can understand this mess it and what

it is I'm trying to share it will change

you if we do that you stop compare

yourself with your neighbors and look at

them and how they're living and and stop

trying to make your church look like the

world and try to please the world why

because you are not of this world you

are called out that is what the church

should be and I feel that when I Was

preparing this and going through this

teaching here the last weeks it just

that that phrase have just been in my

mind

I'm called out we are called

out how do we make discip how do you

make

churches we make it as a please God

because we belong to him he called us

out as his holy people his Nation so

there's so many things we we will cover

here and it go a little slower in the

beginning but uh but then suddenly it

speeds up and and you will see it and

I'm excited for this

and he will bless you a lot and uh and I

want you to see we of course have a

break and and I want to welcome you to

this teaching we start in Acts 7 and uh

we read a lot of verses here but let's

start here and I'll try to go through

very fast

here brothers and fathers listen to me

the god of Glory appeared to Our Father

Abraham while he was still in

Mesopotamia before he lived in Haron

leave your country and your people God

said and go to the land I will show you

so he starts there with Abraham so

Abraham left the land and settle in

Haron after the death of his father God

sent him to this land where you now are

and are living He gave him no

inheritance here not

even enough ground to sit his feet on so

Abraham did not inherit but it it was

first laid out with his seed when his

offspring who will inherit the

land but God promised him that he and

his descendants after him would possess

the

land even though at the time Abram have

no children and we move on God spoke to

him in this way for 400 years your

descendant will be Stranger in a country

that is not their own and they will be

enslaved and

mistreated but I will punish the nation

that serve a slave God said and after

word they will come out of the country

and worship me in this place so so this

is what we looked at last time also and

this is quoting back there for Genesis

15 and then he he continues just going

through the story to give us

understanding of what happened those 400

years uh later also when they were

slaves and so on but let's read on then

he gave Abraham the Covenant of

circumcision as we looked at and abrah

became father to Isaac and circumcised

him the eighth day after his birth later

is said become the father of Jacob and

Jacob become the father of the 12

Patriarchs so here we have the story of

Israel Abraham Isaac Jacob and the 12ri

tribes of

Israel because of the patriarch was J

jealous of Joseph they sold him as a

slave to Egypt but God was with him and

rescued him from all his troubles I like

that TR try to be Joseph being thrown

into the pit being falsely accused be

thrown into jail troubles troubles

troubles but then we read here that God

res resued him from all his

troubles

um my life have been Liv my country

persecuted thrown into

jail and I can also say God rescue me

for all my troubles to be rescue for all

your troubles don't mean that you not go

through the troubles but it mean that

you will overcome the troubles you will

find Victory on the other side because

God are with you and I I I love this

verse here he then gave Joseph wisdom

and able him to gain the Good Will of

pharaoh the king of Egypt so Pharaoh

make him ruler over Egypt and all his

Palace then the famine struck all Egypt

and Cana bringing great suffering and

our ancestors could not find food when

Jacob heard that there was grain in

Egypt he sent our forefathers

on their first visit on their second

visit Joseph told his brothers who he

was and Pharaoh learned about Joseph

family and again wh wh why why do why do

Stephen start with this just talk about

Jesus no he need to start with this why

because it's all

connected and and we often don't talk

like that today but that was what they

was preaching of course they was

speaking to the Jews at that time but

you also see later when they talk to

Gentiles they also spoke about the God

of Abraham Isaac and Jacob they they

went back in history let's move on after

this Joseph sent for his father Jacob

and his whole family

all then Jacob came down to Egypt where

he and our ancestors died their bodies

was brought back to sh

and place in the Tomb that Abraham had

bought from the sons of Hammon at sham

for a certain sum of money as the time

drawn near for God to fulfill his

promise to Abraham the number of our

people in Egypt have greatly

increased so so we see here at the time

drawn near for God to fulfill his

promise to Abraham God had a plan from

beginning God still have a plan today

there was things that needed to happen

that Israel should become a nation

Abraham started with a man who became a

family who became a nation and it all

happened there in Egypt they came in as

a family and they left as a nation and

it needed to heaven but when the time

draw near for God to fulfill that

promise what promise was that that he

will set them free from slavery he will

call them out of Egypt to go out to

worship God and there's a message here

and we're going to look at this message

today we

continues then a new king to whom Joseph

meant nothing came to power in Egypt he

was very evil and dishonest with our

people he beat them down and forced them

to throw out their first newborn babies

to

die at that time Moses and we see again

a picture with Christ and Moses how we

have Herod who wanted to kill all the

firstborn so Joseph took Moses and fled

and Jesus and fled to Egypt for a time

and then came back to Jerusalem and and

here it was Moses who they tried to kill

