-
There are 4 - 5 translations of the Slok.
-
None of them are talking about this
thing that we just talked about.
-
Just one simple translation.
-
32nd Pauri of Japji Sahib
-
"Ik doo jeebhou lakh hohi
lakh hoveh lakh vees."
-
That's Pavan Guru.
Those whose breath is the Guru.
-
Above our breath.
Pavan means life - our breath.
-
You will ask, "how?"
Maharaj says in Anand Sahib.
-
"Har jiyo gupha ander rakh kay."
"Vaja pavan vajaya."
-
Our breath is made of air.
With your breath, say Vaheguru.
-
Vaheguru, that is Pavan Guru.
-
Chant 'Guru Guru' with every breath.
Life will be improved.
-
Read the Hukam naavay.
Maharaj says, "Guru Guru Jaapo."
-
Say the Guru's name.
Guru. Vaheguru. Guru. Vaheguru.
-
Chant 'Guru Guru' with every breath.
"Pani Pita."
-
Why is pani next?
After the Pauri,
-
Jish Hath Jor, Kar Vekhe Soye Nanak, Uttam Neech Na
-
Koi. Nimrata di load hai ki hai Saasangi.
-
Nimrata. Kede ko nimrata hai ki hai?
-
Paani ko. Paani bhot nimrata wala haega.
-
Paani thalle hi jaanda hai.
-
Nimrta will wash us.
-
Paani pita. Nimrta, make it your father.
-
Then, Mata tartmahat.
-
Mata tartmahat means our Guru.
-
Gurmat is Mata.
-
The greatest mother is our Gurmat.
-
That's the Mat we need.
-
So Maharaj says, become a Gursikh.
-
What comes after Akharn Jor, Chepena Jor?
-
Is taram khand.
-
Come into taram.
-
Come into righteousness.
-
To become a tarmi person.
-
To start to control our actions.
-
That means, Gurmat leni.
-
become Taram, because Vahe par Tarmi karmi hoye vichar.
-
Sacha aap, Sacha darbar.
-
Tithay sohan, panch parvaan.
-
Panch hothe honde, the panch are supreme in Taram khand.
-
Why? Who are the panch?
-
Malin likhaya bani vich, panch parvaan, panch pardhaan.
-
Panche pa vahe dargeman, panche sohae da rajaan, panch ka
-
gur ek dyaan.
-
The panch are focused upon their Guru.
-
That's the panch.
-
Therefore, mata tarth mahat, gurmat.
-
Focus upon gurmat, live within gurmat.
-
That's pavan guru, pani pita, mata tarth mahat.
-
Naam naam japo, harik swas naal, phir.
-
become humble like water, and then finally live in Gurmat.
-
Then This is Divasaraad.
-
Then Gyan Khanda came.
-
If you get Gyan, The whole world is playing in
-
Gyan and Agyan.
-
That's what's happening in it.
-
Some people know how to live, some people don't know
-
how to live.
-
That's Divasaraad. Then?
-
Saram Khand. After Gyan, we look inside, we realize, Gyan
-
and Firi. Mark in there.
-
We got to go show Taram Khan, Taram Raj, how
-
much good things, how much bad things.
-
So we start to think of ourselves, sow ourselves out.
-
We get Sharam.
-
And we put efforts, which also means Saram, to sow
-
ourselves out. What happens to Saram Khan?
-
We start to sow ourselves out.
-
We sow these things out.
-
Then what happens?
-
What happens after Saram Khan?
-
How many karmas do we have?
-
How much Kripa, how much things have we done that
-
are good, that we get blessed with His Kripa?
-
Then, after Karam Khan Sahasang Ji, what is the Khand?
-
Satch Khand Jinni naam te aaya, gaye masakat kaal, naanak
-
te mukh ujjale, keti shutti naal.
-
If we do the naam, we will get to Satchikhand.
-
And then not only we will get blessed, we will
-
take our family with us, our friends with us.
-
Keti shutti naal.
-
Tanaade mukh ujjale honde hain gyein.
-
These are the seven steps of enlightenment of Japji Sahib.
-
Every time we read the slok, we try to remember
-
these seven steps.
-
You start with naam, live in humility.
-
Become a Tarmi person, control your mind, control your thoughts,
-
control your words, control your actions.
-
Become a Tarmi, then get some Gyaan.
-
After Gyaan, get some Sharam and put some effort into
-
sorting your mind out.
-
After you got some Sharam, you might get some Kirpa
-
and get to Karam Khan.
-
Then do good actions even more, because they will bring
-
you closer to Vaheguru, and then finally you get blessed
-
with full Naam, with Sacha.
-
Sacha khand vasahend rankaar.
-
Vas mere govinda, vas mere pyarya, o vas jandaan.
-
Othe ni ithe vasand.
-
Sacha khand vasahend rankaar.
-
We have done the basics of Sikhi.
-
We have done the basics of Sikhi.
-
What do we do then?
-
We will fall, right?
-
We don't have roots, we will fall.
-
This is science.
-
Take a tree, cut all of its roots, and it
-
will fall over.
-
That's what's happening to us.
-
Our elders, they left India, they came here.
-
They earned a lot, they made Gurdwaras.
-
But they couldn't make money.
-
So what happened?
-
We were left uneducated.
-
Gurdwaras used to be very uneducated, Sikhs used to be
-
very firm. What happened today, Satsang Ji?
-
Gurdwaras are very firm.
-
Big Gurdwaras are being made.
-
Sikhs are left uneducated.
-
They don't know what is inside Bani.
-
They don't know what is inside Bani.
-
They don't know what is inside Bani.
-
Baani Guru, Guru hai baani, vich baani, amrit saare, saare
-
amrit de vichi hain ghiye.
-
Everything you want to know about life is in Gurbani.
-
Then, when we forget it, we lose everything.
-
Gurbani ke hain, sevak jo janmaan hain, par takh Guru
-
nistaare. He will come Himself to save us.
-
To save this panth, He will come.
-
He will send His calls to save this panth.
-
If we listen to the Baani and we follow it.
-
If you want the solution out of this Chakra View,
-
it's in Baani.
-
Chakra View is that trap you can't get out of.
-
We are in that trap right now.
-
Pahand all around us.
-
All around us is Pahand.
-
Unless we go back here, we won't get out.
