Global Conservation - Introduction

Global Conservation is the only international conservation group

exclusively funding national park and wildlife protection in developing countries.

Sadly illegal logging, land clearing, mining and wildlife poaching

are decimating the national parks in these countries.

In the past 20 years, we have lost over half of our last intact tropical rain forests.

Which means world heritage sites and national parks are the last bastions

of protection for these vital habitats.

With the support of major doners, Global Conservation is working

to protect typically in danger species and their habitats

in both land and marine parts.

Incluiding Mirador National Park in Guatemala,

DaMal World Heritage in Sabah Borneo Malaysia,

Cardamon National Park in Cambodia,

Thap Lan World Heritage in Thailand,

Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica,

Jardines de la Reina Mariné Park in Cuba

and the Leuser Ecosystem in Indonesia.

The last place on Earth where these four iconic species: elephants, rhinos,

orangutans and tigers live together in the wild.

Global Conservation works with park authorities and NGO´s in each country

to deploy global park defense systems and training to achieve

No Cut, No Kill Protection in some of the world´s most in danger wildlife parks.

Global Park Defense is a proven system using aerial and ground surveillance,

smart ranger patrols, community involvement and satelite paced forest monitory

to enable developing countries to fight illegal logging and wildlife poaching.

We are also establishing a center of excellence to model and train other National Parks

in the developing countries where we work.