so

come back to many many things later at

that time Moses was born and he was not

our orinary child for three months he

was taken care of for his family when he

was placed outside Pharaoh's daughter

took him and brought him up as her own

son Moses was educated in all the wisdom

of the Egypts and was powerful in speech

and action

a few more slides here I know there's a

lot of story but it is important when

Moses was 40 years old he decided to

visit his own people the Israelite he

saw one of them being mistreated by

Egyptian and he went to defend and

Advance him by killing the Egyptian

Moses thought that his own people were

recognized that God have used him to

rescue them but they did not it didn't

go to way Moses expected and it often

works like that also with you and me the

next day Moses Came Upon two Israelite

who was fighting and he tried to

reconcile them by saying man you are

brothers why do you want to hurt each

other but the man who was mistreated the

other pushed Moses aside and said who

make you ruler and judge over us I like

that

part are you thinking of killing me as

you killed the Egyptian yesterday when

mosa heard this he fled to medium where

he settled as a f or have two sons after

40 years have passed a angel appeared

for Moses in the Flaming flames of a

burning bush in the desert near Mount

Si when he saw this he was amazed of the

side side and he went over to get a

closer look and then he heard the lord

said I am the god of your fathers the

god of Abraham Isaac and

Jacob Moses trembled with fear and did

not dare to

look then the Lord said to him take off

your sandal for the place you standing

Are Holy Ground I have indeed SE the

oppression of my PE people in Egypt I

have heard their groaning and have come

down to sit them free now come I will

send you back to

Egypt and then we read this is the same

Moses they had rejected with the words

who make you ruler and judge he was sent

to be the ruler and delivered by God

himself to the angel who appeared to him

in the bush I like that it's it's not

about being seen by people and called by

people it's by being called by God so

they rejected Moses but God called him

they said who have made

you the ruler and jge over us and the

answer is godhe and God did it but let's

read on and just one more here and then

we I want to share

something he let them out of Egypt and

perform wonders and signs in Egypt and

the Red Sea and for 40 years in the

wilderness this is the Moses who told

the Israelite God will raise up for you

a prophet like me from your own people

this is one of the key verses we are

going to come back to again and again

and again he tell a story

here to share that as they had

Moses we now have Jesus Jesus is the one

Moses spoke about Jesus is the one that

go back to creation that go back to Noah

go back to Abraham Isaac jaob Jacob to

go back to our for fathers and then he

talk about Moses in the story and he

actually talk about Moses and he talk

about the Tabernacle he talk about josa

he talk about David he talk about

Salomon he talk about how

Salomon make a drilling place from

God but we know that God don't drill in

houses built by human

hands and therefore we have Christ and

and so we read a a one story a long

story he continues as I said talk about

Joshua and he bring David in there and

and then he said that that God wanted to

make make a dwelling place with the

people and then how Salon build a house

for God and then he end up here however

the most high does not live in houses

made by human hands as a prophet said

Heaven is my throne and the Earth is my

foot stool what kind of house would you

build for me as the Lord said so here

there's one long story and we know that

Christ

came and he rose again and he is now the

one building the house for God by Living

Stones you and me you and me are the

Temple of the Holy Spirit but say a lot

of things to bring out of this text but

one of the key

verses is that God will raise up a

prophet like me from your own

people and who is that Prophet that

Prophet is

Christ and like we read here like

Stephen go through the whole history

when he was preaching the gospel we see

Peter did the same a few chapters before

somehow he the way he preached here he

said

here now fellow Israelite I know that

you acted in ignorance as your leaders

and he talk about Christ and Christ

being

crucified but this is how God fulfilled

what had been for told through all the

prophet saying that his Messiah would

suffer so he's he's saying that Christ

crucified need to heaven because it was

foretold through the prophet it was it

was what God Said and then he continue

repent then and turn to God so that your

sins may be wiped out and time of

refreshing may come from the Lord and

that he God may send the Messiah who

have been appointed for you even Jesus I

want to notice something

here he said

repent so your sins can be wiped out and

the time of refresh will come that God

may send the

Messiah when did he said that when when

did he say that before the cross that

hey repent because God want to send the

Messiah he said it after the

cross after the cross he say repent why

because time of refreshing may come from

the Lord and God may send the Messiah

but have God not already sent him yes he

was already sent and he have died on the

cross but he rose up

again and he will be sent a second

time and we don't think like that we

don't think hey God we send the Messiah

yeah but yeah

again we are waiting for God to send the

Messiah let's read on here Heaven Must

receive him Heaven Must receive him that

was after Jesus rose again until the

time come from God to restore Everything

Jesus came first time he did not restore

everything back first time he came he

came to pay the price all authority is

be given to him he's in heaven now until

