The Icarus Account - Little Things Tutorial

Hello everybody

This is Ty from The Icarus Account

And today I'm gonna teach you how to play

A song called "Little Things"

Which is off of our brand new album

"Love Is the Answer"

First thing about this song is that um

You wanna go in standard tuning

And then from there

You wanna drop everything a half step down

So your E string

Is gonna turn into a D sharp

A string is gonna be G sharp

D string is gonna be C sharp

G strings gonna be a F sharp

Your B string is going to be an A sharp

And your E string is gonna be D sharp

After you do that, um

You wanna tune your B string

Up to a C sharp

So it should be even with

Your other C sharp

Which is on the D string

And then you wanna tune your E string

Your high E string down to a C sharp

So you're gonna have an open chord

Kind of, in a way

And um, this song is very easy

There's only two chords..

Three cords in the whole song

Um first chord is right there

Just like that

You wanna have your third finger

On the third fret of the A string

And your second finger

On the second fret of the D string

And you wanna just play it open like that

And you do not want to hit the low

E string

It's really really simple just like that

The next chord is the same

Same exact, fingers

You just move it up to the 10th fret

So you're gonna have your third finger

On the 10th fret of the A string

And your second finger on the

9th fret of the D string
