This REDMAGIC Astra Gaming Tablet
would come in two colors:

eclipse black
or the starfrost silver.

We're holding

Now, this gaming tablet
is so cool.

It's a first time to grip
a tablet just using one hand.

And yeah, I can do it right now
which is definitely good.

Its transparent strip here
is so beautiful.

It has a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Elite chip

that's written here.

Plus, of course,
its RGB fan here which is,

well, its trademark.

You'll notice here that
it has a Magic Key.

So once I activate it,
it'll go to its Game Space.

That's where you can see
all the games you downloaded.

You can even calibrate
all the game settings here,

like bypass charging
and all of the other things

that you want.

One thing you'll also notice
is that its bezels

are quite thin.

It's just 4.9mm thick
which is probably one

of the thinnest on a tablet.

If I'm correct,
because the iPad Mini

is on 8.7mm
in terms of its bezels.

And one thing to notice also
is its charging port

is on the bottom,
not on the middle,

it's on the bottom right side.

Now, we know that this tablet
is being powered

by the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Elite,

the most powerful chip
that Qualcomm has

as of the moment.

And REDMAGIC maxed it out
on this small gaming tablet.

It was able to score me
around 2.5 million points

on AnTuTu Benchmark
which is quite impressive.

This is the breakdown score
that we got.

This is the score I got
on the Geekbench CPU benchmark,

and on the GPU benchmark.

It's got 6,091 loop score
on Wild Life Extreme

with 90% stability.

Now, this tablet has a big battery.

Despite its size,
it has 8,200mAh battery

which I think this can support
up to 80W of fast charging

based on its official specs sheet
because there's nothing

written about it.

But I used my charger
from the REDMAGIC 10S Pro

and its fast charging worked.

Charging time from 0 to 100%
takes me around 70 minutes

to complete
the full charging cycle.

The box is thin so expect
for it to not have

a charger included.

One of the good things
on this tablet is that

its battery lasts long.

One whole day,
you won't have a problem.

As long as you're not doing
any heavy gaming,

this can last you.

And when I rated this
on the PCMark battery stress test,

7 hours and 13 minutes
based on 50% brightness

and 60Hz of screen refresh rate.

Let's talk about the display
which is, for me,

the selling point
on this tablet.

This one has a 9.06-inch
OLED display

with 165Hz of screen refresh rate.

Its maximum brightness
is 1,600 nits.

It has 2.4K resolution.

And it's the first time that
REDMAGIC collaborated

with Synaptics to give you
a better touch response

on its screen.

One of the good things here
if you're browsing

on social media,
expect to enjoy.

This tablet is kind
of a larger smartphone.

And when you're browsing,
you'll just keep on swiping here.

Expect that when it comes
to social media,

you won't have any problems
because of its high refresh rate.

And another thing is that
when you watch videos here,

it's also very good
because it's not as big

as 10 to 12-incher tablet.

And this one is definitely
ample enough for you

to watch all of your favorite
Korean novellas.

You might even get tired
of watching them here.

Now, this tablet
doesn't have four speakers.

This one has two speakers,
on top and the other one

is on the bottom.

And this one is being tuned

Its sound is great.

It's loud.

Even if it only has two speakers,
but you can feel

that the sound is really good
coming from this tablet.

Let's talk about gaming
on this tablet.

Will it get hot or not?

We'll find out later
because I've played

four games here.

We've played Genshin Impact,
Crystal of Atlan,

Wuthering Waves,
and Call of Duty Mobile.

On Genshin Impact,
I maxed out its frame rate to 60 FPS

and I also maxed out
its graphic settings

that it can support.

And one of the good things here
is that I really enjoyed

the gameplay here.

Probably one of the best things here
that I can say is that

it's lighter compared
to traditional tablets

that are 11 or 12-incher.

But it gives you that goodness
of a big screen.

Plus, its bezels are so thin
so the screen

is very much whole for your need.

Plus, its touch sampling rate
is very fast.

You won't have any problems here
because its screen

is very responsive.

And one of the other things
you'll like about it

is that its sound is great.

I was able to play
Genshin Impact for an hour

and my gameplay
was continuous.

I was really enjoying it.

I didn't feel that much frame drops
along the way.

If ever there is,
it's just minimal

that you won't notice.