the time come where God will restore

everything is all in God's timing and

planning like it was with Abraham and

what God spoke to him and with Moses so

he's now in Heaven until the time come

as he promised long time ago through his

holy

prophets for Moses said and he said the

same God the Lord God will raise up from

you a prophet for like me from your own

people

you must listen to him listen to

everything he tells you and everyone who

did not listen to him will be completely

cut off from their

people this is the same language we saw

in the last letter with the Covenant to

Abraham everyone is not being

circumcised will be cut off the people

they will not inherit

now God have raised up a prophet like

Moses and that is Jesus Christ and now

we must listen to him and everyone who

do not listen to him will be cut off

they will not

inherit and he's now in heaven and we

are now waiting the Messiah to come down

from heaven to restore everything as he

said and this is the words here Heaven

Must receive him until the

time for God to restore everything as he

promised long time ago it's all

according to God's plan and God's

timeline I want to add second Peter here

second Peter 3:9 is saying this the Lord

is not show slow in keeping his

promise as some understand slowness

instead he's patient with you not

wanting everyone anyone to perish but

everyone to come to

repentance God is not slow in keeping

his promise it's all according to God's

timeline but God is patience with

you with me he don't want anyone to

Parish but that we all come to

repentance and this is the message we

need to

preach it's according to God's timeline

and what we are going to see now we're

going to bring one thing up in in what

Stephen said and I want to focus on

this Stephen said this

before this is the Moses who told Israel

God will raise up a prophet like me from

his own people but notice here

this was him who was in the church in

the wilderness with the angel who spoke

to Moses on Mount

Si notice the word

here this was him who was in the church

in the

wilderness was there a church in the

Wilderness at the time of Moses

yes there was we read that here the

church in the

wilderness but they there was thousand

of

years before Christ there was no cross

there was no church building there was

no Sunday meeting the way we have it

today and a few songs and worship and so

on but when Stephen talked about

the people in the Old Testament he used

the word the

church the Israelites what were they

they were the church in the

wilderness like we are the church

today how shall we understand

this how can they be the church at that

time the the problem with us when we

read a word like this there were the

churs in the wilderness is that when we

hear the word

churs right away we think of something

completely else many think of a church

building the church I go to the church

you cannot go to the church you cannot

go to a church building or I'm sitting

in the church right now and we look at

building it's just a building that that

is not the choice

what is it with the word church the word

church here is Ecclesia Ecclesia and we

read here what it means it come from the

word are calling out or called out the

churs are the people that is called

out if you belong to the church if you

are the church let's say like this you

should be called

out called out from where from

Egypt the israelit was called out from

Egypt or like Noah we saw last time they

were called out from this evil perverse

generation first Peter is saying this

you are chosen people our royal

priesthood our holy nation

God's special possessions and he said

that to the Jews and it's still for the

Jews today also but he now he's actually

addressing us Gentiles because we we are

taking part of this so he's saying that

to us that you may declare the praise of

him who called you

out of Darkness into his wonderful light

we are called out we should be called

out we should not live in darkness

anymore we should live in light that

there should be a big difference between

those who are the church God's people

and those who are not second Corinthians

Paul said this here what argument is

there between the temple of God and

Idols for we are the Temple of the

Living God and God has said I will be

with them and walk amongst them and I

will be their God and they will be my

people

therefore come come out from them and be

separate said the Lord touch no unclean

thing and I will receive you this is the

message to the church

today we there is a promise here and

what is that the promise that go through

the whole Bible is I will walk with

them I will be their God and they will

be my people that is the promise I will

walk talk with them they will be my God

and I will be their people

therefore come

out come out from them come out of Egypt

come away from this Wick perverse

generation as we looked at last time

come out of e Egypt and be separate

touchs no unclean things

and I will receive you that is the

promise we need to come

out why because God is

Holy and he cannot have with sin and

this is the

message and and and Peter he

continues a little where Paul Liv Paul

said this Peter he said this

here therefore with Minds that are alert

and fully sobered set your hope to the

grace that have been brought to you when

Jesus Christ is Reve is revealed as his

coming so we should be alert sober

minded and we should set the hope to the

grace that is been brought to us when

Jesus Christ is revealed and he's coming

as obedient CH children do not conform

to the evil desires you had when you

live in

ignorance but just as him who called you

is Holy be holy in all you do all you do

as it is written be holy because I am

Holy since you call on a father who

judge each person work live out your

