How to use the all-new Remove Tool in Photoshop CC 2025!

  • 0:00 - 0:02
Hey, what's up everybody? Justin Cely here,
  • 0:02 - 0:03
and today we're talking about Photoshop
  • 0:03 - 0:06
CC 2025, and one of my favorite new
  • 0:06 - 0:09
features. Here I have a photo of the Las
  • 0:09 - 0:10
Vegas sign. As you can see, it's a great
  • 0:10 - 0:12
photo, but there are a lot of little
  • 0:12 - 0:14
distractions in here. In Photoshop CC
  • 0:14 - 0:16
2025, I'm going to use something called
  • 0:16 - 0:17
the "remove tool" to get rid of them
  • 0:17 - 0:19
instantly. First things first, though, I'm
  • 0:19 - 0:20
going to go over to the layers panel,
  • 0:20 - 0:22
click on the "new" button to create a new
  • 0:22 - 0:24
    layer so I'm working non-destructively.
  • 0:24 - 0:26
I'm then going to grab the "remove tool",
  • 0:26 - 0:28
over here in the toolbar, by grabbing it
  • 0:28 - 0:31
just like so. Then, up here in options bar,
  • 0:31 - 0:32
you want to make sure that you have
  • 0:32 - 0:35
"sample all layers" turned on. I'll extend
  • 0:35 - 0:36
my canvas a little bit so you can see
  • 0:36 - 0:39
that there's "sample all layers" turned on.
  • 0:39 - 0:42
And once you have that turned on, what
  • 0:42 - 0:43
you want to do is go to the "find
  • 0:43 - 0:45
distractions" option here in the options
  • 0:45 - 0:49
bar, and choose "wires and cables". And once
  • 0:49 - 0:50
this is finished, it's going to work its
  • 0:50 - 0:53
magic automatically. Boom! There you see
  • 0:53 - 0:55
all of those things completely removed,
  • 0:55 - 0:57
instantly. Again, this is the "remove tool"
  • 0:57 - 1:02
inside of Photoshop CC 2025. Check it out.