So after an hour of gameplay,
I just only reached up to 42°C

which is quite cool.

On Crystal of Atlan,
I also maxed out

its graphic settings
and frame rates.

And to my surprise,
it was really good.

I was able to continue
my adventure game

and as well as playing together
with some ranked matches.

It was really fun.

One of the good things here
is that its graphics

are beautiful.

The game Crystal of Atlan
is very fast-paced

which probably many people
will like this

since it's fast-paced action game.

And you won't feel
any frame drops along the way.

The hottest it achieved
after 45 minutes of gameplay was 42°C.

On Wuthering Waves,
I also maxed out its graphic settings

and one thing I noticed here
is that the gameplay was good.

It's quite smooth
and I didn't notice

that much frame drops
on this game.

And another thing that
I noticed here

is that its graphics
are very good.

Its sound is also okay.

And the hottest I achieved here
was 46°C after an hour

of gameplay.

On Call of Duty Mobile,
I put it to 120 FPS

and I put it to medium
graphic settings.

One of the things
that you'll also notice here

is it's so smooth.

It's really very smooth.

The gameplay here was great,
this game was very buttery smooth.

Another thing you'll like
is its field of view.

And of course,
its sound is loud.

I didn't notice
any frame drops on it.

The hottest it reached
after an hour of gameplay was 42°C.

Right now, let's talk
about the cameras.

Its rear camera is a 13MP
main camera sensor

with auto-focus.

And this one can shoot you
up to 4K and 60 FPS.

Its front-facing camera
is a 9MP shooter

which can record you
up to 1080p and 30 FPS.

Now, I've tried getting
some pictures using

this tablet which
I normally don't use.

And taking outdoors,
I would say my shots here

are not bad.

Though these rock
look yellowish,

on actual, it's a little bit
more greyish.

Its colors are not that accurate,
that's what I noticed.

When it comes to this flower,
the shot was fine,

though it's a little bit
saturated orange

as compared to what I can see
with my actual eyes.

But nevertheless, I would say
that the details captured here

are quite good.

The greens are a little bit saturated
too as well.

When it comes to this flower,
it looks okay.

Its whiteness is just right
which is quite good.

And when it comes
to this pink flower,

it's just fine but it's kind
of out focus,

maybe because the wind
is strong that's why

it wasn't able to be steady.

And taking these greens,
I would say that, yeah,

it became a bit neon
because of its saturation

but it looks great,
well, somehow.

And taking these other flowers,
they're a bit small

but the details on this shot
were good.

Moving indoors,
taking a look at some

of the photos that I got...

This shot looks okay.

I was using a normal shot.

I kind of moved back a bit
just to capture this big shot.

When it comes to this arcade,
the lighting looks fine.

It's not overexposed.

Its shot looks good,
and you can see

there's no color bleed coming
from these LED lights.

Taking some quick snaps here,
these shots look fine,

there's no problem here.

Even with this one,
it's also fine.

And trying another one here
on the arcade, it's also okay,

there's no color bleed.

I also tried taking
this close-up shot

of these lemons.

It was fine,
the photos are sharp.

I also tried different
zooming capabilities of the camera.

This is a normal shot,

2x,

and 5x zoom.

When you look at 5x zoom,
you can see that

the details are soft already
on this logo of Iglesia ni Cristo.

If you're trying
the front-facing camera,

it's not so bad,
but not the best quality I've seen

on a tablet.

But for me, it's a gaming tablet,
its shot is not bad.

The amount of details
from its front-facing camera

is good.

This one is also okay, not bad.

You can see the details
on my hair.

As well as this one,
it's kind of soft

because the sun
is not that bright anymore.

When you go indoors,
it's very obvious

that my face became soft.

As well as this shot,
you'll really notice

that it's soft as compared
to my other outdoor shots.

And this is also another
not-so-bad outdoor shot

that I've captured.

The details on my face
are quite good.

If you're using this tablet
to vlog while walking,

it's a little bit shaky
but the quality is okay, so-so,

not so bad.

If you're using the rear camera
for vlogging

which you wouldn't probably not do,
its quality is okay,

not so bad.

Shooting a 4K video,
I can say that, well,

its resolution is not bad,
except that it's kind of jittery.

Since this is a tablet,
we can't deny that

you might use this
for conferencing

or just video chatting.