time as forer here in Revel fear

be holy as I am

Holy that is the message come out of her

touch no unclean thing and I will be

with you that is the

church but if I look at the church today

if we think of the church today do we

see this do we see that that the church

is separated from the world world or do

we see the church is part of the world

do we not dress up like the world do we

not listen to the music like the world

do we not talk as the world do we in the

church not see as much divorce and

remarriage as we see in the world and

the truth is the church have not come

out of Egypt yet yet not the way we are

supposed to and we're going to look at

this we are the temp of the the Living

God God he will live with us and walk

among us he will be our God and we will

be his people but for him to do that we

need to what come out from them and be

separate touch no unclean thing and then

I will receive you there was the promise

God gave to the

Israelites and that is the promise gave

to

us but read here they the Israelite they

had that promise from

God but first they need to come out from

those they were enslaved by in order to

enter into the promise they were

enslaved in Egypt and then Moses came

and called them out in the same way we

are enslaved by our own Egypt we are

enslaved by Babylon and we now need to

come out and be separated in order to

receive what God has

promised and Al as we're going to see

later in in this chapter is

that there will be a a judgment coming

and

Babylon will

fall and if we are not coming out of

Babylon if we are

not coming out of Egypt if we are not

coming out of Sodom and gorra if we are

not being saved by from this wicked

generation we will be judg together with

this wicked evil

generation and what is the church the

church is those people who have come out

the church is those people who have been

separated from this world the church is

those people who are in the world but we

are not part of the world the church is

not those people who dress up every

Sunday and go to church for a few hours

and sing some songs and then go home and

then the rest of the week see the same

movies listen to the same musics talk

the same talk and live like the

neighbors if we live like this world we

will be judged with this world and we

need to understand this that that we are

being justified but then we need to be

Sanctified otherwise we will not be

glorified that day when he

returns and and that is the message that

is the gospel we see with the

Israelites when we then look at us today

you and me we have received the grace of

God but what is the grace of God the

grace of God is not just a cover up of

sin the grace of God is actually here to

help us to set us free from sin to teach

us to transform us listen to what Titus

is saying here for the grace of God have

appeared to offer salvation to all

people it teaches us to say no to

ungodliness and worldly passs and live

self-control upright and godly lives in

this present age so in this present age

we have received the Holy Spirit who

help us to live holy or we have received

the grace of God to help us to live holy

while we wait for the blessing hope the

appearing of the glory of our great God

and Savior Jesus Christ who gave himself

for us to redeem us from what from all

wickedness and to purify for himself our

people that are his own people eager to

do what is good so Christ gave himself

for us to redeem us from

sin and to purify for himself a

people that are his

own Christ died to save us from our sins

but much more more than

that he died to

purify for

himself his own

people a people that is called out of

this world a people who are separated a

people who TS no unclean things so God

can come and receive us so he can can be

our God and we can be his people the

church and this is some of the things we

are looking at here and it's going to be

very very interesting as we move on here

and and we are going to have a break now

and then after a break we are going to

look at at at the fall of Babylon and

what that mean and and and how how is

all one story that God is longing

for people of his

own but God is

Holy and if God would just come down as

it was everyone would be killed so

therefore he sent his son Jesus to

redeem us from our sins but also to

purify a

people where God he can say this is my

people and he wanted that with the

Israelite in the

desert but they

didn't complete the race they didn't do

it they kept looking back over the

shoulder yes they left Egypt but Egypt

never left them and therefore they did

not enter into the promised land and

this is standing as a warning for you

and me today and this is some of the

things we're going to look at after the

break

so we are going to continue now and the

fall of Babylon and that is talking

about Revelation 18 and we read

here after these things I saw another

angel coming down from heaven he have a

great Authority and His glory filled the

Earth with light with a mighty voice he

shouted falling Babylon the Great have

falling see had become a place for where

demons live she had become the den of

every evil spirit she had become the

nest of every unclean and hated bird all

the nation have drunk the strong wine of

a terrible sin the kings of the earth

took part of her evil ways the traitors

of the world grew Rich from her grave

will everyone is many people discussing

what is the mystery Babylon today is it

this and this and this but I want to

come with the message here so there will

be a fall of Babylon there will be a

fall a judgment coming to this world as

we saw with the days of Noah as we saw

with with Sodom and gorra and then Peter

he's saying this here second Peter

2 later God condemned the cities of s

and G and turn them into heaps and Ashes

he made them a symol of what will happen

