Why Should Christians Support Israel?

god held his hand he did it not just to

save Isaac he did it to create a nation

that he created 3,500 years ago and put

in motion a land for which he chose his

people his

place and his purpose and we celebrate

those of us who are Christian our Jewish

friends i sometimes get asked this

question because Particularly as a

evangelical Christian with many Jewish

friends sometimes they get really honest

in asking me what is it about you

people and I don't mind being called you

people but I get this

question why are Christians so

supportive of Israel in general but the

Jewish people in

particular and I thought about for many

years and I said to one of my friends on

a trip here several years ago I said

"It's really pretty easy for me to

explain it to you you can be

Jewish and have nothing whatsoever to do

with

me i cannot be a Christian and have

nothing to do with you because

everything I believe base my faith on is

built on the foundation of all that God

started he created the heavens and the

earth and he created the Jewish people

and he called them he set them aside he

gave them the purpose and all that I

believe everything upon which my faith

rest solely upon the foundation of you

my Jewish friends

so I often

say as a

Christian I owe my Jewish friends a debt

it's an

obligation if you

fall we

fall i don't ever want Jewish people

ever in the world to say we are all

alone no one stands with us because all

of us are here today as Christians to

say we stand with you with you not

behind you that means way behind you we

stand with you
