Here we are in Rosengård, a part of Malmö known as "the toughest ghetto in the Nordic".

Rumors state that armed gangs are currently hunting the infamous shooter nicknamed the "New Laserman".

After only a few minutes, TV2 runs into one of the hunters.

"We've been looking for him for five days straight now without sleeping."

More than 90% of Rosengård's population consists of immigrants.

In practically every case so far, the infamous shooter has been targeting immigrants.

The problem is if the more extreme gangs get to him first.

"I'll cut off his tongue..."

"Cut off his ears..."

"I'll... make chaos with him [sic]."

"I'll make chaos with him."

"After that, I'll hand him to the police without, you know, a head."

Several involved parties told TV2 they were armed, but were unwilling to show us their weapons.

"Look, look, my entire car is filled with things."

"I don't want you show you anything, but I have tons of weapons, and I WILL, get him."

"The police won't get him, I will get him. I'm bigger than the police."

The police in Malmö is worried that these gangs might get to the shooter before them.

Or even worse, maybe just someone they think is the shooter.

"A person located in Sweden may utilize the Criminal Procedure Code, which states that you may

arrest a person who's committing a crime. But that only applies to someone who's currently committing a crime."

"Running around like this, hunting for someone you think may have commited

a crime is both illegal and highly inappropriate."

"We will... take him."

"And then his family."

"And then his..."

"...name, surname..."

"Everyone with the same surname..."

"All of them, at the same time, they will dead [sic]."

"If we catch the Laserman, he's a dead man. Guaranteed."

"Yep, they're off searching for the Laserman now."