to ungodly people and that is the

message God had made all of these

examples of what will happen today again

with ungodly people but God rescu lot

out of Sodom man because he was a

righteous man who was sick I would say

sick in his stomach of the shameful

immorality of the wicked people around

him yes L was a righteous man who was

torment in his soul by the wickedness he

saw and heard day after day so you see

the Lord knows how to rescue godly

people from their trials even while

keeping the wicked under punishment

until the day of final judgment so here

we have lot who was was in Sodom Andorra

while he was there his soul was torment

because of all the wickedness he

saw because of the righteousness he

had he was sing his stomach for what he

saw

happened the truth

is I feel

that that sickness in my stomach of

sin but it's not just sin I see in in

the

world it's sin I see in the

church and that is the thing instead of

we coming out of Egypt we have brought

Egypt

into the

church and and and there is a message

here for all of

us first you need as a born again

believer who will live a righteous life

you you should be sick in it in your

stomach you be should be sick in your

stomach over all the evilness you see

when you see TV when you hear music but

the truth is we have being so used to it

we are like we we fill ourselves with a

lot of things and we don't we are not

torment anymore in our righteous soul

with everything that's happening around

us why this is how it should be we

should feel like

this we should feel be like this with

everything that's

happening but all of this is a messing

that is pointing to today Jesus also

talked about it when he said here in

Luke just as it was in the days of Noah

so it will be in the days of the man son

of man so as it was with Noah as it was

with Sodom lot it would be today people

was eating drinking Mary and being given

in Mary up to the day Noah enter into to

the ark when the flood came and

destroyed them all it was the same in

the days of

Lord people was eating and drinking

build buying and selling Planning and

Building but the day Lord left Sodom

fire and Surfer rain down from heaven

and destroyed them all it will be just

like this on the day the son of man is

raled

so this is how it will

be each story you see in the Bible we

see that people are called

out are called to leave

leave this wicked World leave Egypt

leave Sodom and gorra and now we should

leave Babylon we should come out of this

system out of this

world be not conformed to this

world but be renewed in our mind be

transformed to be

purified as God's people dear friend I

urge you AO Jo Exiles and that is what

we are we are F joh exiled we need to

look at ourself and finders and exiled

we are pilgrims we are soul Jers on our

journey here we are in the world but we

are not part of the world we are live in

Egypt we are live in Babylon we we are

being purified to be God's holy people

so we will not be judged with the rest

when fire is coming down from

heaven I urge you as for joh exile to ex

abstain from sinful desire which weit

war against your soul live such good

life among the pagans that though they

accuse you are doing wrong they will see

your good deeds and glorify God on the

day he visit us live Source

alive amongst the

pagans a

Christian a disciple of Christ is not

somebody who who who

just live in the world who is where

Christ just cover our sin is somebody

who is have left a in the world but have

somehow left this world we still here

but now we are living a life here

amongst the pagans those who don't know

God we we we live amongst those who

don't know God but we don't live like

those

who who don't know God and and I want to

say the other

day uh we have some friends where we

just heard the other day how

how a friend have actually just left his

wife and and found a a woman not a woman

and and they getting divorced and we saw

that we saw it on Facebook and and my

wife Lena showed it to me and came and

said look here and I was just shocked

and like what is happening and me and my

wife we have a talk about it and and we

we just said

that if you try to live like the

world you will fall you cannot live you

cannot be a Christian and live like

everyone

else and and we can just see that

there's so many people who love Jesus

who accept Jesus but they never really

been separated with this world they they

try to live like the Norms of this world

they they they build houses and cars and

work and do everything else and are busy

like this world and slowly this world is

just coming in more and more and more

and it's much easier to live as a

disciple if you just live radical out

there you need to live a life in Revival

you need to live out there understand

who you are God's chosen people a holy

nation we live amongster Pagan but we

are not we don't live like the P pagans

we are far on exile we abstain from from

a sinful desire we live among them but

we do not live like

them and the problem with the

Israelites in the Old Testament that we

are going to look at is that

they were truly called by God and they

left

Egypt physical they left Egypt but Egypt

never left them

Egypt never left them they keep looking

back over the shoulder it was Bigg

better that time they keep

sinning they did like Lot's wife looked

over the shoulder and became a salt a

pillow of

salt we should not look over the

shoulder we should not look back to the

old life we we we should move forward we

should have our Focus where we are

going and the Israelite they have

everything we had they were the

churs in the wilderness they were the

church they had it

all but still they did not enter into

the promised land and this stand as a

strong warning to you and me so this is

what Paul said about the

church for do not for I do not want you

to be ignoring of the facts brothers and

sisters that our ancestors

were all under the cloud and that they

all passed through the Red Sea they were

all baptized to Moses like we are

baptized into Christ in the cloud and in

the sea so spirit and water baptized to

Moses they all eat of the same spiritual

food that was the Mana coming down from

heaven that is our communion today we

are eating the Heavenly communion

they drink all of the same spiritual

drink they keep being full of the spirit

like we are commanded to in Ephesians

don't get drunk by wine but be full of

the spirit they had it all they drink

from the spirit a rock that accomplished

them and that rock was Christ Christ was

with them in the wilderness The Rock was

Christ they were the church in the

wilderness and and there's a whole story

here The Rock was Christ and The Rock

David through was Christ who killed the

golad and that is the prophet of Daniel

of this the giant the Nations that would

be destroyed and and that small rock the

stone will become a great mountain and I

have a lesson about that later when we

are looking at at King David and we're

looking at the Book of Daniel and

Revelation but what we need to

understand

that the church in the wilderness they

had it

all

nevertheless

nevertheless God was not pleased with

most of them and their bodies were

shattered in the

wilderness and he

continues now these thing

occurs occurred as

examples to keep us you and me

to keep us from sitting our hearts on

evil things as they did so they had it

all and us who are the church

today we should read the story of the

Israelite and how they were the church

called out of Egypt but we should see

how they went wrong and we should learn

from that we should learn from that but

I don't feel many have learned from it

because there's no different and as St

in not enter into the Promised Land

people in the churches today who will

not enter into the promised land why

they have never been separated from

Egypt they maybe left Egypt but Egypt

are still in them they still keep

looking over their

shoulder and and Paul continue with

warning to us do not be adulterers as

some of them were as is written the

people sat down to eat and drink and got

up and indulged in

Ry we should not commit sexual

immorality as some of them did on that

day

23,000 of them was killed we should not

test Christ as some of them did and they

were killed by snakes and he come with

that list and do not Grumble I like that

that is get with everything else as some

of them did and they were killed by the

time back in the world in this I could

just live in sin and live in my

ignorance and and

just like like we should not speak like

that yes we are maybe walking in a

desert yes we are walking into a

Wilderness yes we are exiled here on

Earth yes we are thirsty yes we are it's

not easy but but we have a goal and that

is the promised land we are not looking

back to where we came from we are

looking forward to what is coming and

that is where the strength is when I was

in jail I could have grumbled about

everything and there was a lot of things

that was not good the food was not good

they found small

maggots or box in the food the food was

not cooked there was strik sometimes the

whole pot d stride and didn't want to

eat food and was complaining and

hammered the doors and making a lot of

noise and the guards came in and they

locked us down and people was

complaining complaining complaining but

I'm like it don't help me it don't help

to complain it helped to have the right

attitude and and that was the different

the attitude what we focus on and that's

why people came into me and said Tom why

are you so happy why are you so free you

should not be like that you have been

treated unfair but you don't complain

you don't Grumble no I Rejoice why

because my focus is right I'm I'm

looking at I know I'm in a journey I

know I'm in a race and I don't want to

be disqualified in this race I want to

be purified and God's God is purifying

me to those things I go to so I become

more like

him I'm I'm called out I'm his church we

are the

church and then he said these things

happen to them as

examples and it was written down so this

is written down the story of the

Israelites save out of Egypt the church

in the wilderness was written

down as a warning to us to whom the

comination of the ages have come so if

you think you are standing firm be

careful that you don't

fall before all of this Paul he said

something and and we put a chapter in

and often we divide the letters in

chapters and that is a mistake because

it's all connected a few verses before

on to this Paul he said this do you not

know and I want to say this to you do

that in a race all are running but only

one get the

price try to think of the Israelite they

were slave in Egypt they were saved out

of Egypt

but that was not the end of the race to

be Sav was not the end of the race to be

saved out of Egypt was the

beginning of the

race how were they saved out of Egypt

that is the next lesson we're going to

the repentance to the blood of the land

that is the blood to the Red Sea to the

pillar of light and the cloud there were

that that is our new birth we are seeing

here how they were saved out of Egypt we

are being saved out of

Babylon and how there were pilgrims and

with the Fus the promised land the same

way we are now in our

race and we are here to finish the race

but I've seen many people who like hey I

am safe now h Hallelujah and they just

stand there and waiting for Christ to

come not being purified not understand

that there is a raise not understand

that we are running to get a crown that

will never perish or Fade Away we are

running for the eternal life and he says

that run in such a way that you get the

price what price the promise the eternal

life the

inheritant everyone who compete in a

game go into St training strict training

they do it to get a crown that would not

last but we we do what we go into strict

training to get a crown that would last

forever therefore I do not run like

somebody running

aimlessly I do not fight like a box of

Bea in the air no I strict a blow to my

following the flesh of your dis body and

your desires no you you kill that body

obedient become your slave so uh yeah i

about the Israelites how they had it all

how they have Christ the Rock with them

baptized into Moses in the cloud and in

the sea how they ate of the spirit of

food the Mana the communion all of it

they had it all but still they were all

disqualified and they were save out but

they did not enter

into there somebody say one safe always

safe if you just pray this prayer do

this you are one safe and nothing can

take away from you that is a lie we are

not one saved yet because it's only

those who are victorious who is inherit

all this as we talked about that we will

one day if we have washed our

garment by the blood of the Lamb if we

clean we will enter into that to the

gate and we will take off the tree of

life and live

race do you go into strict training do

you strike a blow to your body and make

disqualified this is how it should be so

the church what is that that is the

people who are called out God's holy

nation God gave a promise what is the

promise I will walk with you I will be

your God and you be my people but for

that to happen we need to come out from

them and be separated TS no unclean

thing and I will be your God we are in

the world but we are not part of the

world we should come out of Babylon

before it fall and judgment God will

raise up a prophet like Moses they had

Moses the law of Moses we're going to

look at that we have Christ the law of

inherit the kingdom of God again we we

are not talking about just a spiritual

kingdom here we are talking about a real

Kingdom coming down from heaven new

heaven new Earth New Jerusalem Heavenly

Jerusalem the Garden of Eden evildoers

will not inherit the kingdom of God do

not be deceived neither sexual immoral

or adulter and adulterous nor man who

have sex with man or thief or greedy or

drunkenness or Slanders or singers will

inherit the kingdom of

God and that is what some of you

were but you were called out you were

separated you were wased you were

Sanctified you were justified in the

name of Lord Jesus Christ by the spirit

of

God some of you some of you were like

that today

I want to say something when when you

say touch no unclean and be

separated I I'm we're going to look much

law of Christ because we are not under

the law Moses so it's not like we should

be in a Monas and be monks we we should

just be transformed we should be renewed

we we should put off the old life and

raised to a new life with Christ set

Heaven set your side on this reality on

heaven where Christ sits in the place of

honor at God's right hand do you do you

of Christ sitting at in heaven right now

at God's right hand and

soon he will come back here when time

have come where God will send the

Messiah and he will set up the kingdom

promised and we will get a new Heavenly

Body and get our reward think about the

things of heaven and not things on earth

Christians think more more Heavenly

thing Spirit Earthly thing than Heavenly

thing is like heaven is is far away from

them they desires like what what do we

live for like buying a house buying a

car taking education it's all almost

like it's all this world and like this

world is just disappearing and and we

all go to heaven like like already now

when we are on this journey Pilgrim

aliens strangers walking running the

race toward the promised SL with a

warning that we should not do like the

Israelite while we are here and running

we should sit our side on the reality of

heaven and not things of this Earth for

you died to this

life you died to this life and your real

life is hidden with Christ in God and

when Christ who is your life is revealed

the whole to the whole world you will

share in his

glory we now we were Justified we are

now being

Sanctified so we one day will share in

his glory so we one day will be

glorified that is our journey the

Israelite was saved out of Egypt and

then in the desert they should be

transformed and purified so they could

enter

in to the promised land but they fail

that

sanctification they keep going back and

they stand as a warning to you and me

that the church in the wilderness did

not make it and the church many places

today will also not make it if we don't

get this message

right so put to death the

sinful Earthly things

looking within you put today

have nothing to do with sexual

immorality impurity lost evil desires do

not be

greedy for the a greedy person is

adulterer worshiping the things of this

world this is a strong warning to you

and me he continues because of these

sins the anger of God is coming you used

to do these things when your life was

still part

of this world when you are part of Egypt

when you are part of Babylon when you

part of this world and the mindset of

this world but now you at the church

what do that mean you are called out of

this

world so so we are not part of this

world anymore but now as the church it

is time to get rid of

anger as the church it's time to get rid

slander time to get rid of slander

slander dirty

language don't lie to each other for you

have stripped off your old sinful nature

with all the wicked

Deeds put

off get rid off and then put on first

you get rid of and then you put on the

new nature to be renewed

as you learn to know your Creator and

become like

him in this new life it does not matter

if you are Jew or Gentile circumcised or

uncircumcised barbaric on civilian slave

or free Christ is all that matters and

he live in all of

us we continue here since God chose

you or called

you out to be his Ecclesia to be his

church since God God chose you to be his

church to be the holy people he love

that is the same we are the holy people

God love we are his

church that is how it should be you must

clothe yourself with tender hardness mer

tenderhearted Mercy kindness humility

gentleness and

patient make allowance for each others

fault and

forgive anyone who offend you remember

the Lord forgave you so you must also

forgive other above all clothe yourself

with love which binds all of this

together in Perfect Harmony what a

beautiful beautiful beautiful verses

here this is the church this is our call

this is our

desire there should happen a

transformation people should come into

our churches and see all of

this but I have been in churches where I

come in and it's it's almost like a

concert it's like the world people speak

like the world they dress like the world

that talk the the they behave like the

world and then we say we are the

church let let the warning of the Bible

with the israelit stands strong for us

so we will not be disqualified in the

race and he

continues and let the peace that comes

from Christ rule in your

heart for as members as one body you are

called to live in peace and always be

thankful let the mess about Christ in

all its riches fill your lives teach and

consel each other with all the wisdom he

gives sing Psalms hymns and spiritual

songs to God with thankful hearts that

is the message I want to

share think of the church as

not a building not an

organization not of

nonprofit not of church

denomination not as a meeting activities

you go

to but as a group of people who are

called

out call out of this world to be

transformed to be holy like God is Holy

so we one day can be glorified with him

and that is what we're going to look at

later as we move on the justification

the sanctification the glorification and

and next

teaching we're going to look at how they

were called out and the way the

Israelite was called out of Egypt is the

same way we are called out of Egypt this

world today and it's not just a nice

pray this prayer ask this into your

we learned

God wants a people that is his that is

the whole message of the Bible from the

Garden of Eden God wants a people that

is his people God long to have a people

who will be his where he can be their

God Walk with them in the cool of the

day as he did with Adam and Eve in the

garden of

Edom After Fall he found Abraham so

after fall and the flood God found

Abraham and gave him a pro gave a

promise to him and from him came Isaac

and Jacob we got Israel as a nation but

they were still in Egypt enslaved to

this world so he found Moses to call

them out from Egypt to worship him in

the wilderness then we have the church

the church first the church in the

wilderness did not understand that they

were God's called out

people that they were a holy nation or

was supposed to be a holy nation they

continued in sin and looked back to

their old life and in the end

they were

rejected and did not enter into the

promised land serving as a warning for

you and me when I say they there was

that generation who did not enter in but

but we know that um Joshua and Caleb

they took the Next Generation in Moses

he did not enter in himself he only he

saw the promised land he actually

entered in later on the Mount of

figuration with Christ himself but we're

going to come back to that later so he

saw it but but not there but it's very

interes there's a lot of story here

because Moses brought them to the

promised land but he could not bring

them in he need another person that was

Joshua that means Jesus Joshua is the

name of Jesus so Moses brought them to

the promised land but it was Jesus who

brought them into the promised land and

the same the law can bring us only so

far but it's Christ who bring us the

whole way in but there was the church

there and the church in the Old

Testament stand as a warning for you and

me put off and put put on we become

God's called out God's Church through

repentance baptism water and receive the

Holy

Spirit but it doesn't stop

there now we are to continue to put off

the old way of thinking and the old way

of living and instead put on the new man

being renewed to become like God our

Father

one day

glorified when we are justified in

Christ the grace of God the Holy Spirit

we looked at is teaching us and

transforming us with is also called

sanctification if we let him do that and

continue in Christ we will one day be

glorified as we enter into the promised

land and this was what I wanted to share

today and I really encourage

you follow the whole

school as as we take pieces of pieces

and pieces like pieces of a big puzzle

and you see one piece there you see one

piece there you see one piece there you

see one piece there and sudden you see

the whole picture and everything makes

sense in a new way and and the message

today you need to understand is that

there was a church in the Old Testament

and it was called out from Egypt and we

are now called out so we will not be

judged together with this world and we

are now being Sanctified so we one day

church God come with your Holy Spirit

and remind them of things they need to

put off in their

life and help them to put on this new

life God help us God to to learn from

this God come with your Holy Spirit open

our eyes and help us to continue running

the race and serving you and as a

disciple preaching the gospel of the

kingdom and demonstrating the power

thereof God in Healing The Sick and

cting out demons God and seeing people

being born again God come with your Holy

Spirit In The Name of Jesus amen God
